      And growerski is right, this is just an adolescent and the TV doesn't like adult chimps. So he'll end up in some awful ***** hole or in a cage of sanctuary for the rest of his life (at least 20 years). And that's if they don't sell him to a lab.

      He was cool though. He absolutely loved me. We ended up giving him to a zoo in Kampala.

          That mini-bike probably has a fair amount of torque with such a light load. IMO he probably needs something to act as a seat belt so he doesn't lose the bike every time he takes off. The monkey is controlling the bike, if it was hurting him he'd stop.

            I watched the video again and I'm not sure if he is being pulled by the neck. It seems like that would hurt the thing/choke it pretty bad. If so that's ***** up :(

He yanks on the rope and the monkey comes flying by him. And when he gets in front of the camera, the rope seems to tighten so the monkey knows his ride is about to make an abrupt stop.

After that it's quite obvious the monkey has absolutely no control and is merely hanging on for dear life. I think most people are assuming the monkey is actually driving the bike... the first shot is the most obvious though, the guy is just pulling him along. The second one is less obvious, but once you see what's going on, it's even worse.
