Every comedian has to deal with hecklers, so half the skill in being a good standup comedian is having good comebacks and putdowns for hecklers. He didn't have *any*, except to get really, genuinely angry and verbally violent. It was pretty pathetic to watch. I was embarrassed for both parties.

Actually this same kind of thing happened at the Montreal Comedy Festival a few years back. 1.Hit the skinny woman and jeopardize your career as a comedian.
2. Take the High road, and not hit her back, and gain some of your fleeting audience back.

lame - SlappyMc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Right. I Like his argument at first glance, saying that anyone can wear a towel on their head seems to negate the comment as being racial, because anyone of any race can in fact wear a towel on their head.. But I see a few problems.
Firstly, it isn't exactly a towel, it's a turban.. There IS in fact a difference in my opinion. Maybe turban needs defining. Dunno.
Secondly, is the context in which it is used. He obviously isn't using it as a way of describing someone who arbitrarily wears a towel on their head. He uses it to define someone who practices the Muslim faith (I believe he mentioned Muslim.).
