- jtull89, on 03/01/2008, -0/+73Yeah, at first I was wondering if Coldplay actually did that as a joke or something, lol.
- scotticus, on 03/02/2008, -4/+34The real joke is calling Coldplay rock.
- NickMilne, on 03/01/2008, -11/+61jtull89:
They actually do do stuff like this, though I don't know if they've ever done "the itsy-bitsy spider" specifically. They riff on nursery rhymes and kids' songs sometimes when they're jamming on stage, for fun, I guess. I don't know if they've ever done it in studio, but my cousin was at a show in LA once and they did "Mary had a little lamb" to the same tune. He recorded most of it on his phone, but he only started part way through the song, unfortunately, and the video quality isn't great: http://youtube.com/watch?v=RnOt4aN2uyc- sjmulder, on 03/01/2008, -5/+12Oh man the voice, the style, it's awesome. To bad about the low video quality.
- dawpa2000, on 03/02/2008, -8/+4Yeah, here's a statical pie chart video demonstrating the wonderful sales accrued during the performance:

- NickMilne, on 03/02/2008, -0/+3Wow. Seven or more people wanted to see Coldplay perform "Mary had a little lamb." Fascinating :0
- danomagnum, on 03/02/2008, -1/+1Stevie Ray Vaughn did mary had a little lamb, only difference is it wasn't crap.
- Soave, on 03/02/2008, -0/+3That was probably the first time I've been legitimately Rick Roll'd. Well done.
- Hybred1234, on 03/02/2008, -0/+5Well played, sir.

- sjmulder, on 03/01/2008, -1/+1Yeah exactly that one was really, really great.
- gritta, on 03/01/2008, -7/+2Nickelback is the best, closely followed by Coldplay and Gun's N Roses... didn't really think much of the others though.
- stormgren, on 03/02/2008, -1/+8Are you kidding? The Pearl Jam one sounded exactly like Vedder!
- blorguehad, on 03/02/2008, -1/+1Dood fereal, the pearl jam one was amazing, id get it.
- stormgren, on 03/02/2008, -1/+8Are you kidding? The Pearl Jam one sounded exactly like Vedder!
- Teh_Shiz, on 03/02/2008, -7/+3Coldplay's was the best, Nickelback's was alright, Pearl Jam's sounded a bit like Pearl Jam, and the others weren't as great. Especially the B-52s, that one was disgraceful. Guns 'N' Roses too.
- mGARANDEUR1, on 03/02/2008, -0/+2I thought Coldplay and Pearl Jam was the best.
- Dodobutt222, on 03/02/2008, -0/+1Anti-Kidz Bop FTW!!!

- jon30041, on 03/01/2008, -0/+37... Eddie Vedder can now sing to my children while they're playing, an necessitate a development of warbled speech!
AWESOME! (PS: I love Pearl Jam, but you have to admit the guy is hard to understand).- VanD, on 03/01/2008, -1/+9Eddie Vedder is my life.
He is so passionate in his songs (jeremy for example)
But yes he is hard to understand, Yellow Ledbetter
"On a porch..." and thats all I really understand- KiwiMark, on 03/02/2008, -0/+2He makes up the words for ledbetter every time. never the same, and the more drunk he is the harder the are to understand. Awesome!

- spyder91, on 03/02/2008, -2/+2I thought Metallica and the others were covers...until I heard Alanis Morissette. That's definitely her singing. By that logic, they must all be real.
- otis12, on 03/01/2008, -0/+13Kid's bop was lame.
- ZenMojo, on 03/02/2008, -0/+2Although it was funny when they sang "Turn Out the Lights" and "She Bangs" ... funny and disturbing. "3 is a magic number" by the Goo Goo Dolls was great, and my homestay parent in Germany bought a Nirvana album thinking it was nursery school music (yeah, THAT one).
- PunkRampant, on 03/02/2008, -0/+4I knew Kidz Bop was horrible when I was 11, I only got it because I thought it was a compiliation of the original songs. That was a huge disappointment.
- mrfreeziexp, on 03/01/2008, -6/+21IMO, the first and last songs are the only ones worth listening to.
- XBSHX, on 03/01/2008, -0/+11I liked the Pearl Jam one as well.

- somelifeguard, on 03/02/2008, -2/+1omg. It's like you read my mind on the two worst bands ever made. except for I would also throw in Linkin Park.
- Bologner, on 03/02/2008, -0/+2Do you have any idea how in-*****-sane Flea is on the bass? Like seriously, any idea in the slightest? He's no Jaco Pastorius, or Les Claypool, or even Geddy Lee.
But dude. Do you have ANY idea?
- barnseyboy12, on 03/02/2008, -0/+2Your comparing a band that has rocked for over two decades to one that just twitched in the charts and will be forgotten by the end of the year. Blood Sugar Sex Magik.... 12 Million Albums! and then you compared them to Fallout Boy?! basically your musically retarded.

- peestandingup, on 03/01/2008, -5/+4This has actually been done before in an SNL skit. Adam Sandler played Axl Rose & also the real Sebastian Bach (from Skid Row) were singing a bunch of kids songs to a boy trying to get him to go to sleep.
I award you no digg & may God have mercy on your soul. - quetzzz, on 03/01/2008, -2/+1Dr. Demento, anyone?
- GhostyBoy, on 03/01/2008, -5/+18I can't believe that they made Alanis Morrisette actually sound worse.
Not Nickelback, though. They couldn't make them sound worse. - Lanlost, on 03/01/2008, -1/+3All of them were fairly decent, if not drawn out. It got old after a few of them.
However, the McDonalds one was by far the greatest.. it's lyrics and impression and the way it fit the song were perfect. Really bad ass.
I don't know if the 'artist' made the whole thing but it seems more like this was an mp3 that some no talent kid made a flash video to go with. The audio is way out of the videos league. - outofstep, on 03/01/2008, -1/+1some where I have a tape of Tommy Stinson playing kids songs. I really should find that.
- briguymaine, on 03/02/2008, -1/+3Love the Coors Light neon in the McDonalds window. My kids, girls of 3 and 5, are big fans of Hatebreed, no lie.

- Dumbledorito, on 03/02/2008, -1/+1There's an actually rockin' version of a kids song sung by Stephen Tyler. He does a great version of "I Love Trash" on an album called "Elmopalooza." The rest of the album is songs that I didn't recognize, but this one was played on a local rock station and there was much rejoicing.

i just failed to see the relevance.. - Berkana, on 03/02/2008, -0/+1Not if you actually have a criminal record for breaking in to people's houses and a bunch of drop-outs present trying to re-graduate, along with girls who had a couple of kids before they got out of school. Then the song would sound accurate and nostalgic.
- Koushiro, on 03/02/2008, -0/+7Everyone hates Nickleback, but that's not important right now.

Who pulls the B52s? I thought no one, but clearly good taste goes hand in hand with talent because that was brilliant. Peal Jam was meant to sing Old McDonald... Whoever made this is tapped into some universal truth we can't yet fathom. -
