- AiR1890, on 11/09/2009, -1/+26I remember hearing that those so called alien abductons that people have described were not aliens, or alien abductions at all, but just something known as sleep paralysis. Basically you go to sleep, and you go into the second sleep stage of REM, while in that stage you actually wake up, but you cannot move a muscle since you are still in the second sleep stage of REM. You begin to feel weird, you start having hallucinations, you see big eyed, blurry, weird looking creatures, like the alien martians people have described, not aliens at all, but a hallucination. When you are born you see big eyed blurry people, that look like what people now know as aliens. That is why you see these weird looking beings while you are in sleep paralysis. Other things that happen are you start having more hallucinations of weird creatures in your room, and your brain sends signals to the rest of your body, one being sexual arousal, which is why people say that the aliens gave them anal probes, or did sexual things to them. You feel a deep pressure on your chest, just more signals from your brain. Cultures all over the world have enterpited these hallucinations as rape demons, that sit on your chest and rape you, monsters, ghosts, and alien abductions. I am not making any of this up, google it yourself.

- inactive, on 11/08/2009, -6/+13I believe it's pronounced "fraud".
- Propethic, on 11/08/2009, -3/+10It can be outright dismissed because hearsay is not considered evidence, physical evidence needs to exist
- cfuse, on 11/09/2009, -0/+6Just because he probed you doesn't make him an alien.
- DaneGleesac, on 11/09/2009, -0/+6that actually makes a lot of sense.
http://www.news.harvard.edu/gazette/2005/09.22/11- ... - mine4321, on 11/08/2009, -2/+6I believe ETs exist. I just don't think they've probably visited here.
- g33b33, on 11/08/2009, -2/+6hey, my moms a yooeffol...a youefowl..a fraud.
- GregLoire, on 11/09/2009, -0/+4Physical evidence does exist, just not in large quantities. Hearsay is not physical evidence, no, nor is it considered noteworthy by itself.
- Locknarr, on 11/09/2009, -0/+3Shouldn't #11 be Roland Emmerich? He's got Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow, and 2012... Michael Bay has Armageddon. Cracked really needs to start checking their facts, ***** *****.
- geoffderuiter, on 11/09/2009, -0/+3But not all the time. Especially when they have had implants identified and removed. See the video and related ones of the operations and analysis of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TOowR3RpIU
- inactive, on 11/08/2009, -6/+9Why is the author claiming that a "ufologist" 5is a valid discipline? That's like saying homeopath, naturopath, alternative medicine specialist and astrologer are respected disciplines based on evidence and science.
- llamagoelz, on 11/09/2009, -2/+4the kind of idiocy that your touting has spurred discovery channel to further fall from the high bar they used to set on cable television and now they have a ***** ghost hunting show... go watch that if you want psudo science on TV
(btw just for the record i am rather obsessed with the REAL search for alien life its called astrobiology and that's what my COLLEGE DEGREE will be in) - ShootTheCore, on 11/08/2009, -4/+6I just saw this film. It sucked.
- Kuci06, on 11/08/2009, -0/+2dugg for interesting rednecks
- Denex, on 11/09/2009, -0/+2How do you pronounce 'ufologist"?
Is it UFO-ologist? Or do you just pronounce it the way it's spelled? Always been wondering about this. - GiggleStick, on 11/09/2009, -1/+3@infinitus64
And that it can't. The odds are like the lottery. Someone WILL win, but the odds of it mattering to or affecting you, are extremely low. - JiGMeister, on 11/09/2009, -0/+2Que?
- fragMasterFlash, on 11/09/2009, -1/+3I once climbed to the top of the Devils Tower, made a mashed potato Devils Tower and was abducted by aliens. And then the peyote buttons wore off...
- YEEK, on 11/09/2009, -2/+4OK. Just thought I'd share this. In 1992, my wife and I were staying at Kirkham Hot Springs campground in Idaho. Only one other couple was camping there that night. Sometime after midnight, an intense bright white light woke us up. It was shining through the rear window of our van (where we were sleeping). We both looked up at the light, which appeared to be about 100 yards away near the campground entrance and about 10 feet off the ground. It was large, about the size of a searchlight, and a blinding, pearlescent white. My wife said, "Look how bright the moon is." I heard myself agree, even though I could see that the light was attached to the bottom of some sort of large structure and was far brighter than any moon. Five men, silhouetted, walked out of the light directly toward us. Their silhouettes all seemed very similar in stature. Their heads seemed extremely large which made me think they must be wearing hats. When they were about thirty feet away, my wife asked who they were. I heard myself respond, "Don't worry. They're just Park Rangers. See their uniforms? Go to sleep." My mouth spoke the words, but I didn't feel like I was saying them. For some strange reason, I was not the least bit afraid, and neither was my wife, even though five strangers were approaching my van in the middle of the night in the middle of Nowhere, Idaho. They walked directly to the rear window of our van and looked in. I thought it odd that they were all wearing large, dark sunglasses. I suddenly felt very sleepy, and laid my head down. The next thing I knew, it was morning. I woke up, and without saying a word, crawled into the driver's seat, started the van and began to drive. My wife quietly joined me. As we left the campground, we passed the other couple. The man hopped out of his camper truck and ran out into the road waving his arms for us to stop. His wife or girlfriend ran after him, shaking her head and saying, "No! No!" She drug him back to their truck. My wife and I both watched this peculiar event, but still said nothing to each other. It was as if we were pre-programmed to leave the campground as quickly as possible. In fact, we drove for about 15 miles before my wife said, "Wow. The moon sure was bright last night." As soon as she said that, I realized that I had seen a crescent moon set earlier the night before. Then whole encounter came crashing back to both of us as if we finally woke up. We were driving but didn't even know where we going. We turned around right away and went back to the campground to see if the other couple was still there. When we got there, they were gone. We parked the van exactly where it had been the night before and got into the back. When we looked out the rear window, a mountain peak blocked the sky- so the light we saw was not the moon. And when we took note of where the men's heads were in our rear window, we realized they were all about 4 and 1/2 feet tall.
