Yeah, watching movies on YouTube is kick ass!
?
How about searching for a torrent, like this:
http://btjunkie.org/torrent?do=stat&id=290828a52e388967e1b37e3f58f61a670ac72279a6fc - chimera11, on 10/12/2007, -1/+30Nice post, I wonder why the submitter just didn't post the whole movie on google video instead of dividing it into 10 parts on Youtube
- SkippyDoorknob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+29And just a quick note to Futurama fans - the voice of Bender (John DiMaggio) plays Steve Ballmer in this movie.
- TriZz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+24The MPAA says "All your tubes are belong to us."
- it'll get taken down. - superpike3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19Full Movie is on google video:

- sphinx13, on 10/12/2007, -6/+24Wow. 2 seeds.
- leftfoot, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16I was able to get a torrent of it a few years ago.
@Poster
Nice find! - sxtxixtxcxh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11@marzGorilla: we'll see how long it takes for you to realize you downloaded "pirates *in* silicon's valley"
- BackwardsPanda, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Watched this in school like 5 times, great movie though.
- etruscan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Yeah me too... I must have watched it a half dozen times back in college. I guess I was amazed at how engaging the movie was, considering the subject matter... which I wasn't entirely familiar with (only partly) beforehand.
Favorite line:
Jobs: "We're better than you are. We've got better stuff."
Gates: "You don't get it, do you Steve? That doesn't matter." - PathDaemon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Congrats, you've made my blocklist.
- tekz0r, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12@ theMurdocVolta
I tend to think torrents propagate the idea of open source. We learned to share in kindergarten, why not as adults, too? - drewpost, on 10/12/2007, -6/+15"I downloaded it of LimeWire. It took ten minutes.
Torrenting is so overrated."
Yes and my computer isn't corrupted as yours soon will be running Limewire. - GrayOne, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I ASK FOR ART AND YOU GIVE ME THIS!
Turns computer off.
YOU GUYS ARE NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF CLOCK PUSHING, NO-TALENT, LOSERS!
My favorite and most truthful line:
Steve: Our stuff is better than yours!
Bill: You don't get it Steve, that doesn't matter. - sxtxixtxcxh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8lol... "grime reaper". awesome.
- hohead, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Subtitles you say?
http://www.opensubtitles.org/en/search/imdbid-168122/sublanguageid-all - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Such a great movie. I'd watch it right now if I wasn't doing physics... wait... then why am I on Digg anyway?
- Desslok, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Jeez man, it costs something like $15 on Amazon. watch it on something bigger than a 2" window.
Good movie, btw. Steve Jobs was a dick, Woz was the only really likeable guy of the bunch. Not that Gates was much better than Jobs, but if you had to choose who to hang out with--obsessive Jobs who denies responsibility for his kid or wild drunk man Gates who drives 150mph in the desert--I pick Gates.
Plus he might give me a billion for being buddies. :p - ckohler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5While this movie isn't nearly as accurate as the documentary "Triumph of the Nerds", it is far more enjoyable to watch. The performances by Noah Wyle, Anthony Michael Hall, John Di Maggio, Josh Hopkins and Joey Slotnick are uncanny and reason enough to watch.
And before anyone gets it wrong like the movie, Microsoft never owned any controlling stock in Apple. Of the $150Mil in *non-voting* shares they purchased back in the famous deal of 1997, Microsoft sold all of it (as they were required to) in 2002 and made a profit. They do not own any part of Apple. - kinesis8, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I loved the part when young Bill Gates was thrown in jail
- hsbsitez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Google> Youtube when uploading video over 10 minutes...
- emrikol, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Crack?
- hlynch1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Numbers seem to be growing:-D :-D thanks digg users
- kickarse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4You are my favorite person on digg now...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4uhhhh not a comedy
- Darkhacker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I can't comment on support or hardware quality, but Apple, without question, has a stronger grip on their segment of the market than Microsoft does. It's the size though. If Apple were the size of Microsoft and had 90% market share, do you honestly believe Digg users would support Apple the way they do now? Hell no! You'd have people ranting and raving about monopoly this and that all over the place.
- bacchus101, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I'll join the party......
- finkployd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4But one has to pay for that.
- akira117, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Better torrent link: http://www.mininova.org/tor/68186
Grrr geek swag you win..... ;^( - Gatesophile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Fantastic movie. I bought it the day it was released on DVD. Steve Jobs is a scary, scary man.
We also had to watch it in my computer repair class. Good stuff! - sxtxixtxcxh, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4whoa. i didn't know google calculated MBp/s: http://www.google.com/search?q=700MB%2F10minutes
where are you that you can get 1MB connection through limewire? - Tiak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It's a warner brothers film, so I highly doubt it's in public domain.
- CoreBurn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3At least Google Video you can jump to any point in the video without having to wait for it to load/stream all the way from the beginning. Google should show the YouTube guys how to fix that since they own them now. :-)
- mediaphile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Noah Wyle is a way better Steve Jobs than Steve Jobs.
- kanja42, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I don't know why people use limewire. Frostwire is the exact same thing designed by the same people but it's free. No fake search results.
http://www.frostwire.com - kickarse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Your a dork... ones a documentary and the other is a biographical movie.
- manicdvln, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Funny how supposed Steve Jobs is considered as the savior of the computer industry, even though his tactics are more deplorable than MS.
Apple controls software, hardware and media and they have no anti-trust case against them. I never understood why Apple isn't considered a more threatening monopoly than MS. Not to mention apple has one of the worst tech supports I ever encountered and their hardware quality is more like beta builds that they test on their customers.
If you want a true 1984 style computer industry, keep supporting apple. - mediaphile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2the grime reaper? http://shop.musclecarclub.com/images/grime_reaper_lg.jpg
- mediaphile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2uhhh, huh? so if pirates of silicon valley is also pretty good, which movie are you talking about initially?
- catullus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4
"Yes and my computer isn't corrupted as yours soon will be running Limewire."
um, welcome to 2003: limewire is no longer infected with malware. it's 100% clean and open source. who wants to disagree? - theartofennui, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3www.asemblr.com lets you watch a bunch of tv shows/cartoons online free
- tastypastry, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Dugg for Pirates of Silicon Valley. Great movie, watched it when I was little on TV.
- wyattxp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Add it to your queue at Netflix:
http://www.netflix.com/MovieDisplay?movieid=70036929&trkid=189530&strkid=1142965280_0_0 - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I guess so, I'm watching it now anyway for inspiration. I know I gotta get kicking soon though, I've got psychology work to do as well :)
