Alex Albrecht from Diggnation lets Kevin one up him on digg!
farm3.static.flickr.com — I think Alex is very entertaining, but I couldn't help but laugh when I saw while digging yesterday, that Alex from Diggnation hasn't been active on Digg in 22 days ! Kevin on the other hand is very active daily. =)
- 231 diggs
- digg it
- wizeguyztees, on 05/15/2008, -10/+3Great find, I had to digg it.
- MikeonTV, on 05/15/2008, -0/+12Do you practice everything you preach?
- TalSiach, on 05/15/2008, -2/+6Dugg for the good laugh.
- Culex, on 05/15/2008, -0/+36So?
- edilclyde, on 05/15/2008, -2/+10i know, who gives a *****. he still delivers on every diggnation episode.
- swordedge, on 05/15/2008, -0/+14This has always been true. Alex has interest in other places. He is a comedian so that is where you will find his non Diggnation activities.
- lordtyros, on 05/15/2008, -3/+2It's not that he's not on, it's that he doesn't use his main username regularly. Anonymity is nice sometimes. Also, who cares about this? Buried.
- xdvx, on 05/15/2008, -6/+3Can't they hire someone?
- victorycig, on 05/15/2008, -1/+5Don't you threaten my Alex!
- DeskFlyer, on 05/15/2008, -1/+32Thank goodness you provided the arrows; I would have never found their names otherwise.
- iDe1337, on 05/15/2008, -0/+11Took me a while until I noticed those arrows, they're such a life saver!
- bamafun, on 05/15/2008, -1/+9ok ok so my arrows suck
- iDe1337, on 05/15/2008, -0/+11Took me a while until I noticed those arrows, they're such a life saver!
- mciampa1214, on 05/15/2008, -1/+8Is this really the right way to get the message to him?
- EASwanson, on 05/15/2008, -0/+9Maybe he wasn't logged in while browsing?
- teriyakisause, on 05/15/2008, -8/+4Alex will log in just to bury this.
- implied, on 05/15/2008, -5/+8Holy ***** who cares.
- cr4ft, on 05/15/2008, -0/+23It's almost like he has a life outside of digg!
- placidified, on 05/15/2008, -6/+1almost? he does have a girlfriend and has moved in with her.
- treelovinhippie, on 05/15/2008, -0/+8WoW: More addictive than Digg.
- floort, on 05/15/2008, -6/+4I think it's funny that bamafun only has 7 friends and three are Digg folks (if you include the Diggnation id)
- bamafun, on 05/15/2008, -0/+2that wasn't my profile shown in the picture - I was reading a shout someone had sent me and noticed it on their profile =)
- cyberdork, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1I think it's funny that floort has 1000 'friends'. My experience is that the number of 'friends' people have on social networking sites are usually inverse proportional to the number of friends they have in real life...
And seriously, 1000 friends in 6 weeks? That makes the whole friends function of digg completely useless. Amazingly pathetic. - MasteRR, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1This is not Myspace, no one gives a *****.
- xTRUMANx, on 05/15/2008, -1/+5I've got a friend who logged into digg twice in two years. Most people on digg are just clicking the links and not really participating (e.g. digging, commenting, submitting) and hence the reason why diggs don't regularly go over 2~4 thousands. I would assume Alex himself probably is active on digg but doesn't bother logging in unless something is digg-worthy.
- digitaldivinci, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1I find myself switching computers often and if I get logged out due to cookie expiration or what have you I tend to stay out for weeks. I still read the site multiple times per hour if I am watching TV, but I just started logging in so I could finally clear the homepage of all the Pro Obama/Anti Hillary articles. I support the guy, but I come here for tech news as well as the occasional important information. I really don't care who got drunk on an airplane.
- NitrousFlare, on 05/15/2008, -0/+13Alex always "hasn't seen this yet" on diggnation.
He's a good host though, so what's it matter?- bamafun, on 05/15/2008, -0/+8it doesn't - i agree he is a great host - i just found it amusing ..... in a good way =)
- jaychuck, on 05/15/2008, -0/+3Alex is too busy to Digg. He's watching episodes of The Totally Rad Show.
- MaxMWood, on 05/15/2008, -1/+3More like, WoW: Its not an addiction, its just a hobby that 6million people have.
- chrozz, on 05/15/2008, -0/+4sound a little defensive ehh.
- HUSTLER101, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1Maybe reaching frontpage for him has become tougher with the new rules .
- HUSTLER101, on 05/15/2008, -2/+1With all that money coming in who gives a ***** .
- NinjaPirateDude, on 05/15/2008, -1/+1This did not need to exist......
- gl77, on 05/15/2008, -1/+1i really dont give a flying *****. and i do not see how in the hell this made front page.
- dragonhell, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1You do realise that Kevin has a much more vested interested in what happens on Digg.com, what with it being an idea he had a while back that has turned into a decent product? If I had come up with the idea, hell yeah I'd wanna be as active as I could possibly be.
Alex only co-hosts a show about popular stories on Digg, which does not necessarily mean that he even has to use it. - mystdragon333, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1This is awful. I'm going to wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat over this.
- dullnation, on 05/15/2008, -0/+0Its kinda worse when Kevin talks about his own submissions that haven't even reached front page. Whats "social" about that?
