- breathofwater, on 02/18/2008, -2/+996Double dugg because that judge looks like a wizard
- mykool, on 02/18/2008, -39/+559OH come on...someone could have died?! Just another example of how uneducated the police are about the effects of marijuana.
- Barbrady, on 02/18/2008, -34/+348No wonder the the 2 morons didn't get prison, they had a pot smoking hippie judge sentencing them.
- defectDS, on 02/18/2008, -3/+304I sentence you to three years in AZKUHBANNNN!
- bigwillystyle, on 02/18/2008, -16/+240whys he so mad? id eat that burger any day of the week
- TheHapacalypse, on 02/18/2008, -1/+223That judge looks like he's hit a few spliffs in his time.
- jascination, on 02/18/2008, -16/+204While I smoke occasionally and really think the cop's blowing things out of proportion, the fact still remains: they deliberately drugged him. And that's just not cool.
- uriman, on 02/18/2008, -10/+189Of course they could have died! The MJ made the burgers more tasty FORCING them to eat the whole burger and thus increase their risks of a HEART ATTACK! Just look at that double chin on that cop. He could go any day now. Don't you know that heart disease is the number 1 killer in America? Jeez...
- Poncemon, on 02/18/2008, -17/+146I'm still stuck on the fact that that fat ***** is a police officer.
- fraglessone, on 02/18/2008, -12/+140Jeez, I think the drugs fed to the cows before they're made into burgers is probably worse than the pot. He should be happy he got an extra topping for free, or "hooked up" if you will.
- uriman, on 02/18/2008, -1/+124that judge may have inhaled before the trial
- unearth, on 02/18/2008, -4/+103You have to wonder if they KNEW that they were high right after they ate it? If they did, why would they continue to do things that could be dangerous in their view? Park your car in a parking lot, call for backup, and don't do anything until they get there. Shouldn't be too hard to sit still for a while, you're ***** high.
They're justifiably pissed, but come on. Unless they went out and tried to solve crimes, no one is going to get killed. - Vagabond91, on 02/18/2008, -14/+113No fat ***** cop like that would ever be near anything dangerous.
- inactive, on 02/18/2008, -2/+84The minimum requirement is that you are able to get out of bed unassisted.
- GuacamoleSan, on 02/18/2008, -8/+87Free weed. Whats the problem.
- Spuy767, on 02/18/2008, -1/+80Let's see, Judge who looks like wizard: Check. Stock photo of a hamburger bun with an image of a face depicted in sesame seeds: Check. Cop who looks like he got the muchies after eating said burger: Check.
- LloydBentsen, on 02/18/2008, -0/+74and will probably hit up the Burger King after the trial
- JimSwarthow, on 02/18/2008, -9/+79jeez, what a *****' drama-queen.. "I could've died"?? puhleeaze.
- Rodalli, on 02/18/2008, -4/+74You ***** put ON the robe and wizard hat. You never take it off. Never.
- BrownieBrown, on 02/18/2008, -0/+69OMG it's the cops from Southpark!
- Scrollfx, on 02/18/2008, -19/+84Are you serious? Of course someone could've died. The first time I got high, I felt disoriented like I was dreaming. Imagine if these cops were feeling like that and they are driving their cruiser, or chasing down someone on the highway. It wasn't like they got high while watching t.v. and hanging out. They were on duty!
- inactive, on 02/18/2008, -2/+55Many would pay extra.
- macwisdom, on 02/18/2008, -4/+57BFD... Get over it ... Now if they laced the burger with LSD Yea I'd be pissed off...
- rayjitsu, on 02/18/2008, -3/+55This should be on the Whopper Freakout commercials.
- inactive, on 02/18/2008, -0/+50"went out and solved crimes" hahahaha....
"Watson, I think that is no longer tobacco in my pipe." - stavrogin2, on 02/18/2008, -5/+53I think Officer Gobble-Down got the munchies.
- inactive, on 02/18/2008, -0/+46The MJ was actually the healthiest part of that burger!
- rayjitsu, on 02/18/2008, -2/+47I think Judge Toke was jealous he wasn't served one.
- LloydBentsen, on 02/18/2008, -17/+59Dude, pot is awesome and all, but I bet someone could have died indirectly. (super-small chance though) The cop could have been feeling too good to do something about a violent crime or something. I'm pretty sure he'd be totally incapable of a high-speed chase with his slow and steady driving.
- pedo, on 02/18/2008, -4/+45that cops weight probably increases the risk of someone dying more than a pot burger. shouldn't they have to pass a physical to keep their job? i mean, what if he has to chase someone on foot? that dude isn't going to catch anyone...
the kids got a year of probation. that seems reasonable to me. what did he want? life in prison? - omnithought, on 02/18/2008, -8/+46Propaganda much?
- fatlip, on 02/18/2008, -1/+38officer riveri needs to eat a few of these
- Phrag, on 02/18/2008, -6/+41I doubt he was the only officer on duty at the time.
- Vorin, on 02/18/2008, -0/+35The short answer - yes, we have physically capable cops, but not nearly enough.
- InferiorWang, on 02/18/2008, -0/+34You and jardrian have been watching too many propaganda commercials.
- Phrag, on 02/18/2008, -1/+34You watch too many anti-drug commercials. It is more likely the cop would have been overly cautious because he was paranoid from eating the pot.
- InferiorWang, on 02/18/2008, -12/+44I take off my robe and wizard hat...
- colihondro, on 02/18/2008, -1/+33"Have it your way"
- Xondar, on 02/18/2008, -0/+29Sometimes, wizards are so awesome... it hurts...
- Phrag, on 02/18/2008, -5/+32Actually, I find armed people more threatening when they are high on adrenaline and testosterone than when they are high on THC. I've never heard of a trigger happy hippie.
- MadFistWilly, on 02/18/2008, -0/+26Well let's see, he consumed pot, which as opposed to smoking would have a much more prolonged, but weaker high. And I highly doubt two people working fast food have enough spare money to waste a substantial amount on making a pot-burger to sell to a policeman, so I doubt he even consumed that much. The situation is stupid, but the cop is blowing it way out of proportion.
- maexus, on 02/18/2008, -1/+27Even with my personal beliefs about drug legallity and recreational drug use, I have to agree with this. Free or not, giving someone a mind altering substance without their constent is wrong.
- LloydBentsen, on 02/18/2008, -1/+26I'm sure that's why they weren't able to reach Judge Pope to comment on the story.
- electricsheep, on 02/18/2008, -1/+25Around here, the State Troopers are all built like marines. The city cops and the Sherrif's dept? That's a different story...
- Ryan121, on 02/18/2008, -0/+24Dumbledore is alive!
- inactive, on 02/18/2008, -0/+23ALL of it
- inobla, on 02/18/2008, -4/+27Judge Pope looks like an old hippie!! Perfect judge for the case! ...and.... Dumb cops didn't realize something tasted funny after the first bite?
- diggduggjoe, on 02/18/2008, -14/+36I fully agree. I would feel violated, too. Adulterating a burger with a psychoactive drug is a very serious offense. I think it would be dangerous to have cops high while on duty. Besides the risks of driving, they are armed! Would you want to be on the other end of a 9mm handled by an impaired officer? I am certain that I would not.
