Danger Bird's Ride watch!
youtube.com — I was stopped at a light on my way to work this morning and heard a bird chirping outside of my rear passenger window. I figured it would fly off when I started driving, but it turns out I was wrong...

- PolarPyro, on 10/11/2007, -5/+4FOOL! it's gipsy!
- jomdahl, on 10/11/2007, -3/+11I had a hard time capturing the essence of Danger Bird...it was either the Gipsy Kings or KRS ONE's "Rapture". I guess I could always remix it :)
- alamandrax, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6I'd have kept driving to see how long the bird hung on. ***** the job (if I had one). The bird needs a ride.
He was also, clearly signalling a right turn. Shame you didn't take it.

- nosajman, on 10/11/2007, -31/+6This bird isn't real, it's a military spy bird. I had one in a nest in my tree outside for 3 weeks! He finally took off. His brothers would come and visit him. Like, "hey brother you still chillin in the nest dur dur dur dur! I hope he made it.
- tyywebb, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10What?
- DeskFlyer, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Lay off the crack, dude.
- noonzie, on 10/11/2007, -1/+20Going south for the winter the easy way.
- professorChaos, on 10/11/2007, -6/+1his toe was probably caught in the window
- shorty28898, on 10/11/2007, -5/+0must of been stuck.
- FeartheKnighted, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4That is one kickass bird.
- wisam, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6I only see three comments yet it says there's 6 comments. All threads are expanded. Is the comment system broken?
- jennamalia, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11Hitchhiker bird says "Thanks for the ride, man!"
- mindsnare, on 10/11/2007, -6/+2is that it's leg sticking out of the Window to the left? it looks like it's leg is stuck.
Usually the only time birds sit still any do nothing is when they are in shock, :( poor thing. - airwalkery2k, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8I'm surprised at the fact that a bird was riding a car, but even more surprised the driver would videotape the bird and post it on Youtube. In other words, bravo!
- Figgueroa, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0Dugg just for the song.
- Majorkerina, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7He's not stuck. He moved both feet freely in the video. I don't know why he stays there. That is one weird bird. The originator of the video also said he flew away with no trouble when he went over to check on him.
- weebit, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2I think the bird was more in danger than anything else. One bad slip of the foot could of had the bird under a wheel.
- eggo, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3You are aware that birds can fly, right?
- davidsmero, on 10/11/2007, -5/+3Lazy Mexican birds...
- wisam, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Comments keep counting but they don't show up.

- wastegas, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Lazy bird. :)
- nuromantic, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2i very much question why you had a video camera lying around for this to be captured,
but i'm glad you did- jomdahl, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Ha ha - it was actually my digital camera - a Canon SD750 - takes really nice video.
- hippykiller, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9You know for filming while driving he did a very good job. I mean I have seen so many videos of people filming things while standing still and they where not able to hold the camera strait.
- 10pins, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11should have rolled down the window and let him ride shotgun!
- san1ty, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3Found this via thoof.com. Are you sure the bird didn't have a claw stuck between the door and the window or something?
- Filippo, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12Danger bird? Danger driver I say! How the hell were you driving and keeping the bird on frame?
- jomdahl, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2I've got long arms and there was no traffic.
- coolian, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1It's a bird!
It's a pla- oh wait. - gadgetboy32, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11It's a baby mockingbird. They usually fall off trees or bushes to learn how to fly, but this landed on the edge of the car window. That's why it didn't want to fly off.
http://www.centralpets.com/animals/birds/songbirds/sbd5911.html- Parker307, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1the bill is too cone shaped. I think it's a baby/fledging cowbird
- AhuraMazda, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1guy must be one hell of a chick magnate
- DesignNerd, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Well. at least the bird got to work on time.
- JenadaeXX, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0Whats the highest speed you guys reached?
- jomdahl, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I think we got up to about 35 mph...I tried to keep it on the slow side so it's feathers didn't get messed up. :)
- Krovvy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4It looked like it may have been hurt. :|
- ma11man, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Dugg for calling him a "Danger Bird". Made me laugh :)
- f8pc, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6From Youtube comments: It's a baby mockingbird. They usually fall off trees or bushes to learn how to fly, but this landed on the edge of the car window. That's why it didn't want to fly off.
- dbug, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I hope that is not actually true, because it would turn an awesome video into a very sad video :(
- rmeddy, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1Its a baby bird .that's why it didn't flew off it was afraid. DUGG DOWN FOR CRUELTY.
- jomdahl, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Didn't seem to scared at the end of the video when he was steering with his wings. :)
- psygnisfive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Well honestly, why would the bird care that the car was moving. The thing can fly, after all. "Oh no! I fell! Wish I could FLY."
- toescs, on 10/11/2007, -5/+0It has its foot stuck in the window...
- alex.will, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Doc just told him the clocks were set 25 minutes slow, and he's late for school!
- eggo, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2That Doc character is nothing but trouble!
- Flon, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Thats commitment, all that just to ***** on his car
- jomdahl, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0And ***** on the car he did...all over the side.
- Erik1, on 10/11/2007, -6/+1His legs were stuck in the window.
- tech10171968, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3For the last time, HIS FEET WERE NOT STUCK!!! Look at rhe video again. From 1:12 to 1:18 it's pretty damned obvious that not only were his feet NOT stuck but it also had full use of both its wings. The bird could have left any time it wanted.
- jomdahl, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1THANK YOU TECH! I swear the bird was never stuck and he flew away the second I got out of the car and came around to the passenger side to take a picture.

- ohsin, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1At first i thought birds feet are stuck or something.
- CodyZ, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Danger Bird is Badass.
- andergriff, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Wrong music. Should have used Steppenwolf...Born to be Wild!!!
- klgoodall, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0thought he'd take the express route. that's awesome. much easier! it looks like he might have had an injured wing or something.
- rodgerdodger5, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3I agree it is fledgling mocking bird. Should have tamed him and taught him to drive. Or possibly taught to kill plastic owls. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-371723492862948768
- chrisdancy, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1I think I love danger bird!
- apo11o, on 10/11/2007, -3/+0sir, mai foot are stuck
- Parker307, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2It's a baby/fledging cowbird. Too gray overall for a mockingbird plus the bill is somewhat cone shaped.
This bird is screwed unless a human decided to help.- dbug, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1:(
- antdude, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I wonder what happens if the driver hit the brake hard, turn fast, hit a bump hard, etc.
- Cloud7654, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1All the fun and speed of flying, but without the hard work. Smart bird.
