- ldsan, on 11/09/2009, -0/+40geo caching in a nut shell...on a t-shirt...on a presumably fit chick...
- TrevorBradley, on 11/10/2009, -0/+35Caching is fun, but don't get too fooled into thinking it's all about wandering around in the woods with high tech gadgetry. GPS will only get you to within 5-30 feet of your target. A good 2/3rds of the work is being exceptionally clever and figuring out where something might be hidden.
We were exceptionally bad at it at first, but started to get the hang of it after 20 caches or so. Best to go with someone else or borrow equipment before taking the plunge. If you do it's addicting and a lot of fun. - Syric, on 11/09/2009, -1/+36False. We also use those magnetic canisters for spare keys that people stick under their cars. These are way more fun to hide and find.
- iamsmooth, on 11/10/2009, -0/+18I actually got to try geocaching last summer, and surprisingly, it's very fun. Found a cache with lottery scratch tickets in it. Fun stuff :D
- Lucas123, on 11/09/2009, -1/+17Never heard of this weird storage technique. Isn't a safe just as good?

I have been 'into it' for about a week now, and it's fun so far. - killOzap, on 11/10/2009, -0/+14http://lmgtfy.com/?q=geocaching
- StripeyMagee, on 11/10/2009, -1/+15I found one while fishing and was like 'WTF'
- thespiff, on 11/10/2009, -0/+11Cool story, bro.
- Tiak, on 11/10/2009, -1/+12Yes.
- Terwa, on 11/10/2009, -0/+10My school once had a bomb threat, and they had to close down many main routes to campus to deal with it, resulting in crazy traffic and many late professors and students. It turned out that the "bomb" was a canister from geocaching. I didn't even know what it was before that situation, but I found it hilarious nonetheless.
- PhoenixAvatar2, on 11/10/2009, -0/+10Who said it was new?
- BREZZZ, on 11/10/2009, -0/+7For mashed potatoes, no.
And I'm talking about the real kind, not instant. - askantik, on 11/10/2009, -0/+7What is your argument...?
- diggerado, on 11/09/2009, -0/+7I got conned into finding one of those once. This shirt is an awesome summary.
- dillonflynn, on 11/10/2009, -1/+8I'd love to use multi-million dollar satellites to sneak a peak at this t-shirt model in the shower, eh? Eh?
- jjremy, on 11/10/2009, -0/+6How does one get started in geocaching anyways?
- Smyley, on 11/10/2009, -0/+5Where do you go caching? All I found in the cache near me was a penis shaped rock and plastic egg.
- DaFox, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4I hate urban hides :( blast!

http://www.zazzle.com/geocache_tshirt-235258585265 ... - Treshnell, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3There's a version of this hobby that has that, but without the GPS, called Letterboxing. It's basically the same thing, but you just solve the posted riddles/clues to search down the cache.
The coolest one I found had me walking all over the campus of a college and ended up with the cache being hidden in the ceiling of the library. - palehorse864, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3Dude, you've got to give me time to guess!
- InternetTuffGuy, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3I found a geocache once too. There was a nice little pocket knife in it, so I took that. I didn't have anything to leave in return, so I came back a few days later and put some nekkid pics of an exgf in the box. If more people left nekkid pics in the boxes, I think geocaching would be a lot more popular.
- SoftlyCaress, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3I was wondering what it was when me and my boyfriend stripeymagee was fishing one day with my little girl and was like what the hell is this ?Well now I know........ To cool think we might try it .
- statuescrumble, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3Did a lot of running and biking in high school, found a couple geocashes. Most of them are really well hidden.
Probably most notable find was a joint. Also found some cool AMERICA stickers. - danp60, on 11/10/2009, -1/+4The shirt is from here...nice model http://www.zazzle.com/geocache_tshirt-235258585265 ...
- schrankage, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3giggity giggity
- asnider, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Seeing as a lot of Diggers aren't on Reddit, it's new to them.
- randomerratum, on 11/11/2009, -0/+2uh- it's not like snipe hunting.
Stop being a dick and go geocaching... you'll like it. - jupiterl, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2You can also buy it here.

- SuicideMouse, on 11/11/2009, -0/+2Weed goes bad.
- teamgwho, on 11/11/2009, -0/+2yes.
- awerbeast, on 11/10/2009, -3/+5im starting a new chapter. stonerhash. im dead serious. hide weed and something to smoke it with your favorite thing right in a really sick place to smoke. email stonerhashlist@gmail.com to join.
- DBeta, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2To add to RAAFStupot: If you have a smart phone of any type, there is almost certainly a geocaching program for it. It is well worth it and can speed up hunting a lot. A phone with Google Maps and a printer is enough to save you a lot of trouble.
- teamgwho, on 11/11/2009, -0/+2I hate micros.
//looks to the sky and shakes fist
//voice of Stephen Colbert
MICROOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSS!!!!! - driftingalong, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1I'm no expect on geocahcing but couldn't cops and other zealots lurk for unsuspecting stoner-cachers? How would you exclude the bad guys?
- lexman098, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1protip: burying your own comment is a pretty obvious giveaway for a troll
- Kaegro, on 11/10/2009, -3/+4I enjoy Mr.BabyMan's funny finds. Keep it going Brother!
- randomerratum, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1that joke was funnier then you acted.
- chadlewis76, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1This was our experience as well. I'm up to 63 finds now. I have a few ready to hide, but it's hard to find good spots that aren't already taken. My area is lousy with caches!
- iamsmooth, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1Canmore, Alberta, Canada. Lots of good trails with hidden caches there :D
- DrummerAndrew, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1Not bad, not all that.
- Fredo685, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1ehh.. she doesn't look fat to me -from what little I can see in the picture.
- teamgwho, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1as a cacher since 2001, I find this hillarious.
and true. - TrevorBradley, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1We were lucky. Our city has a huge amount of parks, many that are fairly well hidden or new.
Sadly the city has caught on and wants to approve all new sites. I see their reasoning, they want caches to be environmentally sensitive, but it makes cache creation a hassle. - TrevorBradley, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1*With* the clues it's still pretty brutal.
We've done about 125 caches and have 2 hidden ourselves, but the first 10 or so were brutal and almost turned us off geocaching altogether.
Definitely start with 1/1 difficulty caches to start with until you get the hang of it. - marm0lade, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1Yea, see, the problem is that mr baby douche uses reddit as a crutch now that he is uber popular and has a legion of wanna-bes following him. He used to put effort into his submission and pull from lots of different places. Now he just goes to the reddit front page and reposts every story on digg and the peons blindly digg him up.
That's not how digg was supposed to work and this ***** ***** is ruining a good thing. - TaintBrush, on 11/10/2009, -1/+2Dugg for boobs.
