- Conway, on 10/12/2007, -4/+103NSFW!! Come on people! I can't have my boss catch me watching doggy sex.
- thumbup, on 10/12/2007, -11/+36Best commercial of all time in my opinion.
- TheAstronomer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22Totally thought this was about the bounty hunter...
- tristanbethe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20I can imagine the next scene of that commercial: about 20 other cars without those tires smash right into the hero's car... But hey the dog is still alive!
- abdeviation, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18All those cars behind that one must've been using bridgestone too.
great commercial though :-) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16They were doing it Missionary Style! That was a bit of irony.
- Culled, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15Creativity at its finest? Sure it's a funny commercial but are you really equating it to the highest creative achievements from humanity's history?
- u8myfoood, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12was this another one of Paris Hilton's dogs?
- MikeOSX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Funny how the dogs were doing it "human style"!
- DaneTrain, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7I'd say it's at least one of the top 3 creative achievements of the past century.
- Xyleene, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I can vouch first hand that they most definitely do! I had a very similar thing happen to me.. but I ended up in a snowbank instead of having bridgestone tires. There's an old dog near my house that was old and had boils all over it and bad arthritis.. It deliberately walked in front of my truck as I approached him and he damn well knew I was coming. I just barely missed him. I felt bad for him, but worse for my truck that was buried 6 feet into a snowbank.
Sounds outlandish.. but whatever, I'm tellin' ya, it happened! - mwhoh, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8Thinking? Or hoping?
- ScottDaMan, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7lol. Just lol
- iShouldveKnown, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4The fact of the matter is that the commercial was posted to Digg because it left an impression, regardless of product placement. Other Diggers loved it, including myself.
And the fact that you put as much thought into your reply to write your opinion about it is exactly the reason why the production house succeeded with this commercial.
Bridgestone + Digg > Koookie - Urusai, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Yeah, I hate dogs, I'm buying Firestones.
- toothpot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That just carved it in stone. Never buying anything from Bridgestone.
- iShouldveKnown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1quit trying so hard.
- Phoenixfury, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm trying to figure out how to post my comment with out it coming off as a rant. With that said, I'll just say I wish we had commercials like this in the US. This commercial was great! I just wish my fellow American's weren't so sensitive about commercials like this one. Seriously, if we had commercials like this, I'd never find time to get through all of my shows.. That is because I'd actually be watching the commercials! That must be such a problem for the Europeans. (sarcasm) :)
- destro713, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2A commercial posted to Digg is only spam if the viewer is foolish enough to take nothing away from it except a product logo. I'd like to think that if someone voluntarily checks out a commercial because the commercial itself (NOT the product being advertised) was recommended to them, that person would be able to judge the commercial as the work of whatever production house created it, and not as a mere billboard. The Bill Hicks perspective is important because the world needs people like him to balance out the perspective of the truly evil bigwigs who reap the benefits of the ad industry, but the people who MAKE these ads -- the production crews and staffs who actually produce them -- are most likely filmmakers who know the ad industry is a sea of scum but sometimes have to wade through it reluctantly, so they can pay their rent.
So it's possible to enjoy that commercial and yet have no desire to buy a set of tires. - swanny9, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1All three dogs are priceless. Here is a pug eating corn

- DogGunn, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1That's a horrible ad.

- Star77, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This was the funniest video I have seen so far on DiGG. LOVED IT. LOVED IT. LOVED IT.
- 405994, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Except when the guy behind the great brakes doesn't have Bridgestone, and plows right into him, thus transferring his horsepower to the brakes, and causing him to fly forward at seventy-something miles an hour.
- merripen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1If suicide jokes ever stop being funny, I'll have to kill myself.
- TimeIsTissue, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I'm guessing BridgeStone is the brakes of a car?
- Appox, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1So well done. I wish more adverts were as good as this.
- wonboodoo, on 10/12/2007, -6/+5It could have been improved by having the dog look up into the car and see a new soul-mate in the back seat.
- holydope, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1the best
- theoristbj, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3So...the Lab was gay and the bulldog was his lover?
- Frankie4Fingers, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Funny commercial. It kind of makes you wonder whether dogs think of things like this? I would wager not.
- martin308, on 10/30/2007, -3/+1That's exactly what I was thinking
- litolist, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2phew...I thought you meant Dog the Bounty Hunter. :-/
- jamez, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1everyone bury (i watched it and omg that comedian is the devil spawn and lacks a certain requirement in the standup world....humor)

bury - axisofphilippe, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Amazing commercial. Incredibly creative.
- Crizack, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1That dog should move to China.
- CasualAffair, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1that was great ;]
- zeeneo, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3Strange. Today I was wondering if animals commit suicide. If anyone else is interested:
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=%22do+animals+commit+suicide%22 - TequilaCollins, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1Depressing :-(
- everfresh59, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2Simply well done.....creativity at it's finest...
- z00k, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2... Just ... Wow.
I think that explains the video pretty well. - Koookie, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1The following video will make you understand why this video, and all the other video advertisments on Digg are not funny:
http://digg.com/videos/comedy/Bill_Hicks_on_Marketing_and_Advertising
I hate to rant like this, because it just sounds so lame, but I buried this as spam. Just check the above video for something positive about this subject. - reevolutn, on 10/12/2007, -9/+1scottnofriends teheehehee
- sally00, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1It keeps pausing!!!!!
- xabstract, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1i will dampen the amount of people who are tempted to say this in their comment...so I'll just say it:
!!!!!DOGGY STYLE!!!!! - luciferx, on 10/12/2007, -12/+2I'm usually not one to mention the age of something, but hasn't this typically been seen thousands of times by the majority of the internet's users?
