No meme, I clearly said "equated". In the early 1990s they dumbed down the SAT scores so non-Asian minorities could do better on the test.
A 1200 on the SAT score when President Bush took it is worth around 1350 out of 1600 from more recent SAT scores (up until they switched to the new 2400 point system).
