He turned water into wine
And if he wanted to
He could have turned wheat into marijuana
Or sugar into cocaine
Or vitamin pills into amphetamines - IamTheJman, on 10/18/2009, -13/+240I think I broke the Digg button.
- Imissnaptime, on 10/18/2009, -4/+206Well what did that guy expect? He is going to a carpenter to resolve a medical issue.
- inactive, on 10/18/2009, -6/+200here's another picture on health care thats worth passing around where ever it can do some good...

I wonder what he would say about the healthcare reform issue. - Sil369, on 10/18/2009, -0/+139pre-existing condition

- EarlOfLade, on 10/18/2009, -4/+93The only thing missing from the map, is an overview of countries considering or switching to a US type of insurance based system.... Wait, there are none!
- Elranzer, on 10/18/2009, -5/+92Well, Jesus WAS a very liberal, very "socialist" leader who believed in you paying your taxes (render to Ceasar what is Ceasar's, etc).
- digitalArtform, on 10/18/2009, -1/+87Needs a mullet.
- notthatnoise, on 10/18/2009, -21/+105because the whole thing is made up

- Subduction, on 10/18/2009, -10/+75As an atheist I have to ask:
Is it possible to have a single thread that has some religious component, in this case just the context for a joke, without my fellow atheists taking it as an opportunity to pile on a whole series of condescending and self-important slags towards religion?
Seriously people, we're coming off as bigger dicks than the condescending and self-important religious leaders we supposedly blame for all the world's evils.
Can't we just let the little things pass, or at least have one day a year where we try to give people a reason to join us, rather than make an excuse and move to the other side of the room? - ugacrew, on 10/18/2009, -3/+66Well good for you. Yay!
/s - askantik, on 10/18/2009, -9/+71Yes, ***** this "reform" crap on the news. Please ask your Rep to support HR 676. It already has 90 co-sponsors.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Nationa ... - Evari, on 10/18/2009, -3/+63Why do reddit readers like to troll on Digg?
- AiR1890, on 10/18/2009, -9/+67you sound very high, lol
- AiR1890, on 10/18/2009, -2/+57This kid once told me that Jesus would have been a republican if he were here today, I just thought that was funny.
- AgeofMastery, on 10/18/2009, -2/+56Yeah, because Jesus was all about "I got mine, ***** the rest of you"
- Subduction, on 10/18/2009, -0/+53What I like about political cartons is that everything is labeled, just in case I might get confused as to what something represents.
- digitalArtform, on 10/18/2009, -4/+57The comparison is The American People/Jesus
- Propethic, on 10/18/2009, -1/+53he would be confused and frightened by airplanes
- amirahfusion, on 10/18/2009, -2/+53I always see comments like this and think, who the ***** has time for both digg and reddit? Look pal, lucky you for having even more time to ***** around on the internets than me...but I don't really care that this was on reddit, as I am a digger. In summation: who gives a *****?
- Hrodrik, on 10/18/2009, -6/+55Good luck passing through that eye of the needle.
- zaferk, on 10/18/2009, -2/+48http://macrochan.org/search.php?tags=Jesus
- spiralspirit, on 10/18/2009, -3/+46because as esoteric and spiritual as he was, he also knew what about kindness. Certainly, this is something alien and threatening to insurance companies.
//jewish, so just making it up - Benjigga, on 10/18/2009, -13/+55Ooh that's our silly Jesus.
- valetudomexican, on 10/18/2009, -4/+45I'm all for wizardry if it can fix our broken health care system.
- giveer, on 10/18/2009, -1/+42Well, you're the first person to even mention Obama - Hopefully, it makes you realize that you're seeing what you want to see and not actually seeing things for how they are.
Stop looking for arguments - it just makes you look angry and hateful. - drex8, on 10/18/2009, -1/+41Jesus saying LOL is funnier.
- kaykfrink, on 10/18/2009, -3/+43I wish there was a Commenting Hall of Fame to nominate this to.
- EdgarVerona, on 10/18/2009, -3/+42... and the rightist sheep have come to complain about it.
- Rockyn, on 10/18/2009, -4/+42I like peanuts, especially when they are honey roasted.
- Subduction, on 10/18/2009, -1/+38Gotcha. I will let your statement speak for itself. Thanks.
- EdgarVerona, on 10/18/2009, -0/+36Isn't that the gun they pried from his cold, dead fingers after they took him off the cross? I read it in the Conservative Bible Project, so it must be true.
- Subduction, on 10/18/2009, -1/+37Just curious -- what do you suggest we do with the poor that have serious illness? We have proved that, because of the rate that people contribute (or, more accurately, don't contribute) we can't pay for the healthcare of the poor with alms alone.
So what are your thoughts on how to handle it? - macmcraeart, on 10/18/2009, -11/+46"So your name is jesus too? Cool name. BTW are you a legal citizen of the US? Really? Let me see your papers."
- inactive, on 10/18/2009, -6/+41Yeah - Jesus only *suggested* you take care of other people, so that means it's optional.
/s - flossdaily, on 10/18/2009, -3/+37The only sheep in this debate are the middle and working class people arguing against socialized medicine.
You are arguing against your own interests because you have been lied to by people who are getting hundreds of thousands of dollars from the insurance companies, and you lack either the will or the intelligence to actually work out for yourself which system is better for YOU (hint: IT'S NOT THE PRIVATE INSURANCE SYSTEM).
The leftist people that you claim are sheep, are those "elite" educated folks, the few who actually can afford private insurance, and we're out here arguing on behalf of the masses who don't understand that SOCIALISM is actually good for them in this (and MOST cases).
And why are we arguing on behalf of the ignorant, when we ourselves will be just fine either way? It's because we have a social conscience. We actually think morality dictates that we take care of those less fortunate than ourselves because it is the RIGHT thing to do.
And the thanks we get? We are vilified by ignorant ***** like you. - TrevorBelmont, on 10/18/2009, -4/+38Go back there then.
