- ScottMcIntyre, on 11/05/2008, -7/+137They're probably bankers with time on their hands ;-)
- inactive, on 11/05/2008, -5/+121wtf?
- Trekhawk, on 11/05/2008, -9/+95I never got British humor... humour.
- kamel, on 11/05/2008, -13/+96This is actually in an LDS Missionary training center, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missionary_Training_C ... You know, the place where they learn to break into lesbian homes, search for marriage certificates, and learn proper tearing techniques :).
They're in the dorm rooms. - Inaktivist, on 11/06/2008, -3/+82This reminds me of dumb.
- irfanmp, on 11/05/2008, -2/+67I think it's supposed to look like two tiny people hanging from his tie.
- robotvsmonkey, on 11/06/2008, -2/+65There really needs to be a Bury option for Not Funny
- TheXuu, on 11/06/2008, -2/+60not bankers.. mormon missionaries.
- inactive, on 11/06/2008, -0/+47mormon humour.
- Someguy101, on 02/19/2009, -8/+46This picture was taken at the Mormon Missionary training center in Provo, Utah. I'd recognize those brick walls anywhere having once been a mormon missionary myself at one time.
I'm a very firm atheist now. - Scira, on 11/06/2008, -0/+32Diss him all you want, but I didn't know that.
- cle2105, on 11/05/2008, -9/+38Jolly good, chaps. Now I have a delightful anecdote to tell when I share high tea and crumpets with the Archbishop of Cantebery in no less than a fortnight
- techmaster, on 11/06/2008, -4/+29I agree...that's not even remotely funny...buried.
- mrgreenjeans, on 11/05/2008, -5/+28I was going to say the same.
This is Mormon humor. Look at the short sleeves and ties. All that's missing are the bike helmets. Oh, and they're piss drunk. - jc7012, on 11/06/2008, -1/+24A shirt, in your avatar.
- TheMachine1, on 11/06/2008, -0/+22They all ways move in pairs. Two in background, one in foreground and the guy taking the picture.
- sockpuppets, on 11/06/2008, -2/+24Really Digg? Really?
- Brackhar, on 11/06/2008, -1/+22Why is this on the front page?
- gigaboss, on 11/06/2008, -4/+23mormons having some good clean fun :)
- tomg025, on 11/06/2008, -2/+20lame!
- built2spill, on 11/05/2008, -4/+22Bankers? I'd say that looks more like the basement of a Mormon church.
- iagainsti, on 11/06/2008, -0/+18That's not office humor... That's mormon missionary humor.
- citizenchan, on 11/06/2008, -7/+23That's because this is retarded.
- mogdor, on 11/06/2008, -0/+15Is this what Mormons do when their bicycles are in the shop?
- passedoutghost, on 11/06/2008, -2/+17http://www.flickr.com/photos/30999249@N04/30050810 ...
I circled the part where it's funny. - Avaseal, on 11/06/2008, -0/+15And here I thought they were trying to make the Pi symbol or something. Now I feel like a nerd.
- windycityhxc, on 11/06/2008, -2/+17not funny
- eternityawaits, on 11/06/2008, -1/+15Crazy Mormons and their silly antics!
- SadMartigan, on 11/25/2008, -3/+17I agree, I've been there.
When I 19 I knew that God existed, and that I wanted to share the knowledge with others.
I had saved up my paychecks from doing maintenance and cleaning at an apartment complex, and I became a Mormon Missionary, too.
I went overseas, I paid my own way, and I still know that God exists.
I also still know that isn't something that can be determined scientifically, nor is it worth getting in an argument over.
Either you believe or you don't. To each his own.
That being siad, I'm bewildered that this marginally funny photo made it to front page. - bigysmalls, on 11/06/2008, -0/+14Mormons for sure, you can see their black name tags.
- inactive, on 11/06/2008, -2/+15Oh yeah? Well I am so atheist I have become religious. FULL CIRCLE!!!!!
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna beeyotches... - paradexes, on 11/06/2008, -0/+13They are mormon missionaries. Look at their black tags. And that is the Missionary Traning center in Provo Utah. I reconginize it because I have seen it from the inside.
- kutza, on 11/06/2008, -1/+13That's Mormon missionaries either at the MTC, or in Deseret Towers at BYU.
- gllopc, on 11/06/2008, -1/+13They're attempting to stave off their thoughts about girls.
- alvarobernal, on 11/06/2008, -0/+12they're definitely mormon missionaries
google "mormon missionary" and you will see they all wear that same name tag. - maf54, on 11/06/2008, -4/+16Oh you said atheist. dugg.
- Cloned, on 11/06/2008, -0/+11A lot of my friends are Mormon, and my best friend is currently on his mission.
Those guys are definitely Mormon, that's the first thing I thought when I saw the picture. - mkearl, on 11/06/2008, -0/+11I spent 2 months here. It was a great place full of immature 19 yr old's (I was one of them). I've got a couple rolls of film of similar photos. They work these guys like 14 hours a day learning languages etc.... photos like this help with the head aches of cramming all day.
- gllopc, on 11/06/2008, -0/+10Yes - that's Brother Ezekiel.
He's such a card! - seltaeb4, on 11/06/2008, -0/+10They travel single-file to hide their numbers.
- brandonpturner, on 11/06/2008, -2/+12This must be too funny for my comprehension because it makes about as much sense to me as Darth Vader trying to desalinize sea water with a PÜR filter...
- doctechnical, on 11/06/2008, -4/+14I suggest you kill more of your co-workers.
- inactive, on 11/06/2008, -1/+11Thanks man.
- maf54, on 11/06/2008, -0/+10The most anyone stays is 13 weeks.
- johndajap56, on 11/06/2008, -0/+10I guess all that bike riding takes away your sense of humor
- Rage67, on 11/06/2008, -1/+10and it's not british...
- uvscwolverine, on 11/06/2008, -0/+921 weeks in the MTC and they would be swinging from the ceiling by their ties. Missionaries speaking their native language are there for 3 weeks, most foreign languages for 6 weeks, asian languages for more (not sure how many). I was there for three weeks and I was ready to jump off the roof of the dorm I was going so stir crazy.
- NOD32user, on 11/06/2008, -0/+9Oh...
- that1guyty, on 11/06/2008, -4/+13Or ex-bankers.
- PhoenixAvatar2, on 11/06/2008, -1/+9I really don't get it.
