- levharrisr, on 10/26/2007, -41/+388Why didn't anybody tase them, bro?
- it5five, on 11/11/2007, -79/+361Truthers are absurd.
I loved watching this. If only someone could do the same to the rest of the internet. - sunburner, on 11/03/2007, -47/+281Ah man I love the way Bill Maher handled that.
- Protonz, on 11/11/2007, -16/+245The 1st amendment doesn't really come into play as is implied by that woman at the end of the video. The purpose is to limit government control.
That is a 'private' business, and Bill is able to control what is said as he sees fit. - canewediggit, on 11/11/2007, -24/+250moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
- robotfuel, on 11/11/2007, -8/+228People who want a second investigation for 9/11 will not get it by shouting at Bill Maher.
- stereophile, on 11/11/2007, -18/+186the first amendment gives you the right of free speech. What it does not give you is the right to have a platform to be heard
- chicoer2001, on 10/26/2007, -28/+167I loved Bill's WTF look when they first started shouting.
- Ajajadude, on 11/11/2007, -13/+128If they want ANYONE to take them seriously, they need to go about it the right way. And the right way doesn't include being annoying ***** in a studio audience.
- reiner15, on 10/26/2007, -18/+130While I don't fully agree with all of the things said about 9-11... harassing TV hosts and causing problems sure doesn't help ones case.
- Beatmiser, on 11/11/2007, -39/+128I love it when Truthers pull this *****. It's one more notch in their crazy belt as far as the rest of the society is concerned.
I was watching this last night and thought that Bill handled it well. Though Matthew's bizzarro laugh always makes me a bit squicked. - treecha02, on 10/29/2007, -12/+100They don't have a right to do so on a television program where they are an audience member. Maher had an absolute right to kick them out.
- QuorumCall, on 10/22/2007, -5/+92I loved Joel Stein's comment toward the end there: "Well I was only allowed two guests so things should be O.K after that."
- bigsteve, on 11/11/2007, -5/+88Man, for me, this thread will test the upper-bound limit of the digg user block list.
- ZenFountain, on 10/24/2007, -20/+85Bill is sick of these guys, can't they catch a drift? They only make themselves look idiotic with ***** like like this.
- parsap, on 11/11/2007, -9/+64Dude, read the ***** constitution. You can assemble and protest all you want in a public setting, but as soon as you start illegally sabotaging a private establishment, that's where your rights end.
- DjArcadian, on 10/23/2007, -21/+74Bill kicking ass? Easy to say when a staff of 10 is doing the actual ass kicking.
- MadScientist440, on 10/21/2007, -3/+51I think you meant that this is a bad "precedent". George W. is a bad "president".
- TGMD, on 10/29/2007, -21/+67It's been tried but they are slippery *****
- theshizzler, on 10/22/2007, -16/+60911 Mysteries and Loose Change are what convinced me of how crazy you guys actually are, thank you very much.
- TGMD, on 10/22/2007, -20/+64rugrat54 idiot
- badjoke, on 10/22/2007, -3/+46At least he got out of his seat and tried. Most wouldn't.
- jcims, on 11/11/2007, -20/+63lol, they can't even move six nukes without the whole country finding out...how was this an 'inside job' again?
- SilentSpyder, on 10/23/2007, -6/+48I thought they were saying "Boo-urns".
- praveens, on 11/11/2007, -21/+60chris mathews is a flaming idiot
- Barman, on 11/11/2007, -15/+54Yeah that was an awkward moment for the show. It's live, and this dick was ruining it for a good few minutes.
Get it out of your ***** head 9/11 nuts... The 9/11 conspiracy has been debunked over and over. Why not spend your time more wisely by protesting iraq, global warming, and a ton of other ***** going down in the country - Griffology, on 10/21/2007, -9/+48Well then according to your "logic", you sir are a fool
- bmc31190, on 10/22/2007, -4/+40Bill Maher isn't there to argue with the audience. He is there to hold discussion with his guests.
- sfpfc, on 11/11/2007, -26/+62Hard to hear what the living with momma basement dwellers were saying, I did hear a moo though.
- LBobRife, on 10/21/2007, -10/+46It also seems that you think that implies that every conspiracy theory eventually gets accepted as self-evident.
No, those rules apply more to the history of scientific theories, not conspiracy ones. - tehpwnrate, on 10/22/2007, -9/+44You're right, it doesn't mean they're wrong. However, in this case they are most definitely wrong.
- PeppermintPig, on 10/21/2007, -11/+45If it's that obvious that it was an inside job, well.. then what? Press charges? LOL...
