You know all those old texts seem a lot like old sages poetically using a character in a story (God) to bring out what they've learned from observation about their world. As you would expect from people without the scientific method the reasoning is crude and rudimentary and because they don't know anything about genetics they can't develop a sound reason for the rules that work. The God character gives sense to all the ignorance about the why but it's an empty answer with for only utility a stepping stone for humanity. No snarky comments. No "Will it blend" jokes. These people are definitely not regular diggers.

And to be honest I've worked with the "creator" of these videos on some other productions and he's just as funny in person. Except when you mention the fact that his right leg looks about an inch shorter than his left. He doesn't like that. Not one bit.

- filmdave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0very funny, very well done show. but i don't think we need it on tv. we just need more episodes, just like these, just a few minutes long, continuing as a podcast / youtbe channel. the web is the perfect format for this show. you wouldn't take a good SNL skit and make that it's own show (the full length movies are bad enough). 3-4 minute sketches are perfect.
