- somedevil13, on 11/27/2007, -0/+50From what I understand, that is a pretty accurate representation of everyday life in the 60's.
- glasnostic, on 11/27/2007, -3/+31i for one welcome our new apple-pie-tree overlords.

- ironicsans, on 11/27/2007, -0/+22If you look carefully, you can see one of the munchkins hanging himself.
- bryant, on 11/27/2007, -0/+18Ah, bulimia. Twice the taste, none of the calories.
- xero69, on 11/27/2007, -3/+15With all the chemicals in fast food I'm surprised more people who eat McDonald's don't hallucinate more often.
- subversive1, on 11/27/2007, -0/+11It was modeled after the show H.R. Pufenstuff which brought a lawsuit:
The show was the subject of a successful lawsuit brought by the Kroffts against the fast food restaurant McDonald's, whose McDonaldland characters were found to have infringed the show's copyright. (Sid & Marty Krofft Television Productions, Inc. v. McDonald's Corp., 562 F.2d 1157, decided by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in 1977.)

- betobeto, on 11/27/2007, -0/+10Milk shake volcanoes? Like, far out, man.
- xero69, on 11/27/2007, -0/+10I'm lovin it! Obesity that is...
- zapperdude60, on 11/27/2007, -2/+10don't ask for personal advice on digg. you also look fat.
- JFetch, on 11/27/2007, -0/+8Ronald needs to cut down on the big macs. He's got child bearing hips.
- shinythings, on 11/27/2007, -2/+9The acid makes a good anesthetic when you are getting your triple bypass.
- marines6241, on 11/27/2007, -0/+7Honestly its better than the bogus commercials they have now
- wolvyne, on 11/27/2007, -0/+6How does it go from that to "i'm lovin it"?
ahhh yes... the drugs.
/sarcasm - DESTROYER2118, on 11/28/2007, -0/+6How many times have you ever seen a guy in a bloodied apron slaughtering a cow at McDonald's?
- DESTROYER2118, on 11/28/2007, -0/+5Yeah, because there's no chemicals in every other type of food you buy.
- Ghoztt, on 11/27/2007, -2/+7Notice how everything is portrayed as a plant? Not a guy in a bloodied white apron slaughtering a cow >D
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -1/+6So who else is hungry now?
- baalzebub, on 11/27/2007, -1/+5obviously influenced by "The Wizard of Oz"...
- Dested, on 11/28/2007, -1/+5Step 1: Resurrect old meme
Step 2: ????
Step 3: PROFIT! - mike81890, on 11/27/2007, -0/+3Well... The stomach acids would burn your esophagus, tongue, teeth, mouth, and lips; but other than that I don't really think there would be much of a problem.
- ipodfreek, on 11/27/2007, -0/+3Based on the style of the building in the commercial, and the fact that those characters were in all the commercials when I was a kid.... I'm making the call that it's the '70's, not the '60's.
- Dested, on 11/28/2007, -0/+3It was during a subtle transition from LSD to coke.
- Haapi, on 11/27/2007, -0/+3The real acid flashback commercials were for 7-Up.
- DiskCrasher, on 11/27/2007, -0/+3This is the first fast food commercial that actually made me crave a hamburger!
- depro9, on 11/28/2007, -0/+3Sweet afro Ronald.
- nerdherder, on 11/28/2007, -0/+3I thought the 'I for one welcome our new (blank) overlords' comments died a while back. How long is it going to be before we see the step 3 = profit comments again...?
- dotlizard, on 11/27/2007, -0/+3i was there, it totally was. except that old tape has faded some, the colors were way brighter.
- jeremymccurdy, on 11/27/2007, -4/+6It's a helluva lot better than those "I'm lovin' it" commercials.
- bobartig, on 11/28/2007, -0/+2Anyone notice how small the fry bags were? Man, that's why we're so fat these days.
- DiskCrasher, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2Go watch Super Size Me.
- mismetti, on 11/28/2007, -0/+2Okay, so it's influenced by California bands who were influenced by the Beatles.
- EmoOnParade, on 11/27/2007, -1/+3Woah man, just let me smoke my pot in peace
that was trippy - dallascorbin504, on 11/28/2007, -0/+2McShrooms' anyone?
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 11/27/2007, -1/+3I remember that show.
- stigma15, on 11/28/2007, -0/+2The guys who did H.R. Pufnstuf sued McDonald's for copyright infringement over this and won. Google it and you'll see why.
- anagoge, on 11/28/2007, -0/+2He still is.
- thumperings, on 11/28/2007, -0/+2Beatles has no influence at all on this sound. It was the stateside psychedilic bands that sounded exactly like this. .. UK acid and US acid scenes were universes apart. SO too was east n west coast usa.. NYC had Velvet Underground, Cali had Doorsy surfy crap .. UK had FLoyd. all very different takes.. this particular sound was pure California naivety.
- wishninja, on 11/28/2007, -2/+4That reminds me how much I loved to take LSD. ahh the good old days. ***** war on drugs now all you can get is meth! sucks!
- chucali, on 11/28/2007, -0/+2This is nothing compared to the Mac Tonight commercials, those were ***** scary.
- madman1969, on 11/28/2007, -0/+2Since reading Stephen Kings' IT, whenever I Ronald I keep thinking 'We all float down here ...'
- inactive, on 11/28/2007, -0/+2riding that white horse down the Rabbit hole with a burger and a smile and some crazy clown telling you it's alright to kill everyone ......um mmmmmm the 60's
- inactive, on 11/28/2007, -0/+2It's totally accurate, from what I remember. I remember picking a burger from the hamburger patch but I couldnt finish eating it because it wouldnt stop screaming. I dont know why we don't have hamburger patches anymore. I think it has something to do with global warming. Or maybe Halliburton picked them all dry.
- inactive, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1That's a toss up, I honestly don't know what's worse for your body... that, or letting the Big Mac go thru.
- jimmick, on 11/30/2007, -0/+1I'm lovin' it! Love handles that is...
- brad3378, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1I'd rather let Michael Jackson babysit my children than this creep.
- BomarJr, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1It's a fact! Clowns are responsible for doubling the number of obesity in this country!
- thumperings, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1yea but less
- kokuei, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1This isn't psychedelic. This is your standard "We can appeal to kids because they like going on big adventures" kick. They did the same thing in the 80's only it was animated.