Truthers annoy me because they research and research, and the extent of all this "research" and activism is to yell and be combative. Unfortunately, they don't really get anything done. Obsessing over symptoms. - LBobRife, on 11/03/2007, -4/+38You see, if you were trying at exaggeration, you failed horribly. If you were serious, you are seriously deluded. Either way, you're getting buried.
- Me1000, on 10/29/2007, -6/+39They only have the right if it is a public area!
being in a studio (a private place) the 1st amendment doesn't apply - Gaulven, on 10/21/2007, -3/+34All truth.
Yeah, I getcha. The other day I was asked by my friend what I had for lunch. I told the truth: I had a turkey salad sandwich and a V8. They gave me hell at first, I mean who eats a turkey sandwich? That's absurd. Then he and my other buddies started beating me up. The truth was self-evident when I threw up a turkey salad sandwich and V8.
So yeah, you're right I guess. - MonkeyHugger, on 10/29/2007, -17/+48They're almost absurd as the word 'truther'. Why did these freaks make up this awful, awful word?
- mage1129, on 11/11/2007, -10/+41Actually I believe the word is Troofer. Because is sounds like truth but is in no way the same thing.
- Graeleight, on 10/24/2007, -27/+57I've been such a fool! Thank you truthers! All this time I thought the massive damage from debris coupled with an unchecked hours long fire caused the collapse of this insignificant building. Now I realize that it was deliberated destroyed by the government for some reason.
Thanks so much. I think I speak for everyone here that you can now go away and stop talking about this because we are enlightened. Seriously. Go home. Bye bye now. - Makaras, on 11/11/2007, -17/+47Yeah, by being an annoying jack-off that is how i get all my opinions across. It is funny to me that the truthers have reduced themselves to whoring their message on generally sympathetic programs. It is just further proof that their cause is dying a slow painful death, and further more, that even within these sympathetic locations they are outcasts.
- baxterthaman, on 10/23/2007, -35/+65Bill should have had them tazed.
- tehpwnrate, on 10/23/2007, -3/+31This is when you hover your mouse over "submit comment," and realize that no, this comment isn't worth submitting. You can then close the tab and go on your merry way, and no one will be the wiser.
- macaddct1984, on 10/22/2007, -7/+34Don't kick my ass, bro.
- stonedslacker, on 10/29/2007, -2/+29Btw, if someone can upload the Garry Kasparov (The erstwhile Russian Chessmaster, now seeking to run for Russian Presidential office) interview from this same episode.
It was probably the most intelligent interview I've ever heard and he summarizes what's wrong with a lot of stuff in the world pretty well. You should also see the reaction of Chris Matthews after the interview who's so stunned that politicians from other countries can be so smart an sophisticated compared to our own. And this wasn't even his mother tongue. You'd want to shift to Russia just to vote for someone who can speak so intelligently. All in all a pretty good episode.

http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/militar ...
There are so many things wrong with this Presidential administration, so many lies, if people spent half the time going after verifiable abuses of power rather than chasing their White Whale maybe we wouldn't be in the mess we're in. Seriously, ***** 9/11 Truthers. - Beatmiser, on 10/23/2007, -12/+37No. Honestly. I'd applaud ANYONE who throws the truthers off their show. Hell I applauded Geraldo when he told them to get a life and I hate his dumb ass.
- LBobRife, on 10/22/2007, -11/+35There is a big difference between criticizing the government and believing inside job theories.
- SpaceParanoids, on 10/21/2007, -13/+36IDIOTIC CONSPIRACY THEORIES PASS THROUGH THREE STAGES
ONE, It is ridiculed
TWO, It is violently opposed
THREE, Go back to stage one
We're at 1.5, but we'll be back to stage one soon enough. - Hortnon, on 10/21/2007, -10/+33I find it funny that as soon as an article frontpages, you truthers get Dugg into oblivion.
- Defuser, on 10/22/2007, -10/+32Dear dumbass: We HAVE answers about what happened on 9/11. We have answers from independent scientists, from bipartisan government commissions, from bin Laden himself, and from literally thousands of professionals who examined the site. Yet because a handful of clueless ***** saw a controlled demolition on the Discovery channel and now consider themselves "experts" in everything from structural analysis to metallurgy, YOU think that the rest of us have "moved on"? ***** you, *****. The rest of us haven't "moved on", we're just refusing to piss all over the memory of the people who died on 9/11 by turning it into some sort of moronic freak show for imbeciles.
- q1006662, on 10/21/2007, -5/+27You're calling for terror attacks in order to kill innocent civilians with beliefs that are different from your own? You scum.
