Now they're eating the CD up, sorta pisses me off. It's a testament to me that people will love something once it's cool to like it, but generally not before.

I know I sound like some dumb teenager, acting like I can be the only one who likes them, but that's not what I'm saying. I'm just saying now everyone likes them, including people who told me they DIDN'T.. that's all. They're cool to like now. I'm saying in my life, personally, me in my life not on the internet, I have friends who I sent the lonely island's stuff on youtube and even the stuff on SNL and they said "It's not that great" or "meh" or "I don't know what you see in that"..
Now, I put the CD in the car and those same ***** are singing along, meaning they downloaded it once it was popular and listened to it enough to memorize the lyrics when a year ago, they were saying they didn't care for the same ***** songs.
That's called the "I like what's popular" syndrome.. I'm not saying everyone who likes it is guilty of that, I'm saying I know like 2-4 people who are..personally.. in my life.. who I remember specifically each saying they didn't like it a year ago. One of them is the type to be singing along to some silly song, but if a friend gets in the car with us who he doesn't think likes rap or whatever we're singing along to, he'll stop singing and shrug his shoulders like he doesn't know what the music is anymore.
