- nahsrocketeer75, on 04/01/2008, -3/+170That's got to be one of the worst feelings in all of sports.
- penguinofspades, on 04/01/2008, -1/+64na, i've got the best. bent to pick up a slow rolling ball, stepped back, tripped, and threw the ball into the goal. musta been 11 or 12 at the time
- matthewconnelly, on 04/01/2008, -0/+50I still think this own goal is the greatest, from my home town, Bury!

- theaceoffire, on 04/01/2008, -2/+35The description links to this video as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEFrax5k5Qs
- stonedthot, on 04/01/2008, -6/+30Its called football, and its a hundred times better than the ***** they play in your country. OOOhh 15 guys running into each other over and over again with 10 minute breaks in between, wow the ***** entertainment never ends. And where the ***** do you get off calling that football, you only kick the ball once when its about 10 yards in front of goal which is about the most pointless bit in any game i've ever seen, do they actually ever miss? How about calling it homoerotic handball at least its alliterative and to the point.
- ubernoggin, on 04/01/2008, -7/+26OWNed, indeed.
- DiggMasterJ, on 04/01/2008, -0/+17yes! I read the comments before clicking. Victory is mine!
- inactive, on 04/01/2008, -1/+18the whole blue team fell to the ground like they ate some bad sea food. we have the classic rocking baby throw up motion. the guy who shot it is throwing up in his shirt. the other one is on the floor passed out in his own puke. and the popular bending over the toilet position.
- Newmaniese, on 04/01/2008, -0/+17CHeck this one out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqexQQc49dk&NR=1
- LimeParrot, on 04/01/2008, -0/+14This has to be said. WHAT THE ***** is that music O_O
- Tarkaan, on 04/01/2008, -0/+11Sorry about the name of your hometown, but great example of a bicycle kick to the face gone horribly wrong.
- Conway, on 04/01/2008, -7/+18I know how that guy feels. I've score on my own net before. I kicked it back to the keeper and he freak'n missed it. It wasn't my fault!!
- Tayls, on 04/01/2008, -2/+12That, or the beating he surely received from his teammates once they got to the locker room.
- ibeandy, on 04/01/2008, -0/+9Mine's nearly as good as that. I went to clear a cross when facing my own goal by half heartedly attempting an overhead kick. End result i volleyed the ball into my face and then into the net... Errr i was 24 at the time
- crowbarred, on 04/01/2008, -0/+8after 5 glasses of wine .... i almost understand the video commentry
- herro, on 04/01/2008, -1/+9i had a similar experience in hockey. the other team accidentally hit the puck towards me in the most half-assed shot ever, it's literally going halfway down the ice at 2MPH, no one bothers going to get it, it's so assured i'm going to block it. just to be a cocky son of a bitch, i decide to bend over and pick it up, it was such a bad shot.
i ***** miss it. it slowly slid in the goal while i fumbled a bit after it. needless to say my team was not happy with me. - ElbertF, on 04/01/2008, -5/+13joe361 does not rhyme with ***** at all.
- BlackOp, on 04/01/2008, -0/+8This is better than those. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TSXjTn2lF8
- Emnsta, on 04/01/2008, -1/+9***** you
- BlackOp, on 04/01/2008, -1/+8Yes he can, if it wasn't a deliberate pass. It happens all the time.
- Kyan, on 04/01/2008, -0/+6That was the funniest part. They sort of started dropping like flies.
- TheGameAddict, on 04/01/2008, -0/+6So you're this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqexQQc49dk
(Not Rick Roll, we've had our daily dose already. 10 times.) - wesb, on 04/01/2008, -0/+6BlackOp is right here, there is the notion of intent. It's up to the referee to decide whether he meant to pass it back. I'm pretty sure this guy didn't mean to pass it back.
- deadmantalkin, on 04/01/2008, -1/+7I've scored an own goal once too, and I'm a bloody goalkeeper!
On the other hand, that guy should play as a forward, he's got a cracking right foot! - Niubai, on 04/01/2008, -0/+5This is such an epic own goal. Perhaps the most epic of all own goals.
- chkdg8, on 04/01/2008, -0/+5I think that dude just turned up dead.
- jj101, on 04/01/2008, -1/+6Because secretly you've fallen for him?
- patricks, on 04/01/2008, -0/+5You need more information for that eh? It must be rough being you.
- BlackOp, on 04/01/2008, -1/+6Someone actually did get killed for scoring an own goal once. A columbian player in the 1994 World Cup I think.
- inactive, on 04/01/2008, -1/+5friendly fire, friendly fire!
- xyu1, on 04/01/2008, -0/+4it's amazing how similar that is. I cracked up watching both, but still.....poor bastards. The 2nd one looks worse to me though, it just looks like he's properly lined it up and taken a shot.
- fxu1989, on 04/01/2008, -1/+5***** amazing goal, eh.
- MtheoryX, on 04/01/2008, -0/+4That's horrible. Not only do you kick an own goal, but it was an accident off your own damn head? Own head and own goal.
- AlphAssassin, on 04/01/2008, -0/+4Did you read his "about" section.
"I get dugg down ALOT cuz i am an individual who does not conform,PLUS your opinion sucks!"
Way to get all worked up over someone who probably isn't even old enough to drive. You're a tool. - michif72, on 04/01/2008, -1/+5Right, Andres Escobar: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3%A9s_Escobar
- inactive, on 04/01/2008, -6/+10Just to make it clear, The keeper can't touch the ball with his hands when a player from his own team passes the ball to him. He is treated like any other player when that ball is passed to him by his teammate.
- triskele, on 04/01/2008, -0/+4If he was playing for Columbia, you might have something. They've killed pro soccer players for less upon return home.
- sgtbutterscotch, on 04/01/2008, -0/+4Can't he if his teammate heads the ball to him?
- inactive, on 04/01/2008, -0/+3Gratz, you are a
http://i28.tinypic.com/k1ooap.jpg - Lynxplus, on 04/01/2008, -0/+3That's ***** incredible. LOLOLOLOLOLOL!
- Oppslagsverk, on 04/01/2008, -0/+3Should have passed back outside the poles though;) Rule number one in those occasions
- sammydeath, on 04/01/2008, -1/+4hungary? i bet the prize was like a tractor or a plough anyway
- eddywolf, on 04/01/2008, -1/+4and nascar isn't?
- coolian, on 04/01/2008, -0/+2I was.
- theiceagecometh, on 04/01/2008, -0/+2its a shame a fluke like that ruins a great save.
- NeverOffside, on 04/01/2008, -1/+3Diven surely.
- ibeandy, on 04/01/2008, -0/+2Pretty much like that. My nose started bleeding after mine though
