- retzed, on 03/28/2008, -0/+22So is your house when you have a pet monkey.
- Danktolker, on 03/28/2008, -1/+8Pet? They just elected that monkey prime minister so a little respect, please.
- gowerski, on 03/28/2008, -0/+3This will be a circus monkey- it's probably missing a toe or two from the chain
- ElAssoWipo, on 03/28/2008, -1/+7No they're absolutely awful.
They live over 40 years and you can't housebreak them. Not to mention that they can just decide to rip your arms off and beat you with them if they get angry.
And growerski is right, this is just an adolescent and the TV doesn't like adult chimps. So he'll end up in some awful ***** hole or in a cage of sanctuary for the rest of his life (at least 20 years). And that's if they don't sell him to a lab.- anatraj, on 03/28/2008, -0/+1That wasn't a chimp. It was some species of monkey - most likely a rhesus macaque.
- cawpin, on 03/28/2008, -1/+3"They live over 40 years and you can't housebreak them."
WTF are you on? Monkeys can learn to use the restroom just like a person. - opmike, on 03/29/2008, -0/+3Someone here needs to learn the difference between a monkey and an ape. If things get too complicated for you, the majority of monkeys will have a visible tail.
- precision256, on 03/28/2008, -0/+5That was fake it wasn't even a monkey was a small hairy child in a monkey costume.

- Verz, on 03/28/2008, -0/+2He wasn't pulling, it's so he wouldn't get lost. Monkeys riding on 30mph micro-bikes in traffic aren't among the easiest things to find and catch.

- Celeron, on 03/28/2008, -4/+38Notice how he was looking to his right and left for traffic before proceeding to drive his mini bike? Definitely a smart monkey!
- wicketr, on 03/28/2008, -1/+1Notice the monkey doesn't actually control the mini bike. The guy yanks on the chain around his neck and pulls him back and forth. The bike doesn't have a motor in it.

- Hangly, on 03/28/2008, -15/+38How is it cruel? That monkey has better wheels than I do.
- ch4os1337, on 03/28/2008, -5/+18No its cruel because its a biker monkey.. you know hes out there smoking and selling drugs, I even bet hes in a gang.
- flessa, on 03/28/2008, -4/+33He is being yanked by the neck on a string, hes not really riding it. Open your eyes.
- centerblack, on 03/28/2008, -3/+2The resolution isn't high enough to make that claim.
That mini-bike probably has a fair amount of torque with such a light load. IMO he probably needs something to act as a seat belt so he doesn't lose the bike every time he takes off. The monkey is controlling the bike, if it was hurting him he'd stop.- centerblack, on 03/28/2008, -0/+2The first monkey definitely has a collar but he's not being pulled/abused any more than a dog with a leash.
I watched the video again and I'm not sure if he is being pulled by the neck. It seems like that would hurt the thing/choke it pretty bad. If so that's ***** up :(
- centerblack, on 03/28/2008, -0/+2The first monkey definitely has a collar but he's not being pulled/abused any more than a dog with a leash.
- wicketr, on 03/28/2008, -0/+1He's definitely getting yanked. Watch when the monkey goes in the distance and then comes for his return trip. Watch the guy sitting in the street. He yanks on the rope and the monkey comes flying by him. And when he gets in front of the camera, the rope seems to tighten so the monkey knows his ride is about to make an abrupt stop.
- centerblack, on 03/28/2008, -3/+2The resolution isn't high enough to make that claim.
- Philbert, on 03/28/2008, -6/+22Looked like he was having fun to me.

