  • Ghostwo, on 10/17/2009, -7/+421Right at the end/crash (~0:58.5), when it transitions from looking out the driver window to looking out the rear window, the camera pans right fairly quickly, with a barely perceptible 'skip' in the lighting, and no ability to see out of any windows. The big blue truck can also be seen 'jumping backwards' about 3-10 feet between frames, first appearing clearly in the window, the suddenly finding itself a few feet from where it should be, even with the speed of the car. This 'panning motion' is smooth and consistent, beginning just before you even hear the crash, and ending with a clear view of the 'accident' scene.

    They simply filmed the scripted conversation, panned right, then cut camera. Next, they lined up a few cars, added smoke and drove by again, this time panning right at the start of the shot. Splice them together, blend the audio, dub in a stock crashing noise, and viola! Instant 'viral psa' about distracted driving, without having to damage a dozen cars. I'm sure I probably missed a few bugs, but I think I found enough to make a point.
