- wild, on 11/01/2007, -0/+37I don't know about you, but the dark side looks like they have more fun.
- eastcoast, on 10/31/2007, -3/+38Wonder if he'd be tasered in Times Square?
- kieranculkinfan, on 10/31/2007, -1/+31I'm surprised so many people stopped and watched him. Isn't this sort of thing always happening in Tokyo? With all the dancing robots and such.
- chris9902, on 11/05/2007, -0/+29no, he's white.
- dheaddy, on 10/31/2007, -0/+29Hmm, isn't he a little short to be a storm trooper?
- inactive, on 10/31/2007, -2/+28I don't know why but I watched the whole video.
- peterinjapan, on 10/31/2007, -1/+11This is Danny Choo, who is a gaijin living in Japan, quite the uber-otaku. His blog is quite interesting, too.
http://www.dannychoo.com - livejamie, on 10/31/2007, -0/+9haha i enjoy how apparently in tokyo if you start dancing, random strangers will join you. i wonder if tha'd happen here in america?
- ZombieNinja, on 10/31/2007, -0/+9I've ALWAYS Said the world need more dancing stormtroopers,... ALWAYs
- livejamie, on 10/31/2007, -0/+8technoviking doesn't dance to the music

- GeneralKickass, on 10/31/2007, -0/+8Dugg for "do or do not, there is no try"
- EXreaction, on 10/30/2007, -0/+8Vader wants some of that action.

TechnoViking or Tokyo Dance Trooper? - Roksix, on 10/30/2007, -0/+7So great. That definitely brightened my day.
- FriedGeek, on 10/31/2007, -0/+5Now if we can only get Dancing Trooper paired up with Techno Viking... we could conquer the galaxy!
- livejamie, on 10/31/2007, -0/+5i don't understand anything you just said
- Godlesswanderer, on 11/01/2007, -0/+4When has YouTube ever needed a mirror?
- Chaulis, on 10/30/2007, -1/+5The second building thats in the background, Shibuya 109, totally looks like the shinra building from Final Fantasy 7!
- daeyeth, on 10/31/2007, -0/+4I'm still amazed at all the random strangers the always join in for 30 seconds then move on like nothing unusual just happened. In the states, ppl might watch but I can't imagine them joining in like that
- luke16, on 10/30/2007, -3/+7Shibuya FTW!
- gbro, on 10/31/2007, -0/+4Someone with star wars costumes needs to a parody of TechnoViking with Darth Vader as the TechnoViking, Stormtrooper as Friend With Water Bottle and Twilek as Wig Girl.
- Zippo, on 10/29/2007, -0/+4Oh Japan, I'll go there one of these days...
- contradictator, on 10/31/2007, -0/+4The Funk is strong with this one.
- sadenshi, on 10/29/2007, -0/+4I miss life in Tokyo *cry*
- katherynne, on 10/29/2007, -0/+3Danny Choo has a lot of Storm Troopers videos if you look around the website: www.dannychoo.com (:
- LocalMotion125, on 10/29/2007, -0/+3So that's what Stormtroopers do on their weekend passes...
- ginnipig, on 10/29/2007, -0/+2well that made my day :)
- Coven, on 10/29/2007, -0/+2As much as I love a good MPAA/RIAA/**AA bashing, I have to disagree with you here. Not only does Lucas approve of the various costuming factions, but he has actually incorporated them into a lot of official works (ie: The 501st being incorporated into the novels and video games).
- unrequited, on 10/30/2007, -2/+4technoviking is better:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1nzEFMjkI4 - rush378, on 10/29/2007, -0/+2I liked the Earth, Wind and Fire song much better.
- slimdizzy, on 10/29/2007, -0/+2TechoTrooper?
- EXreaction, on 10/29/2007, -0/+2Japan wouldn't be the same as they are now if things didn't happen exactly as they did in the past...
I love Japan too, but I wouldn't change the past. - pu-z, on 10/30/2007, -0/+2Translation: This is Danny Choo, who is a foreigner living in Japan, a huge geek (of the collector variant). His often updated internet page is quite interesting, too.
- Tomboys, on 10/29/2007, -4/+6Silly but really fun!
- inactive, on 10/29/2007, -1/+3I second that notion
- kickarse, on 10/29/2007, -1/+2TechnoViking is that you?
- bluejay456, on 10/30/2007, -1/+2I thought the comment on YouTube that mentioned that in the US he would most likely have been arrested for disorderly conduct was interesting.
Speaking as an American, all I can say to that is that the poster forgot to mention that he would mostly likely also be sued by the MPAA for copy right infringement. - Tomholius, on 10/30/2007, -0/+1i just couldnt look away
- Urusai, on 10/29/2007, -0/+1Translation: "It's a dancing otaku nerd!" ...as if a guy in a stormtrooper costume didn't tip you off to the nerd part.
- manbear, on 10/31/2007, -3/+4Are you kidding? TechnoViking is Chuck Norris' Apprentice!
- andycr512, on 10/29/2007, -0/+1Since when can you copyright a type of clothing? You can copyright a movie it is in, you can copyright the text/images in the written design of it, but you cannot copyright a style of dress.
- krekc, on 10/29/2007, -1/+1Funny for the first 15 seconds. After that, not so much.
- mocapuff, on 10/29/2007, -1/+1This is but one of the reasons I so love Tokyo.
- katpants, on 10/29/2007, -0/+0why did that guy have a yellow bag on his foot ...? (at about 1:10 - 1:17)
- ahoyhoy, on 10/29/2007, -1/+1... with a vengance!
- justinlarsen, on 10/29/2007, -2/+1people dancing on the internet is not funny to me anymore.
- inactive, on 10/31/2007, -2/+1and here he is getting arrested... http://www.collegepork.com/node/31
- Recluse, on 10/29/2007, -3/+2Hooray for silliness!
- limoo, on 10/30/2007, -1/+0Well, maybe if he used music from an American artist, he would get his video taken down.