- scallon, on 03/28/2008, -6/+74What, no wheelie? Pssh.....amateur
I'm pretty sure that was the coolest thing I've ever seen. And, he actually looked both way for traffic! That monkey is smarter than most children. It's mindblowing.- PhattyPhattMatt, on 03/28/2008, -1/+3I think you meant to say "It's MINDBOTTLING"
- TnTBass, on 03/28/2008, -0/+4Not when you look at the parents of those children...
- mfc5200, on 03/28/2008, -3/+18I would teach the monkey to flick off people who either cut him off or beep their horns at him...
- Celeron, on 03/28/2008, -2/+4They need to put him in Grease 3.
- MasterPain, on 03/28/2008, -0/+0Cool Monkey Rider

- russ3, on 03/28/2008, -1/+3If there was a wire around his neck he'd be unhappily driving in sad little circles. But that monkey is free! He just doesnt know directions.
- thebrain1288, on 03/28/2008, -0/+1But there is a wire around his neck.....
- unfinite, on 03/28/2008, -0/+4Without a wire around his neck, he would surely ride off and join a monkey-biker gang.

- knuvue, on 03/28/2008, -4/+19Dirtbike? It's a mini sportbike....Retarded title aside, that is the coolest monkey i've ever seen, and I just want to know who sewed the mini racing suit for the monkey in the first clip of the video.
- knuvue, on 03/28/2008, -0/+10I actually realized that he has a leash around his neck...this went from funny to sad after noticing that.
- floridiot2, on 03/28/2008, -2/+82They probably treat that monkey like *****.
- D3koy, on 03/28/2008, -9/+7Did your owners/parents every buy you a sport bike? Did your owners/parents take you to exotic lands? Did your owners/parents make awkward videos of you with bad music in the background?
- andyisarambler, on 03/28/2008, -0/+3i sure wish mine did. :(
- expert01, on 03/28/2008, -2/+39Of course they treat it like *****. Didn't you notice the monkey wasn't actually driving the bike, but was being yanked really hard by a rope around its neck?
- Philbert, on 03/28/2008, -1/+3He couldn't be being pulled hard when he's going away from the guy on the other end. I did like how he stopped and waited for traffic before coming back.
- LonesomeFighter, on 03/28/2008, -0/+1exactly. if the monkey hated his life, he could have easily drove into traffic. but nope, the monkey enjoyed it's life and wanted to live.
- Philbert, on 03/28/2008, -1/+3He couldn't be being pulled hard when he's going away from the guy on the other end. I did like how he stopped and waited for traffic before coming back.
- shirosamurai, on 03/28/2008, -1/+4That's how they trained it. The monkey knows that if he doesn't get on the bike, he's gonna be dragged right across the pavement. Probably didn't take long for him to catch on to that...
- D3koy, on 03/28/2008, -9/+7Did your owners/parents every buy you a sport bike? Did your owners/parents take you to exotic lands? Did your owners/parents make awkward videos of you with bad music in the background?
- BuckNutty, on 03/28/2008, -1/+9I REALLY hope this isn't an outtake from Speed Racer. ;)

