If everyone diggs everything they might have a fleeting interest in, then it taints the integrity of the system. It's no longer what's most popular, because unless everyone who diggs something and goes back to it later, only to find out they don't like, it undiggs that item, then the digg counts are inflated. And even then, it only fixes it for people who like to go back and look at older stories. To me, the appeal is to see what is becoming popular, and how quickly it's becoming popular. Under your philosophy, what would end up happening is that I see what MIGHT be popular, and how quickly people are saying "I MIGHT like this."

I was pointing two things by saying this: Firsly, it's really pointless to discuss grammar and spelling in such a forum anyway. Secondly, most people who attempt to get grammar correct in the first place usually get it wrong. This is because people don't often carefully construct their language. It says nothing about their intellect, it just means that they're lazy about grammar (like me).
Also, I said nothing about penises.
