- fantasticjon, on 10/11/2007, -4/+122Is anyone else having trouble with youtube over the past couple of days. Its been loading slow and sometimes pages won't load at all. Or is it just me?
- sonaro, on 10/11/2007, -1/+96Yes.
- ZTYKA, on 10/11/2007, -1/+71Seriously, name one redeeming quality she has. And don't say she's hot(t) because she isn't, and even if she was, her personality makes her ugly.
- mablco, on 10/11/2007, -0/+41@miloez :( i like her, am i the only one?
unfortunately there are more idiots out there just like you. - skepticality, on 10/11/2007, -2/+39I *STILL* don't understand why people CARE about her? She has never done anything that I can figure out that demands any attention...
- Prathik89, on 10/11/2007, -0/+35*cheers*
- CraigJ, on 10/11/2007, -1/+30people don't hate her because she's rich, they hate her because she's rich and she's a Stupid Spoiled Whore
- ODSTKuk, on 10/11/2007, -0/+18When Conan announced that she is out of jail. The audience booed the entire time.
- roomforpanic, on 10/11/2007, -1/+19I love Conan Conan.
- esotericguy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+15That happens to me too, just reload the page.
that being said, "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!" - diabolicdiablo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12This is how the world feels about Hilton in lockup : http://homepage.ntlworld.com/hands74/0608pariscarcryinffo1.jpg
- orientis, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11Wtf is with this new youtube feature: "Who's watching now"
Why the ***** do I care who else is watching the same video? Thanks for updating a tiny section of java in real time before the video has even loaded properly. - ChayD, on 10/11/2007, -2/+12What is Paris Hilton? A new hotel chain in France, or what?
/feigned ignorance - FadieZ, on 10/11/2007, -2/+10It takes me about 5 seconds to load and then it's fine.
- xerus, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8It may be the fact that Youtube is integrating their new player, which sucks as bad as the old one.
- Jimgress, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6"Is she rich? Filthy rich, but unfortunately everyone hates her for it."
This cannot be further from the truth. Sure most people usually are jealous of the rich, but they don't go into rampant cheering when/if they go to jail. The real reason everyone hates Paris is that she's not just rich but has absolutely NO REDEEMABLE QUALITIES that justify her status.
This is what pisses people off. Be as rich as you want, but if you don't earn it, people are going to want your head on a pike. (e.g. Marie Antoinette) - GMorgan, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8":( i like her, am i the only one?"
You see. They say 'There is no such thing as a free meal?' meaning that theoretically everything has a cost. Unfortunately Paris has proved that this doesn't extend to rides with her thereby destroying a key idiom in the political mindset of many people. Of course rides with Paris aren't free, people miss the loss of the immortal soul, easy one to forget that.
Hopefully this has enlightened you as to why people dislike Paris a little bit. Reality is that people don't like sluts once they have left school and many dislike sluts even in school. - travisccook, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7I certainly hope you are.
- orientis, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6People hate her because every day she flaunts her privilege, shoving her excess in the face of the world and her fellow Americans. She makes a mockery of the concept of 'hard work' and is the antithesis of your American Dream. She is also a direct result of same.
There is a ***** GENOCIDE occurring in Darfur right now and this stupid ***** cries about a month of minimal security celebrity jail time. She needs to be made an example of, not for our benefit, but for her own. - jpt62089, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Seemed a bit too short actually... :(
- izmeh, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5I never watched it
- Boomstickblitz, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4In jail for non violent crime? she should be done for drunk driving, which happens to kill a hell of a lot of people each year. I agree with mrbone, crime should hurt. Plus how many people will be convicted of the same crimes she commits and end up with a ***** ton more time in prison. She is media whore, drawing peoples attention away from important matters.
In my honest opinion, she is a waste of a good liver. - orientis, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4"Of course rides with Paris aren't free, people miss the loss of the immortal soul, easy one to forget that."
You must be This tall to ride Paris. - orientis, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Paparazzi are just meeting a need in the market. You can't blame them.
Blame the women who buy these stupid celebrity magazines, the people who watch stupid celebrity tv shows, the people who buy stupid celebrity music albums.
