- lensman00, on 06/09/2009, -4/+474Here in Portland we're still hung over from that Bon Voyage party. I woke up the next morning in the back of a pickup truck and my hand smelled kind of funny for a day or two.
Hope you enjoy your CD. - angrywalls, on 06/08/2009, -4/+447Must... resist urge.. to visit website!
- GoKings, on 06/09/2009, -15/+273They can afford to take that much time with each shipment because nobody buys CD's anymore.
- AtomicTheory, on 06/09/2009, -25/+249That's so fake. There's no way that they would go to all that trouble just for selling 1 compact disc.
Think about it. Jeese. - jmill987, on 06/09/2009, -1/+168Cdbaby makes tons of jokes all throughout the buying and selling process, it's awesome. They'll put your music on Itunes and Amazon for cheap, too.
- eddyb123, on 06/09/2009, -3/+157How is CDBabby formed? How Drive get pragneant?
- Dabaum, on 06/09/2009, -9/+152Do you idiots need "/s"on everything?
- Strongo, on 06/09/2009, -25/+164meg griffin
- rchargel, on 06/09/2009, -15/+152Is it just me or did that sound rather condescending.
- rock774, on 06/08/2009, -4/+140So they sold 1 !
- borez, on 06/09/2009, -1/+136And I thought that I was the only one on their "Customer of the Year" wall. Now I feel inferior and dejected.
- akaakc, on 06/09/2009, -1/+111I know you were being funny, but it's actually a pretty interesting site. I just pulled it up after reading that notice - and it seems that this company is one of the few honest and independent businesses left. If you go to their "About" page and read that info, I think you'd be surprised at just how awesome these guys really are.
Edit: I figured I'd just link it.
http://cdbaby.com/about - Strongo, on 06/09/2009, -3/+94I meant to type something else but meg came out, instead of deleting it I just kept going.
- LoudMusic, on 06/09/2009, -2/+79How is this funny? We do everything this way in Portland.
- VinnieDaMac, on 06/09/2009, -2/+76Their website is worth looking around.....
"No Microsoft products were used in the creating of this website." - BudIcer, on 06/09/2009, -3/+73It´s fun to see a company with a sense of humor :)
- iFrix, on 06/09/2009, -3/+56"No Microsoft products were used in the creating of this website."
I like them already :D - daimposter, on 06/09/2009, -4/+56i want to digg you up but i can't quite tell what meg griffin has to do with anything.
- brandonchicago, on 06/09/2009, -0/+50Marketing/PR win. Love it or hate it, CDBaby.com is now in front of "bajillions" of Digg users.
- keithbelfast, on 06/09/2009, -0/+48It's ok, they're little children. Their little fingers are perfect for handling delicate cds, plus you can pay them in smarties.
- jamangold, on 06/09/2009, -2/+46Your comment is so abstract and off-topic without being douchey, psychotic, or blatantly spammy that I can't help but give you a green thumbs-up. A rare occurance indeed.
- DouglasQ, on 06/09/2009, -5/+47Dugg for Family Guy, but, I really don't understand what reference you were-...
...what? - MacEnvy, on 06/09/2009, -0/+41It's a pretty big wall.
- wrek, on 06/09/2009, -0/+39Bought a CD from them a couple years ago... same email then. Loved reading it... thought I was special but it appears EVERYONE got this treatment ;)
- Hellahulla, on 06/09/2009, -4/+43Indeed, Dabaum, indeed.
- jthei, on 06/09/2009, -2/+37Gorilla marketing at it's beast!
- willster580, on 06/09/2009, -2/+37Didn't you read what he said? It was from the party for delivering the CD.

- yaryarhumphump, on 06/09/2009, -0/+33That they do, my bands first album is being sold through them, I actually just finalized the info for Digital Distribution before coming to Digg. Cdbaby rocks.
- elitemrp, on 06/09/2009, -3/+35The sigh at the end doesn't help.
- insomniacal, on 06/09/2009, -7/+38Your story sounds too detailed to be entirely fictional. Drawing from personal experience?
- pixelate, on 06/09/2009, -0/+31Great little story/cautionary tale about CD Baby's origins:
http://sivers.org/mistake - athinnes, on 10/01/2009, -2/+32A team of 50 people just examining disks might not be the best business strategy in this economy.
- 1iProd, on 06/09/2009, -0/+29One day closer to death.
- DMXell, on 06/09/2009, -0/+28Before I even clicked the link I knew this was about CD Baby. I've purchased one thing from them before (the Neotokyo OST) and remember, especially, their shipment email.
- anaxa, on 06/09/2009, -0/+26First I've heard of it.
- Stormwern, on 06/09/2009, -1/+24It's a great site actually, though the quality of the music varies ofc, hopefully it's sites like this that eventually replace the main stream music industry.
***** the RIAA! - aceslick911, on 06/09/2009, -0/+23double sarcasm. ""Sarcasm""
- akaakc, on 06/09/2009, -5/+26I think the point of this "shipping notice" was to embarrass and ridicule this 'Adam' person...because apparently he's the only person in the world that still buys CDs.
- snagglefoof, on 06/09/2009, -4/+25Cool. How many visited the website? I did.
- radialturkey, on 06/09/2009, -3/+24I thought they sold a CD, not a large primate.
- Cyclist110, on 06/09/2009, -1/+21Guerilla marketing at it's best!
- MacEnvy, on 06/09/2009, -0/+19Not if you've got a Smartie Tree.
Stem Cells FTW - ElectroOverlord, on 06/09/2009, -0/+19Dude that is pretty ***** gross....you need to learn how to self sensor.
- ChiaGod, on 06/09/2009, -0/+18It's also a good source of RIAA free music. There's a good article on why the site was founded:
http://www.boycott-riaa.com/article/17167 - sockpuppets, on 06/09/2009, -2/+20Head asplodes.
- borez, on 06/09/2009, -0/+17Good lord, the emoticons have finally arrived on digg. It was only a matter of time I guess.
- jdames1980, on 06/09/2009, -0/+16As someone who has an Amazon Merchant account this really inspires me to improve my shipment notifications!
- chockster, on 06/09/2009, -2/+18Your inferiority complex is showing.
- JRowe3388, on 06/09/2009, -2/+18You don't get it.
Clearly, they were so happy that someone bought one CD again that they made it a celebration. -
