just take any mach 3 razor and be careful, ALWAYS do it in the shower and ALWAYS have the water flowing DIRECTLY onto the area of your shaving.
i go clear EVERYTHING and i rarely get cuts or burn or itches or any of that *****.
you've got to be real careful around the base of your dick though, that's the hardest part, you've got to move it to the side and stretch the skin to make it nice and smooth.
the only time i've ever cut my balls was when i used scissors.

It takes time for the hair to become thinner at the end (as hair naturally does), and during that time it's essentially constantly poking at your skin.
There's also ingrown hairs, where the hair doesn't come out of the pore but passes into the skin, causing red, irritated bumps.

A) They're telling you to use the same stroke on your gonads as you do on the pubic hair on the top and sides. Are they INSANE? You need to do some pulling, adjusting, and tightening in the testicular region, otherwise your skin wrinkles and folds in weird ways and BAM! Sac-cuts. There are different strokes you MUST use (see below).
B) They don't talk about the dangers of trimming with an electric razor down in that region, and the proper use of scissors first. You WILL get friction cuts on the more hanging, wrinkling bits if you use an electric without care. The easier way: Pull the hair taut and use scissors to trim in those delicate areas. But you can use an electric if you take great care.
All in all, it give people ideas but not enough information. Here is a guide that teaches you the strokes:
