- sunburner, on 10/14/2009, -8/+457It's funny because it's not me.
- intekra, on 10/13/2009, -60/+423HAHAHA! Seriously though, it's just water.
- ygeoff419, on 10/13/2009, -16/+355"Brilliant!" Dude was a dick, but I still lmao!
- Krekko, on 10/14/2009, -3/+244Someone did that to my dad and I while cleaning out a sewage drain in the street to prevent flooding. The asshat came around again, my dad stuck out the rake he had as the guy made his way into the puddle, and into the rake as well. Took off his side view mirror, and left a pretty nasty scratch.
- kb29, on 10/14/2009, -15/+252He even sounds like a douche.
- jboitnott, on 10/13/2009, -11/+200Evil as hell... but oh man what fun!
- Chadwick2012, on 10/14/2009, -41/+203"It could have potentially been that as well as splashing them, they ran them over, and then we would have had six or seven people dead at the roadside", he added (Sgt Gary Watson).
He could have potentially saved someone from life threatening dehydration as well. Go ***** yourself Sgt Watson. - PanicAK, on 10/14/2009, -7/+161How long have those kids been using that bus spot? They should know by now not to stand there when it's wet.

not that spectacular imo - Murrabbit, on 10/14/2009, -18/+142They should get the dude for reckless driving at any rate - you should never hit a big puddle going as fast as he was, you risk hydroplaning and losing control of the vehicle.
- DeskFlyer, on 10/14/2009, -3/+127Sorry to comment jack, but the Youtube link got yanked. Mirror:
http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=a9f_1255448875 - xenuxenuts, on 10/14/2009, -7/+111Good. If someone's being that much of a dick, that's the least they deserve.
- palehorse864, on 10/14/2009, -8/+108I didn't know "Inconsiderate driving" was the name of an offense you could be prosecuted for. It sounds like a law Jerry Seinfeld lobbied for to prosecute people who don't give a thank you wave when you let them into traffic.
"Gimme that wave!!.. Now THAT is inconsiderate driving."
It looks like he was speeding, though they may not be able to prove that. I think we're glad this guy doesn't get away with such things, but I do wonder what inconsiderate driving means, and how broadly prosecutors can define it. - fattony89, on 10/14/2009, -12/+104common sense, don't stand next to a puddle on the road, even if it's in front of a bus stop.
- rnawky, on 10/14/2009, -0/+88Video removed for terms of use violation?
What the ***** does YouTube's TOS state no videos of splashing? - zzt711, on 10/14/2009, -0/+73Go Dad! :)
- FunFactor100, on 10/14/2009, -10/+76Yeah....just water...water that can ruin clothes, ruin documents you may have on you, and ruin your day. I think it may be considered assault in some places.
- ygeoff419, on 10/14/2009, -4/+70How about lethal injection for comments that make no sense.
- generalalcazar, on 10/14/2009, -1/+67Cartman?
- xcvbn, on 10/14/2009, -3/+67gutter water
- bubbameister33, on 10/14/2009, -0/+64I fear that every time I walk in the rain.
- Cracken, on 10/14/2009, -0/+60Getting someone one time in a short span of time is one thing. But doing a u-turn to repeat it?
I would have thrown a rock at his windshield. - tpattersonjohn, on 10/14/2009, -7/+60You're on digg. The best you could do would be to send a mean e-mail.
- GusterBear, on 10/14/2009, -4/+57Yeah, they were going a bit fast. They could have splashed the kids at much lower speeds.
There's no need for reckless deuchbaggery when normal deuchebaggery will suffice. - rayskin, on 10/14/2009, -12/+65He looked like he was going really fast, he's lucky he didn't loose control of the vehicle and hit anyone...
- PBRbeer, on 10/14/2009, -16/+67when you hyrdoplane you don't just immediately shoot off the road, you continue in the same direction you were moving, so if he had of in fact hyrdo planed the children would have been in no danger from where the were standing.... have you ever heard of something called physics.
- Surferess, on 10/13/2009, -13/+63Bastard!
- rocknog, on 10/14/2009, -10/+57I read the whole article posted in the video description, and did not see one reference to a lawsuit. You need to stop making retarded comments.
- SpinkickFolly, on 10/14/2009, -1/+48Lame, link is down. Any mirrors?
- norwegianlegion, on 10/14/2009, -12/+54It's the little things in life that make you a bad ass mother *****. Not only did this guy think about shoving a wall of water in some ruddy nosed little seven year olds' faces, but he has apparently made it routine.
There's also a story behind it. The woman driving may be prosecuted for some ***** unfriendly driving charge or something.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/63069 ... - pseudononymist, on 10/14/2009, -1/+42Better commentary might have been:
As a young boy, when you get splashed by a mud puddle on the way to school, you wonder if you should go home and change, but be late for school, or go to school the way you are; dirty and soaking wet. Well, while he tried to decide, I drove by and splashed him again.
- Jack Handey - kooft, on 10/14/2009, -0/+41"***** was awesome. waaah,my documents are wet. waaaah my clothes are wet, oh wait that ***** dries i forgot."
Please fill your bathtub up and throw all your personal items in it which might have been in the backpacks of those children (mp3 players, cell phones, laptops, expensive books, handwritten documents which took days or weeks to prepare, etc). Also, don't forget to post this video on youtube so we can all laugh at you.
I bet you won't do it though. Why? Because you don't want all of your stuff ruined. I'll preemptively call you a hypocrite because I'm that confident you are. - itlnstln, on 10/14/2009, -1/+41^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^
This story... Right Here. Is Awesome - bigsteve, on 10/14/2009, -6/+45I hate this argument. Just because worse ***** is happening doesn't mean you can let less bad ***** slide.
- dakbonsa, on 10/14/2009, -2/+37This is what the law says:
=================================================
Firstly, the way he or she drives falls far below what would be expected of a competent and careful driver, and secondly it would be obvious to a competent and careful driver that driving in that way would be dangerous.
There are two forms of the careless and inconsiderate driving offences:
# Driving without due care and attention, ie the motorist did not show the proper care and attention of a reasonable, competent and prudent driver;
# And driving without reasonable consideration for other road users. The evidence must show that other road users were inconvenienced by the inconsiderate driving of the defendant.
Speeding, using a mobile phone, reading a map, eating, drink-driving, plus many others incidents, could all be considered as dangerous and/or careless driving.

Don't the cops pull you over for swerving too much in the US too? - 12Hundred, on 10/14/2009, -12/+46Pork Chop Sandwiches!
- intekra, on 10/14/2009, -9/+43Now that you made it to sixth grade, maybe you've learned not to stand on the curb parallel to a large puddle of water.
- Roobix, on 10/14/2009, -1/+33http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On1drhgxGWU
Go for it. - shawnfromnh, on 10/14/2009, -3/+35I had that happen when I was younger walking down the street. What they didn't realize was that for the pricks that did that on purpose I had small rocks in my pocket and one in my hand. It's amazing how fast they stop when you hit there cars with a good throw. I just would run laughing my ass off. Getting me soaked on purpose is all the reason I need to dent, scratch, or even break a rear window. It's their own fault since as in nature every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Maybe they laughed when I got wet and maybe I laughed when I made a perfect throw. Maybe I was mad when I got soaked and they messed up my clothes and maybe they were mad when I hit their vehicle and messed up the paint. I guess we're even now. :) - waterboy1628, on 10/14/2009, -6/+38what a bloody wanker
- KingChango, on 10/14/2009, -4/+35OH ***** GET THE ***** OUTTA HERE!!! GET THE ***** OUTTA HERE YOU STUPID IDIOT! *****, WE'RE ALL DEAD.....damn that smelled good.
- spyd3rweb, on 10/14/2009, -3/+34The british accent just makes it that much better.
- palehorse864, on 10/14/2009, -9/+39Sgt Watson is right Chadwick. I think Chadwick is too lenient though. It could also have potentially been that as well as splashing them, the incident could make him break into incessant laughter which causes him to veer off the road, striking three nuns before crashing into an oprhanage, and then slightly startling a kitten and a puppy. With any luck though, he would just strike a fruit stand and someone would get it on film.
It's important to consider the could haves and what ifs. - Mayday408, on 10/14/2009, -6/+35If you read the article in the youtube link, they state the kids 'wanted to be splashed' and they asked for it.
I personally go both ways. If he didn't sound so evil doing it and was laughing with them, very believable. However, it's also very believable by what the video shows is a ***** being an *****.
In any case, It's not that big of a deal. Kids love to splash and get wet anyways. - kimbja98, on 10/14/2009, -2/+29I didn't realise road water was so clean where you come from. It's just here, mud, oil, bacteria and anything else that was rotting there is splashed over people when you do this.
It's also just a douche-bag thing to do! - joshmoney, on 10/14/2009, -0/+25"Police said the driver had voluntarily contacted them and may be prosecuted. Miss Callard, 29, said she only did it because the children were enjoying it. ...Miss Callard, a professional carer said that she had contacted the police herself after realising the furore the video had caused, and was due to give a statement to them...
She said that after driving on, they decided to go back and splash them, and recorded it because it was ~quite unusual. "They were having fun in the bad weather," she said. "The fun factor is mostly gone from life these days but they were playing in puddles, like kids always have done." If the kids weren't saying, 'Splash me, splash me,' I certainly wouldn't have done it."
- If true then that puts a completely different spin on the story. Honestly it's not so hard to believe that the kids were actually waiting to be splashed just like they do at the water rides at Six Flags or Busch Gardens, but who knows... - Larsonal777, on 10/14/2009, -3/+28sir, heres your ticket for inconsiderate driving and here's your plaque for the best commentary ever.
- SoCalCove, on 10/14/2009, -11/+34What a horrible and cruel thing to do...on the other hand, damn he nailed them good!
(thumbs up)
Shouldnt the kids know to stay away from the curb thats going to spray like that?
Whats more scary is the fact you can be prosecuted for being a non threatening (spraying water by a passing car doesnt count seriously) action. So if someone thinks I cut them off or think I sprayed water on them they can get me arrested? NOW THAT is scary -