Just blame stupid people. - MrBone, on 10/11/2007, -4/+7Sorry for spamming, but I missed a big part of my point.
Celebrities are hounded for your pleasure. I can't imagine a more nasty way to make a living than being a paparazzi. That's the most evil proffesion besides being an IRS/RIAA employee Why the hell do people care so much about what a rich bitch does? Is your life really so unbearable that you have to envy everyone out there that has a better life? I'm pretty happy about my life, even though it sucks hairy sweaty balls compared to many other people.
Please, stop being retarded about your life, get a ***** tinfoilhat to screen out the most obvious distractions. Stop being envious and start living the best life you can. Make shure your kids can grow up happy.
Peace. - Syncdata, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I can only speak for myself and my friends, but the reason we are happy she's in the hoosegow is because the justice system finally gave an equitable punishment, In fact, as far as jail is concerned, Paris is in the country club section. All she really needs to do is catch up on her reading.
I can tell you how this entire thing went down. The judge sends paris to jail, the Hiltons slipped a few thousand dollars to the sherriff to say she had a medical issue, assuming the Judge would take his cut, but he didn't. The Sheriff said he had the Judges say so, and he was lying. The only reason he would have done that is because he expected the Judge to take his cut.
The Judge is a savage beyond question. Right on homey. - MrBone, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Wow, the world has news that are too real to be understood! We need Paris and American Idol and other ***** to watch on the tube just to be entertained.
The US has a ***** of REAL news it should listen to, but they are to complicated to grasp? The day Paris became top of the line news material was the day we lost touch with reality. I know, there's a certain irony in the fact that I'm contributing more to this post than other more important issues like the abuse of power in the US, problems in the middle east, supression of entire populations rights in numerous countries all over the world and last but not least global warming.
Paris should not be in the news. Important issues should be. That's why it's called news and not gossip. - bat-21, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2There AREN'T people like that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jake_Byrd
- IamandI, on 10/11/2007, -3/+4What I believe is the saddest point within her entire story is that people actually enjoy seeing this woman suffer. And furthermore I believe its not just Paris its the entire country. Our society has simply become one filled with hate. Now I beseech you not to look upon my comments as a Paris fan or Paris fanatic, because I'm neither of the two, but I do love Paris, just as I love all my other brothers and sisters. But to actually gain delight in seeing an-others misfortunes is inherently wrong. I understand that she did wrong, and I agree that she does and should pay they price for her transgression of the law, but what I do not and will not agree with is the idea that everyone should beat this woman while she's down. But if you look at America for instance that is what our society has become. One of continuous hatred. This becomes more and more apparent when visiting diggs comment boards. All it seems is that very VERY VERY few bloggers have any love within themselves, which can be seem in the hateful comments they make to one another. I didn't expect to go on for so long but when a person no matter how selfish that person may seem is put within a terrible situation, no matter how they got there, society should be there to say "Hey you screwed up, You have to pay the price for your screw-up, but were only attempting to instill accountability " But what in fact what is being said to Paris is " HA HA HA HA HA HA, I hope you die in there, HA HA HA HA, please, please, please, drop the soap" and that's not right at all, for America as individuals, or as a whole.
But I guess no one cares about each other. - MrBone, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3I think a proper punishment would be a percentage of her annual spending.
Rich people should pay more for their crimes. Simply beause they can afford it.
Crime should hurt. - crazybugger, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Who is paris hilton? Why people hate her?
I think she is hated more than Bush!
/sarcasm
Please don't tell me to search google. - MrBone, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3@jimgress
"This cannot be further from the truth. Sure most people usually are jealous of the rich, but they don't go into rampant cheering when/if they go to jail. The real reason everyone hates Paris is that she's not just rich but has absolutely NO REDEEMABLE QUALITIES that justify her status."
