- ShaneApex, on 11/12/2007, -2/+108Thats kind of a close range weapon.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+64You do know that they are french canadians, right? Surrender jokes doesn't really apply to them, ignoramus!
- Sphonix, on 10/12/2007, -7/+62Holy cow, that movie could of been 10 seconds long :| What's with the pointless wait...
- HerbSolo, on 10/12/2007, -15/+62i kinda liked it that way, pretty much sums up the french type: long talk first, then a major disappointment when it comes to climax...
- AggieTales, on 10/12/2007, -2/+39I'm only looking for a serious response, we all get it, "The french are stupid when it come to the military." (also btw many people have pointed out that these are Canadians) I'm sorry you can't participate in an adult conversation.
- StinkyWizlteats, on 10/12/2007, -1/+35Those guys sound Canadian - that's a Drummondville accent if I ever heard it.
- maffiou, on 10/12/2007, -2/+31This is the canadian army you ***** !!
- sannm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+29I guess us americans have the problem too
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_6BhQpjoj0&mode=related&search= - xutopia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+27That reminds me of that Digg earlier this week that showed racists usually having a lower IQ.
- AggieTales, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22Could anyone with any Military/Defense Arms experience explain what just happened.... It looked like a defective motor to me, but it would be interesting to hear what actually happened.
- foolfromhell, on 10/12/2007, -6/+27"It's the French attempting to fire off an anti-tank device; not surprisingly, the French Army fails at the simplest tasks and will come crying to America if they get in a pinch, just like the rest of the world."
Lets see YOU design and fire an anti-tank device... - ZeoFateX, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20"...the French Army fails at the simplest tasks and will come crying to America if they get in a pinch, just like the rest of the world."
@mikefitz2
I'm American, but do tell: Who was it that helped us fight the British during the Revolutionary War? Who went crying to who? Maybe we owe them a favor. Or two. Don't get me wrong here sometimes the French are pretty funny, but there's no need to be a little bitch. - OnoTadaki, on 10/12/2007, -3/+21I would have to agree with that. That's definitely a French Canadian accent. What's funny though is that with all certainty, this weapons was probably produced in the United States and shipped to Canada for use.
- psylence, on 10/12/2007, -4/+22sphonix: You're obviously new to YouTube, where EVERYONE can post videos, regardless of their taste or talent in video editing.
- isazappa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15mikefitz, agent888, do you read other comments than your own? they are CANADIANS.
oh, and here, some reading for you. http://www.exile.ru/2003-October-02/war_nerd.html - bj00rn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14What do you mean "how NOT to fire an anti-tank missile"? Do you mean you don't pull the trigger or "push the button" to fire something where you come from...? The missile simply misfired, it's not like anyone at the scene could've "fired it differently". Norwegian or argentinean, french or american, we all do the same when firing a missile: Pull the ******* trigger.
- sinbot, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16It sounded like someone was pranking the guy.
- rodolphe, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15I can't believe some of you thought this was french military... Some of you guys are so dumb it's actually scary :)
- akira117, on 10/12/2007, -5/+16Yea this is for when you surrenderer and your on top of the tank.
- jmp120, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11I wonder why you have a brain, I can out-think any time of the day any season of the year. If a missile that was supposed to fly a couple hundred yards away at a target falls on the ground in front of you, I don't think you can rely on the technology enough to assume its not going to explode.
- sputza, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10They are Canadian army... you can tell from the type of camouflage they are wearing.
http://www.army.forces.gc.ca/LF/English/2_5.asp?sub=17 - SpaceDreamer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+111. These guys are not french. Learn to read.
2. It seems that it's the weapon that failed. Try to find out who made it.
3. xenophobic cliches are not funny anymore. Grow up. - dafide, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12They are Canadians!
- MikeyMoose, on 01/30/2009, -2/+11They're not French and "French-Canadian" isn't a nationality. They're Canadian.
- Keiser, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Thats a "2 stage" style rocket. The first stage propels the rocket out of the launcher with just enough force to escape the barrel. The second stage is much more powerful and guide the projectile to the target. This is so that you don't feel the full recoil of the rocket, only the slight launch you saw. In other words the second stage failed and it was whoever made the weapons fault, not the soldiers.
- Zzyw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Sadly, you're right. That could VERY well be the best youtube comment ever.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11best youtube comment ever: "lawl. It looked like a poop gently sliding out of a slippery anus."
- merr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8You know, almost every comedy video submitted to digg gets a commenter that calls out "fake." If you aren't going to supply some evidence then just don't bother commenting, bud.
- gavroche, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Because theres alot of french speaking countries
- dynamx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacrebleu
- t0mmmmmmm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Thank you for the very interesting, frontpage-worthy read.
- SomethingNew71, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I think just a bad round.
- meandmyself, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Hello, I'm french, and i just want to point out :
- These guys are Canadians (and of course "french canadian" isnt a nationality)
- BUT the missile tested here is a french one. This is the "ERYX antichar missile"
- and this was a misfired one.
If you wanna see the french army after a hard days work, go there :

I just underline that anybody who knows anything about European military history knows damn well that over the past thousand years, the French have the one of the most glorious military history in Europe.
There are two things I hate: ignorant fake war buffs, and people who are ungrateful. And when an American mouths off about French military history, he's not just being ignorant, he's being ungrateful. When I say ungrateful, I'm talking about the American Revolution. If you're a true American patriot, then this is the war that matters. Hell, most of you probably couldn't name three major battles from it, but try going back to when you read Johnny Tremaine in fourth grade and you might recall a little place called Yorktown, Virginia, where we bottled up Cornwallis's army, forced the Brits' surrender and pretty much won the war.
Of course thanks to Americans for help on WWII.
- b1m2x3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6so was it the soldiers fault? or was it just a bad round?
- cardyology, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6RUNNNN!!!!!!
- jkill, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7"But I am le tired."
"Well have a nap then fire z missles!" - zodieman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Ça c'est du français canadien. I know, I'm from Québec and I speak the "franglais" fluently. Pretty funny video though...
- nooreazy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4ROFLMAO!!!
- MaxThaRoux, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Theses guy's are French Canadians, I never heard a french from France saying something like "osti", and I know the accent cause I'm a quebecer and if we pay attention to their uniforms we can clearly see a Canadian flag.
- meetjoeblack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Holy crap! Laughed my butt off! snl couldn't have done it better lol
- umbra, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3i really want to get angry at you for continuing that stupid idea, but that would be unethical seeing as how you're mentally handicapped. i was raised better.
- erictheninja, on 10/12/2007, -9/+11@HerbSolo
I bet your wife's said that before, too, huh:)
Sorry, most people who read your comment were thinking that. I just said it. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3agreed, maffiou
The French opposed the war. That's why Congress started calling French Fries "Freedom Fries" - YourTechSupport, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Well. At least one thing today on Digg has me saying 'Oh *****!"
- rodolphe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2to kmcknight :
All of you military experts should at least know a little bit about camouflage patterns, don't you think? - Livewired, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1But it's so much fun to make fun of France and Canada :)
BTW, I'm really not racist. It just doesn't bother me to make inappropriate (read: not PC) comments/jokes. - ryanonfire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1rofl
- kmcknight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1who said I was a military expert?
I didn't hear any french word. -
