The woman's response, a typical response for the simple head turn that usually transpires, and the casual ribbing that follows simultaneously excuses and exploits the quick male reaction to beautiful women. The humor lies in the juxtaposition between the blatant nature of this response to the usual minimization that occurs after such a dynamic transpires.