http://digg.com/business_finance/The_Hundredth_Mon ...
It's very cute, even though he isn't really traveling anywhere. It makes me wonder how access to a mass transit system would effect the territorial behavior of animals.- russ3, on 03/28/2008, -0/+1... breaks your link
- jperras, on 03/28/2008, -4/+22I wonder how many lashes the poor monkey had to endure until he finally submitted into riding that thing.
- BriscoeJr, on 03/28/2008, -2/+2seven
- KingGorilla, on 03/28/2008, -2/+2none. Who doesn't want to ride that thing????
- stuartpetty, on 03/28/2008, -1/+2The coolness of the monkey riding the bike easily outweighs the lashings!!!!
- TnTBass, on 03/28/2008, -0/+2Probably had to spank the monkey a lot when it didn't do what they wanted.
- russ3, on 03/28/2008, -0/+1How would you hit a monkey until it rode a motorcycle? They probably gave it treats. If anything hit that monkey it was a car.
- frogman54, on 03/28/2008, -3/+11Monkey Knievel. For his next trick...he will jump 20 fiery bananas.
- haidalangara, on 03/28/2008, -5/+111holy ***** there's some dude pulling him back and forth. that's ***** horrible
- Langford, on 03/28/2008, -14/+2There seems to be a lot of slack in his leash while he rides. I don't think the cycle is leash-pull powered.
- billlyboobs34, on 03/28/2008, -1/+21watch the video again... it's definitely leash powered... around his neck too.
- Langford, on 03/28/2008, -8/+1I guess he is being pulled, but he doesn't look like he is being hurt.
- billlyboobs34, on 03/28/2008, -1/+21watch the video again... it's definitely leash powered... around his neck too.
- darkmagus, on 03/28/2008, -7/+7you guys are idiots. sure there's a leash around his neck...it's a ***** monkey on a motorcycle. if he didn't have a leash on then he'd be cruising the streets picking up monkey poon.
but seriously...it's called physics. if the monkey was being yanked by the rope then it would pull the monkey off of the bike.- Combat, on 03/28/2008, -0/+4Maybe you should watch the video again. It's quite obvious he's being pulled around... By the neck.
- EvilFerret, on 03/28/2008, -0/+1Yep.....I'm guessing the *owner* gives the monkey a small/gentle tug first (get on the bike). After that it's quite obvious the monkey has absolutely no control and is merely hanging on for dear life. It's possible it doesn't physically harm the monkey, but I'm sure it scares the crap out of it. Either way it's abuse and very sad.
- Combat, on 03/28/2008, -0/+4Maybe you should watch the video again. It's quite obvious he's being pulled around... By the neck.

- KingGorilla, on 03/28/2008, -1/+4wait till you hear about these things called boobies
- D3koy, on 03/28/2008, -3/+4I wonder if a monkey on a sport bike gets more chicks for guys than a puppy....

- earther, on 03/28/2008, -10/+8oh gawd, i wonder how many hysterical females we're going to hear shrieking about animal abuse...
- flessa, on 03/28/2008, -3/+12I'm a dude and I'm incredibly offended. That bike has no motor, he is whipping the mokey back and forth by a string on his neck, and his hand appear to be stuck to the handlebars.
- TomJohn, on 03/28/2008, -3/+2I suppose you would rather the monkey fall off?? Huh?!
- codshash, on 03/28/2008, -0/+1If you watch the video the monkey is clearly able to take its hand off of the bars. I also fail to see it being whipped or even pulled for that matter. Yes there is a leash I did notice that. I am not saying that there are not some behind the scenes abuse taking place either, but your evaluation is insufficient.
I also am not defending the misogynistic tone of the poster you replied to.
- flessa, on 03/28/2008, -3/+12I'm a dude and I'm incredibly offended. That bike has no motor, he is whipping the mokey back and forth by a string on his neck, and his hand appear to be stuck to the handlebars.

- HydrogenY, on 03/28/2008, -7/+2I know you think this may look cute, but that little dude must be stopped! According to another article I saw, If that monkey can teach another 99 monkeys how to ride, the planet will soon be taken over by the apes. Look forward to being hunted by gorillas on horseback and put in cages, people.
- breezytrees, on 03/28/2008, -10/+3holy *****. you see that things acceleration? that bike is made for a 150 pound grown man... putting a 10 pound monkey on it sure makes it fly.
- billlyboobs34, on 03/28/2008, -4/+8The man is pulling the cable around the monkey's neck to make it accelerate. there is no engine on the bike.
- Philbert, on 03/28/2008, -4/+3I somehow doubt a man pulling a cable could make it go that fast and far.
- breezytrees, on 03/30/2008, -0/+1there is an engine on the bike. it's electric. you can buy one at walmart for $99.
the cable is a leash to keep the monkey from riding off into the sunset.
- billlyboobs34, on 03/28/2008, -4/+8The man is pulling the cable around the monkey's neck to make it accelerate. there is no engine on the bike.

