- future15tbd, on 10/16/2008, -0/+5I seriously doubt that "history will be kind" to Bush.

relax buddy, it's a story from the onion, it's supposed to make you laugh. - future15tbd, on 10/16/2008, -0/+2Finally, Bush is acknowledging what we have all been doing every time he speaks: rapid breathing, cold sweats, occasional screams. Aaarrrrrggggghhhhh!!!! Make it end, please.
- stopsucking, on 10/15/2008, -4/+5This is absolutely classic. Good ol' Onion.
- inactive, on 10/15/2008, -6/+7It was funny... But I have to bury it for being a Baby Spam submission ;)
- jstohler, on 10/21/2008, -0/+1Mr. Bush, would you say it's time for us to crack each other's heads open and feast on the goo inside?

- inactive, on 10/15/2008, -4/+2and the people are responding...it's too much work for me to panic...i've got other things to do like bake cookies, eat pizza, watch movies, read books or the news...oh yeah, and i've gotta work sometimes too since i'm not independently wealthy...damn!
- montanask8, on 10/15/2008, -5/+2He sure is good at that... And wait - near an election - who would have thought... Its as bad as the fact that gas is going down in price right now... Gosh - I wonder why.
- pagit, on 10/15/2008, -5/+2McCain was tipped off by Bush in September tho act irrationally.
- Shiftgood, on 10/15/2008, -7/+4Mr. Bush it wasn't supposed to be like this was it? You knew your son struggled in school, but they were great schools. You helped him pass his classes and when you would sit on the side of the bed at night, before you turned off your lights, when you put your glasses on your nightstand and rubbed the sore skin on your nose you would think to yourself, hope to yourself, that he was a late bloomer. The oil company was a failure as well and his time in the military was really just to keep him out of trouble. But like this? it wasnt supposed to be like this. The presidency was supposed to be his time to shine, his time to grow and with the help of your influence and your friends, a time for your son to carry on the Bush family name. A name that was supposed to represent strength, power and global respect. A name that would reflect liberation trough law and force.
But thats not how it happened. Your son stuttered and stumbled, his feet falling from under him as he tries to stand in the shadow of the greatest men in the world.
Your son is not a leader, he is not a uniter, he is not a liberator and he is not bringing honor to your name. In your eyes as you pull strings as hard as you can and as you deflect critisizm and swallow your shortcomings we can all see it in your eyes. We all know... You're ashamed of your son and we all know it wasnt supposed to be like this. - poprocksandsoda, on 10/16/2008, -5/+1Now this is where the Left drops that original comedy and says "The Onion predicted this ...". You have less than 100 days Left of GW so enjoy your pointless, factless accusations against one of the greatest Presidents our country has known. History will be kind to him, and will show you all as the hateful, indifferent truckload of fools you are.
