- spoonyinc, on 10/11/2007, -4/+37I love it!
It's unfortunate that so many people don't appreciate british comedy. - MioTheGreat, on 10/11/2007, -5/+34"but does anyone really find this funny? "
Yes. We do. - guytoronto, on 10/11/2007, -11/+29It's not that they don't appreciate. It's that they don't understand it. They have been dumbed down by lame American sitcoms.
- Holyfool19, on 10/11/2007, -6/+22It's very very very funny. If you don't find this funny, then you must have broken your funny bone while watching "Friends".
- fanboydcs, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13guytoronto,
Its more to do with the fact that most americans can not understand the british. Jargon, slang and their speed of talking throws Americans off. Same as when non americans watch american comedies.. - bloqmon, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11Perhaps you should register a complaint for this comedy what you just watched here not but 8 minutes ago.
- Spacecow, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11For you Python fans, A&E is selling their 16 disc DVD set of Flying Circus for a completely ludicrous $35. Deal of the century.

- volatileacid, on 10/11/2007, -10/+15Crass humour, and i'm british.
The problem with a lot of you lot is either:
A) Your sense of humour really sucks
B) Your too scared to go against the grain of all the others on here who think this crap is the bee's knees.
or
C) You don't really understand it, and just jump on the bandwagon to TRY and appear cool.
It's *****, dated, and boring. - Aidanjalali, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3I'm English, and this is a pretty bad Python sketch. It really drags on...it was funny a little bit when I first watched it, but....it's just 'meh' now. I mean, it's entertaining, definitely...but I didn't laugh.
- icegoddess13, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5classic, no one compares to Monty Python!!
- orientis, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4There's not that much to understand. It's not massively subtle or anything.
@fanboydcs Wtf are you talking about? People understand American comedies fine. Most US comedies aren't very subtle or intelligent either.
@happygiraffe I can watch Monty Python repeatedly and find it funny every time. It's old, but it's not dated. Still some of the best comedy ever made. - teenfreakshow, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2It always makes me laugh how Eric Idle keeps asking about pointed sticks.
- Dingle, on 10/11/2007, -8/+10"They have been dumbed down by lame American sitcoms."
Honestly I feel like I have to lower my intellegence some to enjoy this. - MasterSharma, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Whoa, that's crazy... $35 for 16 dvd's on monty python... ($2 a dvd)
nice find - sexybobo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2thanks for that link i just bought a set. i already own it but all my dvd's are scratched or lost. great deal. gona have to back up all these ones so i don't have to buy it again
- jokeoftheday, on 03/31/2008, -0/+1classic classic monty, that is fantastic, glad to see it on here... gonna spend the night searching for other Python skits.
- FlapJaw, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I think ignorantly loving Monty Python is a fad these days.
- Cymrubeats, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2It's a good thing no one had a pomegranate.
- nonchallant0819, on 03/30/2008, -0/+0This is a great story... found this one through http://www.google.com

- FlapJaw, on 10/11/2007, -7/+4I don't really appreciate British humor that much.
- burkay, on 10/11/2007, -6/+3Honestly, I am not british and I don't see how this ***** would be funny if I was british.
- happygiraffe88, on 10/11/2007, -6/+1It's dated, absurdist humor. There isn't really much to "understand" or "appreciate" here, apart from those of you who might have some nostalgia involved.
Is it just as enthralling and hilarious when Wile E. Coyote does the same gag? - WanderLink, on 10/11/2007, -6/+1If this is British comedy at it's best I think I'll stick to American comedy like Seinfeld.
- Rickler, on 10/11/2007, -13/+4Humorous but not 'laugh out loud' humorous.
- edz0nk, on 10/11/2007, -15/+4"Come at me with that raspberry then. Be as vicious as you like with it!"
"No!"
"Why not?"
"You'll *SPOILER* me."
"I wont!"
Classic :) - dbz253, on 10/11/2007, -27/+6how is this funny?
i mean i know british humor is supposedly different. but does anyone really find this funny?
