- cbrunet, on 01/23/2008, -9/+209Haven't the emo kids suffered enough? Its hard enough to live when nobody understands you, now this?
- calisto625, on 01/23/2008, -3/+186I'm offended. Seriously. I'm gonna write a song about it.
- ani625, on 01/23/2008, -4/+131Only search is broken eh?
- loveforkarma, on 01/23/2008, -3/+127What about promiscuous middle school girls.
- korhojoa, on 01/23/2008, -3/+75I think the problem here isn't the fact that it didn't find a "stupid emo kid", but the fact that the author of this picture was trying to "find a friend".
- bxblox, on 01/23/2008, -1/+62Everyone remembers being in the 7th grade and the girl that thought she was oh so mature because she had a 30 year old boyfriend lol...... bam herpes
- pheedback, on 01/23/2008, -4/+54Search does work on myspace. Here is proof.
http://wii10do.com/myspace_search.jpg - richmessenger, on 01/23/2008, -4/+50Anyone else remember the stop emo hair video using only myspace pics?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqNv_anrAOQ - cbrunet, on 01/23/2008, -1/+38Yes, yes it was. Apparently my sarcasm has been lost amongst the inter-tubes.
- josefresco, on 01/23/2008, -7/+40MySpace is so 3 years ago.
- rogerbly, on 01/23/2008, -4/+32so much hate on digg these days. average age on myspace = 12, average age on digg = 14.
- hansk, on 01/23/2008, -1/+28so wrong...but so RIGHT!
- Syric, on 01/23/2008, -1/+27How many emo kids does one REALLY see on myspace? In my opinion, the true infestation consists of teenybopping sluts.
- diggstown, on 01/23/2008, -8/+31That many diggs for such a contrived graphic?
- MBarnwell, on 01/23/2008, -3/+26I'm Chris Hansen, take a seat
- Shawn4168, on 01/23/2008, -1/+24To say that MySpace has an "infestation" is like saying that the sewer has an infestation of rats.
- repairman, on 01/23/2008, -1/+22It's all part of Tom's master plan.
- NotOptium, on 01/23/2008, -3/+24I just realized in reading the comments for that video, hating on "emos" is a pretty popular trend these days. It seems a little backwards that the biggest problem people seem to have with these people is that they're following a silly trend. Hating on a certain trend because it's popular to hate on it is just as bad as the original trend imo. I know a few people who dress "emo" or "scene" and I dislike most of them. But I know another couple kids who dress the same way who are pretty chill. I may think the trend is ridiculous and silly, but I think this about all fashion trends. And just because I don't subscribe to a particular trend doesn't mean everyone who does is a tool. Judge a person on the content of their character. Some of the kids in that video look like douchebags (like the kid holding up his shirt a little bit to show off his low pants), but some of them look like they just have silly haircuts. And really, who gives a *****?
Anyway, feel free to bury me now. /rant - loveforkarma, on 01/23/2008, -1/+20And than you run into some time later and never remember being that grossed out in a while.
- colmatteus, on 01/23/2008, -0/+17How could this happen to meeeee...
- Digg413, on 01/23/2008, -2/+19How about "girls with low self-esteem" (Arrested Development)
- FloppyLlamaDigg, on 01/23/2008, -5/+20What has happened to digg? :(
It seems that in the last month or two, the amount of crap on the front page has tripled. What gives? - rreadysetno, on 01/23/2008, -2/+17No, you're Jade10145.
- Underoath586, on 01/23/2008, -1/+14That, was a waste of a perfectly good explanation.
- Jade10145, on 01/23/2008, -2/+15Ahhh I see you've played this game before.
- 80hd, on 01/23/2008, -0/+11Actual or mental age?
- IHaveIssues, on 01/23/2008, -0/+11OMG the music, or whatever that was..."the earmuffs they do nothing!"
