- maxman137, on 10/12/2007, -0/+59And Alex still sits on the same side of the couch.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -19/+62holy ***** that was gay.
- eplawless, on 10/12/2007, -0/+41I actually kind of expected alex to punch him in the face?
- treelovinhippie, on 10/12/2007, -4/+43Where's the fist fight?
I was expecting Alex to do his warm-up thing and then KO the other dude and take off with the butterfinger. - Skizzot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15Its weird. I expected the same thing.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15"they'll win a Macbook"
So what do I get from this? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+16AWESOME! A laptop signed by two ordinary guys! I've always wanted one like that!
- Polymira, on 11/05/2007, -8/+19Why is it that people take youtube comments and re-post them here?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+14I don't think alex should appear in videos anymore untill his voice breaks.
- McTim, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11I'm not usually one to be negative, but that was pretty lame.
- eplawless, on 10/12/2007, -5/+14and that, kiddies, is called "psychological projection"
- kenhigginson, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10...does Alex really need more free stuff? Let's review:
* He wanted Digg users to petition to get him cast as the Joker in the next 'Batman' movie ("anyhoo, Batman... so here's the deal")
* He cried about his old laptop until Falcon Northwest sent him the blue DiggNation one he has now
* Free Silver Bullet mixer
* Free beer bottle openers
* Didn't he want someone to shout his name at the Tenacious D premiere?
* wanted Microsoft to send him a free Zune so they could 'review' it (kinda wish they had, he deserves a Zune. It's the iPod killa-be-killa, yo)
...and yeah, I know he's an 'actor' but watching 40 hours of TV a week isn't a short-cut to getting a guest spot on 'Joey'. - dangerousLEH, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Where at "Follow the finger" do you vote for the video?
EDIT: Nevermind... I'm an idiot, It's under "win it". - surgen, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9Anyone else notice the geekdrome themesong in the background?
- bobothn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Him selling something signed is no more ridiculous than any one else selling a signature. after all even the most famous people around are just another guy. also he might not be as famous as paris Hilton but there are a hell of a lot more people that know who he is then know who you are.
- flaminio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Holy crap that was lame.
- Braulio, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6@steele
they aren't big time celebrities but they are for us tech fans, not including you obviously - 4815162342, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6that was ridiculously not funny.
- bobothn, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5what is really interesting is that kevin sits on the same side. because kevin is always on the right in every show he has ever done. all the way back to the techtv days.i wonder if it is just a running gag or what.
//edit i just realized you meant alex is on the left in this video witch makes my other comment not really related// - splatnik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3would have been funnier if they were fighting over a butt-plug
- xboxgamer91, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3DUPLICATE STORY!!!! The guy who directed it Daniel Trachtenberg(co-host of the popular Geekdrome) submitted this 24 days ago. Please learn how to use the search button, it's there for a reason.
http://www.digg.com/videos_comedy/Alex_Albrecht_in_new_Butterfinger_sketch_comedy_short_film - cleverboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It's not weird. Who the ***** would let someone else have the last Butterfinger? Come on now.
- Stimpo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3DUPLICATE STORY....ALEX POSTED THIS AWHILE AGO..........
- haackers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Alex is the ***** man, that was the funniest ***** I have ever seen
- hypnotizd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I want to know what I win for having to sit through that.
- goob, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I entered this Butterfinger challenge video contest in October, but wasn't selected for the final 10. When I saw that this was one of the videos that "beat" mine, I was a bit pissed. Whoever selected the final videos to vote on did a craptacular job.
- Frankie4Fingers, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4This is funny... took some planning.
- wickedtribe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Why ya'll smashin' on the dude? When he starts doing some conceded ***** I would not do I will call him on it. If I could get Falcon to send me a machine I would take it. If people wanted to send me free ***** I would take it. For some reason there seem to be a lot of people who don't like that. I find that funny cause most people are like "Hmmm Free *****, where?"
Oh yeah I would sign any laptop I sold too if I knew there where a few ten thousand people out there who watched me every week. It would make someone happy (though I probably still wouldn't understand why) because there is someone put there that would appreciate the signature.
He's cool with me. His video - while having a funny concept and making me snicker a little - was not all that cool. I was just a little confused by how pissy people are being. - waconner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1unfortunately it is not that entertaining. I don't suppose they made a pitch for the Super Bowl commercial contest as well?
- mattyxo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1More like he always used to mention his girlfriend in every episode and he knew it!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3"have to say, not that funny, but it got my vote cause i like alex."
People like you are killing digg. - keesj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1A couple of (diggnation) episodes ago they talked about it. I can't remember what the actual reason was though.
- kenhigginson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think there was one episode of diggnation where he mentions he has a girlfriend.
...maybe he says it in two episodes. - Gatesophile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hey, I love the guy. Having something signed by him would kick ass.
- JerodSlay, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2wow. fist fight???? where I come from, we call that Rock, Paper, Scissors.
Good beginning. Gay ending. Should have been Alex opens it and eats it and the other guy starts crying or something. - JorgeGonzalez, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4All those movies were terrible, even for amateur web videos. I thought the animated one was the best, but I voted for Alex because he's Alex. It was the second best, though.
- LastDays, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1anybody notice the geekdrome theme song in the background?
- Steele, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I just find it a little conceited that he thinks his name on a macbook would make it a higher value. If you agree with him... fair enough.
- eaasness, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The Rico Starr video is pretty funny too.
- mrlynn, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4When is Alex going to come out of the closet!?
- Gatesophile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ahh we all know that even though Alex has a girlfriend him and Kevin get it on every night.
(which would be quite hot, by the way...) - furashi, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Love it!
- skizzle, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Veteran RPS'ers will instantly recognize the thumbs-up move as the "hand grenade."
Usually not allowed in competition play due to balancing issues... - hutectro, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2What bunch of ***** FAKE!!! FAKE!!!
Alex is an actor he did this for the camera - Gatesophile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1but Alex is hot! even though he has a girlfriend... :(
But yes, I would love anything signed by him (even if it HAS to be a macbook...) - TheBlackLeopard, on 10/12/2007, -10/+10I agree. Alex does seem to think he is a celebrity... he's an out of work actor whose parents probably still pay for his appartment.
- TheUberman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The Rico Starr video ROCKS! Way funnier than that lame "rock paper scissors".
- NorthStateGonzo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Dude,
That would be a Great commercial for ButterFinger.... I want more of the Broken! - Rain-X, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Buried as fricken horribly lame.
- sl33stak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Looks like most of the commentors have no sense of humor. That was funny as hell!
