- coolcole93, on 06/28/2009, -0/+83...unless you do it work from a work computer.
- ftc08, on 06/28/2009, -1/+81I don't go to work for the money. I go to work because sitting around on digg all day doesn't pay.
- badqat, on 06/28/2009, -0/+71I've worked at employers that had meetings to schedule meetings. That's double productive, right?
- coolcole93, on 06/28/2009, -0/+70Wow, reading it back that sentence made no ***** sense. Meh, I'm sure you all know what I meant.
- AmnesiacJack, on 06/28/2009, -1/+53I thought I went to get away from the wife and kids.
- greenlight2001, on 06/28/2009, -1/+50Oddly, the first time I read it it made complete sense and I laughed. Then re-read it and caught the error.
- Vanderkeif, on 06/28/2009, -0/+47I'm only in it for the parking.
- wonkavsn, on 06/28/2009, -1/+45hahaha cats can't talk!!!
- newman8r, on 06/27/2009, -5/+47You know, it might actually be kind of fun to see what would happen if Dilbert was fired and became a bum... and Dogbert was his stereotypical bum-dog
- TheMachine1, on 06/28/2009, -0/+41Dilbert would invent some revolutionary homeless shelter and Dogbert would use the homeless issue to raise large sums of money for his evil plans.
- wjappe, on 06/27/2009, -1/+27Meetings and training, wonderfully productive use of time.
- ceredron, on 06/28/2009, -1/+24holy *****, I didn't even notice.
- KokomoNYC, on 06/28/2009, -0/+20Settle down, Baldy.
- stevealford, on 06/28/2009, -0/+15The funny lies in the fact that Wally is a *****-up bastard and doesn't come to work to get paid, he comes to work strictly for the hilarity of stupid, meaningless, useless meetings that try to motivate you to come to work.
- inactive, on 06/28/2009, -1/+14Holy crap I didn't notice it until I reread it a few times.
That's a mischievous error :O - JoeHague, on 06/28/2009, -2/+14I can see Dilbert everyday in almost every newspaper in the country, when I'm on Digg I want to see cartoons that suck/
- judahhertz, on 06/28/2009, -1/+11Dilbert is great, very select humor.
- jmhyer51, on 06/28/2009, -0/+10Yes, YOU read Dilbert regularly, therefore the same must apply to the rest of the world.
- larrimer7, on 06/28/2009, -0/+9Your name is my reply
- jawagas, on 06/28/2009, -0/+9Then later in the week when Dilbert tries to help his Hobo-Brethren, Dogbert would suely find a simple mischievous way to package the homeless and sale them for large profit-gains.
- CoD4, on 06/28/2009, -0/+7lawlz, then you're in the wrong company
- fragMasterFlash, on 06/28/2009, -2/+9I love the fact that I went from working in a department with 100+ developers and constant meetings to a department with only 12 people and zero meetings. Too bad it took six months of joblessness to find such an accommodating work environment.
- slashdotordigg, on 06/28/2009, -0/+7I'm only in for the complement coffee.
- falconear, on 06/28/2009, -0/+6Arentpatly as lnog as the frist and lsat lteters of a wrod are the smae the hmuan barin is degsnied to be albe to raed tehm jsut fnie. Go figure. :)
- Tobey, on 06/28/2009, -0/+5Uh, I'd say just about all of the content on digg has already been read outside of digg by someone at some point. That's kind of how it works... You didn't have to click the link.
- PsychoBrat, on 06/28/2009, -0/+5Bonus points for cat avatar; Catbert approves.
- antdude, on 06/28/2009, -0/+4Wasn't there a story when he was fired/laid off a few years ago?
- humanerror, on 06/28/2009, -0/+4It's been going through a bit of a golden age lately. Check the comics for the last 6 to 12 months. Scott Adams has really been outdoing himself.
- FreckleEars, on 06/28/2009, -1/+5Most of us have read so many articles that we just glimpse at all of the words in a sentence, then we subconsciously put them together in the order we find the easiest to read in. When I read that at a normal pace I don't see the extra work because it gave nothing to the sentence. Speed reading FTW!
The princlpe is eaxctlly the same as you benig able to read this setnence. - RickoSicko, on 06/28/2009, -0/+4I work to refill my bottle with company water, daily.
- tgc1, on 06/28/2009, -0/+3I'm only in it for the periodic free birthday cake.
- red0711, on 06/28/2009, -0/+3And that is exactly what I do, read digg all day at work and get pay!
- Llanowar, on 06/28/2009, -2/+5It seems to be paying me quite well.
- ichbeineinrcg, on 06/28/2009, -0/+2Fired for using company property for personal gain, or something. I think it was just last year at the most.
- deaftly, on 06/28/2009, -5/+7Its funny because its.... wait no, its not funny at all.
- yujie, on 06/28/2009, -1/+3I goto work to relax from non paying work weekends
- linagee, on 06/28/2009, -0/+2Unless you work on weekends.
- tgc1, on 06/28/2009, -0/+2That's going to be phased out in q3 when the company decides to downsize... again.
- JT114881, on 06/28/2009, -1/+2Which obviously he doesn't.
- ichbeineinrcg, on 06/28/2009, -0/+1Exactly.
- CoreyTamas, on 06/28/2009, -0/+1I thought it might be something unusual.
No matter. If everyone else likes seeing Dilbert on Digg then.. who am I to argue? - falconear, on 06/28/2009, -0/+1You have one of those pesky jobs where you have to do stuff, don't you? My job is getting people off the phone with their imbecilic tech questions as soon as possible so I can go back to looking at Digg. Of course, it would be different if this wasn't a work study job, which goes to the "Why You Should Never Graduate from College" argument, but that's a different topic. ;)
- walrusonion, on 06/28/2009, -0/+1meh.
- Atario, on 07/12/2009, -0/+1This can't happen. Dogbert would intervene to preserve his meal ticket.
- isny, on 06/28/2009, -0/+1O RLY?
- fish93, on 06/28/2009, -1/+2I'm trying to convince myself that this is funny, but I can't.
- putz85er, on 06/28/2009, -0/+0Lame cakes! Meh
- larrimer7, on 06/28/2009, -2/+2NOOOOO somebody posted that comment :-(
