- echinatl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+89Introducing children at such a young age to cubicles should be a crime!
- reddevil3, on 10/12/2007, -3/+61wow the cubicles look so depressing...
- Xorp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+55I hear it's a party 24/7 at AMD...
- gregm, on 10/12/2007, -7/+53Thats why I'm glad I work at Google...
Wait... - BigglesPiP, on 10/12/2007, -0/+46I'd always expected Intel to be like google, all interestingish inside.
- wazzledoozle2, on 10/12/2007, -1/+41Yeah! I always wanted a job so depressing that it would give me an excuse to go on anti-depressants!!!
- ihate2regist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+40around C9?
- Reziarfg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+32David? I'll meet you by the watercooler around 7ish, the one near D9, we can discuss the last episode of house.
- Erik1, on 10/12/2007, -3/+34I definitely do not want to work at Intel.
- Skanadian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+30The first guy he meets gives him an extremely weird handshake.
- santiago1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+28
I, uh, work there.... - RichG13, on 11/02/2007, -0/+23Conan's dance at the end made it worth the watch.
- djbumunltd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20Ah...I see. I should actually start watching the show. Thanks.
- Adma1, on 10/12/2007, -9/+27Man I'm an idiot, when I first read the title, I was expecting some huge guy with a sword to be visiting Intel.
- Kamisado, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Dude, get with the times. Horizontal sin-curve handshakes are all the rage in the tech world.
- Syvl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16They were in San Francisco for a week.
- tsctsc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16Visiting the Intel building and not making a terrible Intel Inside joke upon entering = fail.
- xShad0w, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16oh comon, you made it too easy for AMD, lets see a side by side comparison!
- monkzero, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16I bet if you look closely at the guys who work at Intel, you can see a sticker, "Depressed Inside!"
- SowWn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16Wow... intel hired Crab Man?
- BananaGrabber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15I love that guy who's right behind the conan when he steals the chair.. He tries hides right after seeing he's in the camera's view.
- kevin2735, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Seeing those cubes would make me want to go work for Microsoft.
- nipuL, on 10/12/2007, -4/+18oh man I want to work for intel!!
- ApplCmptrDood, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15My Dad actually works there, in the mask devision. He likes it a lot, from what he tells me. He says the work he's doing is interesting and has been pretty cool. And it pays well, so...
- kalleanka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12They should show this video every time they do college recruiting over at universities and see how many applications they get.
- jett18turbo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11I work at Intel's D1D R&D fab. I can't believe they showed the mating monkey transistors!!!! that's TOP SECRET!!!!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9At least they get windows where they work. :( There are no windows in the offices at my company, the executives have fake windows with fake scenic vistas.
- ipodman715, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Video mirror: http://www.clipstr.com/videos/ConanVisitsIntel/
- Koyder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Now I know where George Lucas got his inspiration for "THX 1138" from.
- NSResponder, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Cubicles are depressing. They're also bad for recruitment, and they tend to increase attrition. One of these years, managers in large companies are going to figure that out.
-jcr - briangig, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6wow...i couldn't imagine spending every day stuck in one of those stupid cubicles...what a horrible way to waste away...
- pixelbasic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Conformity Inside
- ahawks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The no windows thing is sad enough. But executives having fake windows with fake views... that's just down right pathetic on their part.
- SilentSpyder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Makes me think of Office Space.
- daridave, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5Seriously... no wonder all those guys do is just bump the speed, innovation one every 10 years. xD
We all have a price, but it'd have to be pretty high for me to work in that cemet..office. - pixelbasic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3This just in...'Intel reports record lows in college recruitment program"
Seriously...kudos to Intel for having the guts to let this air. Although I bet someone in the PR department lost their job. - ipodman715, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Damnit!
They took it down and disabled my account! Bastards.
Nothing but free publicity for NBC. - torxx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Conan clips need to be available on YouTube.
NBC removed the Conan clip and did not post it on their site.
Is copyright protection worth zero word of mouth advertising?
Any ideas how to get this changed? - BeardedTacoFish, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2More dancing please!
- skydivingdutch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2There actually aren't any watercoolers, just fountains near the bathrooms
- NSResponder, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4What, like that would be any better?
-jcr - TheTrueAPlus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Do you mean Microsoft Windows Vista? Sure, Intel has plenty of that. And you have to survive with a skin on XP. Hehe.
- antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yes, but what about this and the video? [scratches head]
- ipodman715, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1My site with download link: http://digg.no-ip.info/conan
- dcoxen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Funny
- Satertek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Lately? Not so much.
http://hardware.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=07/04/20/2115242 - sgtspite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I know worse place's to work!
Hey Conan! Pop over to Glaxosmithkline!
Did you know nearly three quarters of their workforce are on suicide watch lol! - cramd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I had to log in just to give you the thumbs up. There needs to be some sort of telethon that can get the word out to the public that people in their own cities, maybe even friends, have to work under such conditions. We need action to stop this inhumane treatment! I am living proof that you can't give up on people that become confined to the cube (it is not a choice), I had a self run intervention and I have been cube free for three years now!
- jcloudman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's back on You Tube, and approved by NBC:
