- kiwi2008, on 12/03/2008, -9/+218there is no way in hell you could get me on that. no way.
let alone someone from hell actually proved me wrong and I ended up on that... there is no way, *no way* that I'd be able to eat - because that would involve prising my hands off the girder in order to pick up the food, and I really don't see that happening.
ever - HiImFromReddit, on 12/03/2008, -0/+184I'm sure their helmets will provide sufficient protection if one should fall.

I'm not afraid of heights... It's not the drop, but the sudden stop. Sucks when every other rung on the monkey bars will kill you if you touch it... - howsyamaschooks, on 12/03/2008, -14/+163Holy *****!

"Burgers at Taco Bell, eh?"
See, Taco Bell sells tex-mex style food, which doesn't include burgers. The ad that sitykat suggested would highlight the dangers of eating and subsequently choking on a burger on the high iron. Now the hook would be Taco Bell's customers won't have this danger because they won't be eating burgers, thus not falling to their deaths. In this case Taco Bell's slogan, "Think outside the bun" would save lives.
Understand now? I have graph paper if you'd like a more thorough explanation. - inactive, on 12/03/2008, -0/+62Hello, Pizza Hut? What's your delivery zone?
- Bob042, on 12/03/2008, -1/+54Good thing they're wearing helmets!
- HyphySoul, on 12/03/2008, -3/+54That would suck if they accidentally dropped their soda onto someone's head, death by soda
- purseonality, on 12/03/2008, -2/+53Meh. Those guys are pussies with their harnesses. Check out the original photos of the dudes from the 1930's on the RCA building.

- zjbird, on 12/03/2008, -1/+47Do people deliver up there?
- Hanny26, on 12/03/2008, -2/+46They fall off those beams, and those helmets are now wearing them for protection.
- sitykat, on 12/03/2008, -3/+47Taco bell should make an ad with this that says: "It's all fun and games until someone chokes on their burger and falls to their death. Think outside the bun."
- Calcularius, on 12/03/2008, -0/+42Can you pass the saaaaaaaaaaaaa.............

- IphtashuFitz, on 12/03/2008, -1/+31That looks insane the way they walk out on those ladders like that. I know they're well secured with safety lines, etc. but still....
A few weeks ago I stumbled across a new TV show on the National Geographic channel called "World Toughest Fixes" and I'm hooked after only a few episodes. The most recent one I watched involved a group of about 5 people who had to climb to the top of a 2000 foot television antenna tower to replace the faulty antenna. It was something like a 3 day job and the views were amazing (esp. on my HDTV) but there's no way in hell I'd ever climb up like they do...
Here's a link to the tv episode, complete with some photos:

They also did an episode involving working on high tension lines like in the photos you provided:
