- sandburn, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10It's more "ja" than "yeah"...

- scooterfish, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6My my, so many people getting their panties in a twist because their accents are exaggerated by this movie.
A little touchy? Ya, you betcha. - joebleaux, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Ha, it is funny that there are people on here from Fargo saying that they do not talk like that. You may not think you do, but believe me, you do. My roommate is from Fargo, and he talks just like the people in that movie. There is really no way for a person to decide on their own that they don't have an accent. I mean, crazy people never think that they are really crazy either, but that isn't really up to them to decide, is it?
- watermelongunn, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4You want to hit a pregnant woman in the face with a bat?
You think the editors of this clip made it because they found the "yeahs" annoying?
Seriously? - lovek, on 10/10/2007, -3/+7I can't begin to tell you how many people DO talk like that and don't know it!
- ticketmack, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Totally absurd, and awesome.

except for best actress and best screenplay, ***** moron. - bang21, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I suppose you think White Bear Lake would have been a better title.
- ekeby, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Not everyone in Minn. has the accent, but many do--trust me. It's even in parts of Wisconsin where I live . . . It's the Scandinavian "ja" . . . .
- mrgreenjeans, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I know how you feel. The first time I saw it was when it left the regular theaters and went to the dollar theaters. I felt queasy afterwords, but it's since become one of my favorites. It also introduced me to the Coen brothers' movies.
- zengonzo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1He did say 'one of'. Which could mean nothing depending on the scale of the list ..
- hiPpymIck, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Fargo ..the movie... funny and good
- Unclickable, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2The original f*cking version http://yuxt.com/alexia/*****

- ItsGus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1That is not how we talk in Minnesota

- brad3378, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Inspiration for a new drinking game.
- swiseman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1WE do talk like that, just not as exaggerated. I didn't think I had an accent until I moved to Seattle. Go to any nursing home and talk to the old folks, sounds like Norsk to me. Relax, it's just a movie.
- shadowofapuddle, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Does anyone have a transcript?
- mishabear, on 03/07/2009, -0/+1Yeah

- squison, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Would've been a lot better if they threw in a Lil Jon YEEEEEEAH or two just for fun.
- jankind, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0*****! I think that beats the Scarface edit by a ***** mile.
- Gregnog, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Oh..Yeahhhh.
- Exinex, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0In the Minneapolis and south MN area you won't hear *much* of the accent, but if you head to northern Minnesota, the accent gets very thick.
- blackacre, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2We'll see you during the next flood.
- diggernaught, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Put a Fork in the Forks
Fargo > All .
HI YAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH - preisler, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0It's impressive how long that Scandinavian accent has lasted.