- elbergel, on 01/23/2008, -5/+16Perez Hilton called, she (he?) wants her(his?) lame use of MSpaint schtick back.
- Jade10145, on 01/23/2008, -0/+10I think the search function is broken. My search for "popularity attention whore with pictures of herself half naked" failed to turn up anything. Maybe I shouldn't use so many terms in the search.
- Carsonauto, on 01/23/2008, -1/+11Thats a good deal!
- typicalusername, on 01/23/2008, -3/+12***** dude, I recognized it and dug you up!
- bouche, on 01/23/2008, -4/+13To all you idiots who click digg on ***** like this... "Thanks for ruining the quality of digg's main page stories !!! "
- NJank, on 01/23/2008, -4/+13hmmm... yeah, goth's really had it figured out, not like emo kids these days. no one understands me! I'm so dark and hurty inside! why won't anyone try to see the real me! waaah.
heh.
Sounds about the same to me. Goths just latched onto 80's era flamboyance. It's cute to watch now. You and emo's are one and the same. deal with it. You are in no way superior. You had face paint and makeup, they have myspace. - mattfugitive, on 01/23/2008, -6/+14And with that... somewhere in the world, and emo kid is crying.
- inactive, on 01/23/2008, -0/+8I always thought it was 50-50.
- chaos7, on 01/23/2008, -2/+9the person who made that pic is out of style and the girls he wants on myspace aren't interested in him. he's mad, feels insecure, so he makes pictures like that to vent..instead of improving himself. people similar to him will digg this article, read this and digg me down.
- tdogg241, on 01/23/2008, -1/+8So you're criticizing kids for following a fashion trend and lifestyle that's been tacked on to a style of music, even though you did exactly the same when you were in high school? You're going to be one of those bitter old people that just doesn't understand "those damn kids these days."
As an outsider of pretty much any/all fasion trends associated with music, I have news for you: emo kids are equally ridiculous as goth kids, rudeboys, mods, and punks if only because they all try to be different by being sheep. - KingGorilla, on 01/23/2008, -0/+6I think we should all just shave our heads, have a barcode on the back of our necks and register ourselves to the great government database.
- peaceninja, on 01/23/2008, -2/+8that was a pleasant 4 minute explanation of this image: http://images.ebaumsworld.com/2007/09/emofag3er.jp ...
- mt4055, on 01/23/2008, -0/+5more gay than what?
- 80hd, on 01/23/2008, -0/+5Think about this. These people ALL use the same stock defense of "you just hate people who aren't like you."
They encourage difference but the whole ***** group thinks precisely the same way - and ANY individual in the world that sees a problem with this hypocrisy is less of a person for it?
I don't call people out but here's the thing. If you go out of your way to be odd, I'm going to assume you are either a maladjusted attention whore, or just truly are a loose screw in society. Neither is necessarily a good position if you have upward plans for life... - bxblox, on 01/23/2008, -4/+9haha, these kids will grow up to be the hipsters living off their trust fund in lofts all over nyc. no jobs, no lives, no futures, sitting in starbucks all day, buying the latest apple product.........
- KingGorilla, on 01/23/2008, -0/+5People love crap
- mt4055, on 01/23/2008, -0/+5Are you are only finding "tennybopping sluts" because, maybe, that is what you are searching for?
- Enfecktion, on 01/23/2008, -1/+5i fail to see the issue here.
- Jade10145, on 01/23/2008, -2/+6Hello, my name is Mr. Obvious, perhaps you've never met me.
- uptwolait, on 01/23/2008, -0/+4Google it instead, without the quotes. First hit is hilarious.
- dksupremacy, on 01/23/2008, -5/+9I wish my lawn was emo, so then it would cut itself.
- jbird32275, on 01/23/2008, -1/+5God bless that jailbait
- shmatt, on 01/23/2008, -1/+5Goth and emo are both descendants of the PUNK and hardcore scenes of the late 70's and 80s. Neither of them are original.
