- WootZoot, on 07/19/2009, -6/+156buried as inaccurate. Marijuana does not cause hallucinations.
- Blikus, on 07/19/2009, -7/+106Turns out weed doesn't make you hallucinate. Who knew?

http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/5011/fixedq.png - thatsgoodkarma, on 07/19/2009, -5/+88I'd like to know more about whatever weed he's smoking that makes him see that.
- kconnors, on 07/19/2009, -3/+58This is a cute comic; but it misinforms people about marijuana and can possibly add to the irrationale hysteria about it. I am sorry to be sounding like a fuddy duddy, but marijuana does not cause one to hallucinate.
- smacksaw, on 07/19/2009, -5/+52Beans, buds...what's the difference when you're a kid, amirite?
I figured it was a pot thing, but I held out hope it was a comic about a kid finding his nuts and getting a boner over it. - Flump5000, on 07/19/2009, -16/+63I dont get it. Did he grow and LSD bush?
- jseres, on 07/19/2009, -1/+25The point was that marijuana isn't a hallucinogenic. It doesn't make you see ***** like giants and golden eggs.
- inactive, on 07/19/2009, -1/+17FUN FACT: Your stories about being high are only interesting to yourself.
- detcade, on 07/19/2009, -1/+15you did
- J6stik, on 07/19/2009, -2/+14Cool story bro.
- inactive, on 07/19/2009, -8/+20been there, done that.
- Servy, on 07/19/2009, -0/+11*Bean there, done that.
- pegisys, on 07/19/2009, -1/+11must be a salvia plant
- yocouchdigga, on 07/19/2009, -2/+11worst. comic. in. forever.
- h4xx3d, on 07/19/2009, -4/+12Not to the extent implied by the comic, but it certainly does cause mild hallucinations.
If you've never tried it, I urge you to watch milkdrop visualizations after smoking some strong bud. Mindblowing - beatbinky79, on 07/20/2009, -0/+8I've got salvia, stramonium and acacia in mind. None of which look like a cannabis plant though...
- chiefbandit2200, on 07/19/2009, -0/+7Agreed. Things like this only contribute to the general public's uninformed and absurd opinions about weed.
- schmidtyboyas, on 07/20/2009, -0/+6maybe he's growing some salvia??
- falco217, on 07/19/2009, -0/+6You didn't see the Marijuana plant sitting right next to it?
- eatsomelead, on 07/19/2009, -3/+9ok that wasn't funny
- DeadPixe1, on 07/20/2009, -0/+5Actually those would be delusions, hallucinations can be any imagined visuals weather you believe it's real or not.
- choopie911, on 07/19/2009, -0/+5How completely irrelevant....
- the8thbit, on 07/19/2009, -0/+5Nope.
- scubachef11, on 07/20/2009, -0/+4The comic artist didn't
- woofer1125, on 07/20/2009, -0/+4amirite sounds like a a type of mineral.
like cummingtinite - elitedw, on 07/19/2009, -1/+5I realized that.
- RiperSnifle, on 07/20/2009, -1/+5I think your weed was laced with stupid.
- inactive, on 07/19/2009, -1/+4Weed can't make you hallucinate but it can make you believe you just did, a few seconds ago, maybe, and possibly forgot, but remembered, somehow.
- Sideshowslob, on 07/20/2009, -0/+3You damn fuddy duddy.
- gozroth, on 07/19/2009, -1/+4You're friends with O've too?! We've been friends ever since I I visited Finland!
/s - noangelcame, on 07/19/2009, -1/+4@h4xx3d
I think weed does help the mind think more abstractly,. and see shapes and patterns that you wouldn't see usually. Like Carl Sagan wrote that he could imagine a fully detailed volkswagon in the pattern of shadows cast on the ceiling by a plant sitting close to a lamp. But,. that's just an enhanced imagination. We don't actually believe these things we're seeing are real.
Hallucinations,. are more like someone who thinks they have spiders on them,. and they believe they are real,. and they are slapping their bodies trying to shake the spiders off. - jemka, on 07/19/2009, -1/+4I wonder if his mom was more embarrassed about the marijuana plant or her rabbit vibrator.
- inactive, on 07/19/2009, -0/+3I think they have weed confused with LSD or something. If he took bong hits he would be too lazy to climb a bean stalk.
- thizzlebot, on 07/19/2009, -0/+2I was so high once i thought i saw a dragon. Then i realized i was just being lazy and my eyes went out of focus.
- Gretnman, on 07/19/2009, -0/+2Not to the extent suggested in the comic.
- cmf2071, on 07/19/2009, -0/+2Jack Herer ??
- lektroluv, on 07/19/2009, -0/+2Will you please send rescue? I think we’re dying.
- the8thbit, on 07/19/2009, -2/+4They're dugg up because they're bad?
Oh god I've been using this site in reverse! - Sideshowslob, on 07/20/2009, -0/+2Doofus.
I haven't used that word in awhile. - crazycraka, on 07/20/2009, -0/+2Both of you are right. Marijuana can and does cause hallucinations, it all depends of the strain, thc, tolerance and how much you smoked and also, if your one of those people that goes with the flow. Or tries to act not high (If you smoke you know what I mean). Of course the hallucinations won't be as vivid and to the extent of other psychedelics. But just because it hasn't happened to you, does not mean its not possible.
- RiperSnifle, on 07/20/2009, -1/+3Winamp represent.
- BC200, on 07/19/2009, -0/+1420, mother *****!
- inactive, on 07/21/2009, -0/+1They're just as big of a piece of ***** as this article. I saw one example, I'm not going to another. Plus, I'm pretty sure the benefits of not doing drugs outweigh the benefits of doing them. So, abovetheinfluence is probably a good thing.
- hellahyphy, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1I used to have some bomb magic mexican jumping beans.
- feelmypimphand, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1"...there was a giant there and he said he wanted to grind my bones..."
No wonder she asked him to take her there. - jardine64, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1*stoner laugh* heheheheheh magic beans hehehehehehe
