He's like a mentalist/mind reader who uses a wireless reciever instead of a secret code - not just a cheater but a cheating cheater.

This tip brought to you by the White House. - understudy, on 11/07/2007, -2/+26Magic really is not about the secret method. Most are quite simple and when someone ruins the secret, you feel kinda let down because it wasn't some crazy complicated thing.
What it is about is the way it is presented and the integrity of the performer. Criss Angel has is a dumbed down version of what magic could be on television. Worse still, he resorts to methods that look great to the cameraman, but cannot be repeated for real spectators (as opposed to the over-the-top stooges he uses on his TV shows).
He does a disservice to other illusionists who refuse to use the camera as their method.