No, the real reason they are cheering is that she's been followed footstep by footstep every single step for the last 5 years by the media because she is rich and flawed while everyone else is just ordinary flavor flawed. People finally have a "justification", a trial and conviction. Further from the truth my ass, jealousy is the number one reason people hate her, the fact that she has NO REDEEMABLE QUALITIES is just icing on the cake. - ChayD, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2It's all down to perceived demand. Once-upon-a-time the media ran out of real news, so they said "Hey, why don't we print some garbage about an A-lister misbehaving?" They did this, and suddenly, all those people out there with nothing to discuss with their friends around the watercooler, started talking up the news item, like "Wow, these celebrities are so human, just like you and me. They have vacations, get drunk, make fools of themselves" etc... Newspapers were duly purchased, and TV channels tuned into to see what all the fuss was about. The media, seeing all this frenzy said "Hey, that's a really good way to sell [newspapers|TV|whatever]". For a while, this formula worked for other A-listers. After a while interest started to wane (there are only so many A-listers of note, and people were beginning to tire of their antics); Sooo the media went onto B-listers, C-listers, reality TV 'stars', and more likely than not, eventually the general public - don't be surprised to see "Exclusive: Jane Doe doesn't wear panties" splashed across the papers in about 10 years time.
All characters in this text are fictional blah blah blah purely coincidental blah blah blah no warranties express or implied blah blah blah. - knugen, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1@haystring
haha yeah, damn the parents for their retarded kid, they should've checked their genes before doing the nasties! plain irresponsible... - cr4ft, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2I think they're just testing new things and are running into some problems, kind of like that time when sending messages to people via YouTube was a pain
- Whammo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Did anyone notice when he opens the door to go back in the studio his head is nearly hitting the top of the door frame, yet when they pick it up from the other side he appears to be a foot shorter? In the hallway his head is close to the ceiling, he has to bend down to look in a mirror. Is Conan the incredible shrinking man?
- HayString, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2eye heart Conan
- macewan, on 10/11/2007, -5/+4ignorance is hot
- starguy, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1I thought millions of you were entertained by the "Simple Life". Gee, how quickly the mob turns.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simple_Life - codyman, on 10/11/2007, -5/+3Did anyone see that weirdo guy in the background of the news conference that was held outside the jail... I"m referring to the guy that was practically drooling over paris hilton and was calling out asking if she looked "hot" while she was in the courtroom...?
it's sad that there are people like that out there in the world... - NikoKun, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2This really sickens me that she was put in jail for this... I don't care what the public Digg-opinion is on this... It was WRONG that she'd have to go to jail for a non-violent crime... -_-
- clueless, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1i think when a video is bombarded with hits, youtube automatically stop the stream to that video (for whatever stupid reason).
i agree that it's very annoying.. - SativaZealot, on 10/11/2007, -7/+2yeah it deserves alot of attention so we can all laugh now that the worthless ***** finally got what she deserved
- MrBone, on 10/11/2007, -7/+1She's been pampered from here to hell and back, how can anyone be surprised if reality ***** her up? Prison is as real as it gets, and she's even only halfway there. I'm not even going to take a stand on whether she deserves the punishment or not, that's how ***** up she is.
Is she hot? Doesn't really matter does it?
Is she rich? Filthy rich, but unfortunately everyone hates her for it.
Her biggest problem is that she's a celebrety, she can get press coverage just by flicking a booger at someone. Imagine the amount of interest the media has when she gets eaten in prison. How the hell can judges be objective faced with a celeb like this? They simply can't.
Poor Paris, she's screwed. Screwed by reality, how ironic. - bIuebonics, on 10/11/2007, -13/+6actually, the fact that this whorish, stuck up, spoiled, self-centered, holier than thou, gaping vagina, slut bag, worn out ***** rag is in jail... it deserves much attention and much applause.
- pixelgecko, on 10/11/2007, -9/+2"She has never done anything that I can figure out that demands any attention..."
unless you count that raunchy video she made...it sure got my attention. - Ramble, on 10/11/2007, -17/+9You moran.
- HayString, on 10/11/2007, -10/+1I'm w/ you miloez.
I don't hate on Paris, sure she may be a "stupid spoiled whore," but is it really her fault for being that way? I mean really, that's like making fun of a retarded person, it's not their fault they're that way, it's the parents'. -