Not sure what happened, or what it all means, but I still get goosebumps when I think about it. - iclous, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Very funny!!!

- geoffderuiter, on 11/09/2009, -1/+2I totally agree that physical evidence does exist but it is controlled. Implants have been removed that are not anything we can identify and they come from people that have supposedly been abducted. There are videos and images of crafts or objects flying in the sky, one good example are the Billy Meier photographs (and yes the majority can be explained as hoaxes or normal objects such as Chinese lanterns or balloons but around 5-15% cannot be explained). There is this video of a crash site in Russia that was purported to be the real deal and has not been debunked yet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ni37bA5cD4. There are current and ex military official that gave given testimony as to the existence of ETs researching and interacting with us http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vyVe-6YdUk and in a court of law that is evidence. There are technologies that did not exist before 1947 (the year of the Roswell crash) such as Nitinol (that flexible metal in glasses frames) and were only discovered by the military and was the exact material described by the individuals that witnessed the Roswell crash debris, see Jesse Marcel Jr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTrySDqQkVg
The Military has some fantastic technologies and I am sure they have some even more amazing things they are keeping as insurance. Is it so hard to think they wouldn't tell us about this kind of phenomenon? I think it makes logical sense to keep it under wraps and I don't blame them for doing so.
I am not exactly saying anything, this is all just something to think of. - Propethic, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1What physical evidence exists that can't be explained away or not conclusively tied to aliens?
- themastersb, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1Although "olo gist" and "aulo gist" are the same thing.
- transapien, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1That actually is pretty damn funny
- Xaguta, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1i actually had this happen to me once. I didn't sight any aliens but i had this loud repeating buzzing noise in my ear which continued after i woke up. when i opened my eyes i could see the walls going up and down as if on acid and i couldn't move a muscle. it felt as if ants were walking over my entire body. I regained full body control in about a minute. i just figured it was some after-effect of doing drugs until i saw an programme on this subject.
- ldailey06, on 11/09/2009, -1/+2I'm confused, how do you get from Drake's equation to we're being visited by aliens?
- ell0bo, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1I've also heard it compared that modern 'aliens' are the same thing as angels of old. Instead of being magical, they now have technology as our species evolves.
- alrightwtf, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1i don't get how you do it....
- BrownieMix, on 11/09/2009, -1/+1I'm reading a book called The Walton Experience. Very interesting stuff, even if it's all fake.
- infinitus64, on 11/09/2009, -2/+2Google drake's equation they are only wrong about visitation you are ignorant of the fact that most cosmologists say their is intelligence out there but has not visited.
- fingerflinger, on 11/09/2009, -1/+1They did? Thank goodness.
- llamagoelz, on 11/09/2009, -1/+1thank you
- ldailey06, on 11/09/2009, -1/+1"idiot"
- GregLoire, on 11/09/2009, -1/+1Whoa, you're planning to get a degree in astrobiology? Gather around, everyone -- the master has entered!
- supramkiii, on 11/09/2009, -2/+1I am an alien
- GregLoire, on 11/08/2009, -8/+7Regarding the "just the facts" section... It's true that there's a lack of evidence for actual abductions or encounters with biological life forms, and it's true that a great majority of UFO sightings/videos/photos are hoaxes or rationally explained, but it's a logical fallacy to allow these things to lead to the outright dismissal of (an admittedly small percentage of) evidence that simply cannot be explained.
WHY DID HISTORY CHANNEL CANCEL UFO HUNTERS?!?! DAMN YOUUUUUU... - Tophillious, on 11/08/2009, -8/+2so.. how exactly do you pronounce "ufologist"?
- syntaxgs, on 11/08/2009, -9/+3ummmm I think they ar ethe maean it a Third Kind =P
- elanthedon, on 11/08/2009, -15/+7I've actually had an Alien encounter and it was pretty rad.. Here's a little known fact, MrBabyMan is an alien... It's the only theory that makes sense