- Simucal, on 03/28/2008, -4/+10Yea.. it's all fun and games until a gang of roving street-bike riding monkeys mugs you and then takes off at neck break speeds!
- billlyboobs34, on 03/28/2008, -0/+2They told me that those police records were sealed!
- emt41, on 03/28/2008, -0/+1lol simucal said neck break
- billlyboobs34, on 03/28/2008, -0/+2They told me that those police records were sealed!
- phyx726, on 03/28/2008, -3/+5At least he has a means of escape.
- jjive, on 03/28/2008, -5/+46I hope the evil MF who was pulling on that leash gets his balls bitten off by a baboon.
- BriscoeJr, on 03/28/2008, -3/+1A baboon would more likely rip your balls off with his hands rather than biting them.
- codered1322, on 03/28/2008, -0/+1I dunno why you are being dugg down. I saw that on animal planet or national geographic. That when primates fight they go straight for the ball rip. They told the story of a guy who was attacked by chimps and they did not rip them off but they seriously mangled his nuts. Ouch.
- fightforyou, on 03/28/2008, -0/+2om nom nom nom
- BriscoeJr, on 03/28/2008, -3/+1A baboon would more likely rip your balls off with his hands rather than biting them.
- visiblepulse, on 03/28/2008, -4/+16i am guessing that bike is not powered. the man on the other end of the leash is clearly yanking his monkey.
- billlyboobs34, on 03/28/2008, -1/+3Are the first and second monkies different... they don't look like the same monkey
- influenceuh, on 03/28/2008, -4/+35Why didn't that make anybody else ***** off and sad? That ***** isn't cute or funny, the monkey is getting yanked around by the neck. Would you do that to a dog?
- mrm3x1can, on 03/28/2008, -2/+6if he could ride a mini bike
- dreesemonkey, on 03/28/2008, -0/+1My dog yanks me around by his neck. Not a good walker, that one.
- billlyboobs34, on 03/28/2008, -1/+11Why not teach the monkey something useful like stealing wallets and jewelry. Another useful trick is how to lift up dresses or take upskirt pics with a monkey cam.
- Weip, on 03/28/2008, -0/+6dugg for the monkey cam!
- MrLevite, on 03/28/2008, -1/+3Now if I could only find a monkey to do my taxes...

- EmoryM, on 03/28/2008, -15/+18The monkey has a collar on and the guy is pulling it as hard as he can so the monkey builds up velocity. That is not funny. That is wrong. If you think this is funny or cute, you are ***** up. And not in any sort of cool way like Chong or Dennis Hopper. You have been desensitized to the point of being inhuman. You are a rapist, murderer, molester and thief - and if not, it is only due to the lack of an opportunity. You are, in short, not fit to live. If you have even a shred of decency left in your husk of a soul you'll do the world a favor. DIE
- PoopSalad, on 03/28/2008, -11/+4its a ***** monkey riding a bike chill out
- CrimsonBlur, on 03/28/2008, -1/+19Yeah, I think a lot of people are not seeing the collar and leash being pulled by the guy. I think most people are assuming the monkey is actually driving the bike... the first shot is the most obvious though, the guy is just pulling him along. The second one is less obvious, but once you see what's going on, it's even worse.
- knuvue, on 03/28/2008, -1/+14I think a lot of people aren't seeing the leash around the monkeys neck...I didn't the first time I watched it.
- selrahc, on 03/28/2008, -0/+5Yeah it's not that noticeable, and the video is poor quality which makes it even less noticeable. I noticed it in the first clip but I didn't notice it in the second clip until I watched the clip again.

- aoki4, on 03/28/2008, -10/+5the monkey was setting up to do it over and over; it wasnt ***** cowering in fear. get the ***** over it you presumptous faggots
- ed3r, on 03/28/2008, -1/+3Yes because anyone who does anything does it because they love to. Idiot.
- SolidEnder, on 03/28/2008, -0/+2I agree, the monkey looked fine to me. Animals often have fun with toys, not usually that advanced though.
- franklymister, on 03/28/2008, -0/+1I think you meant to use the word "presumptuous."
And I think you meant to say "men who I'm secretly attracted to but must find an offensive name for, lest my proclivities be exposed."
