- yocouchdigga, on 10/02/2009, -1/+35The fact that someone as dumb as Kirk Cameron is believed by people, is traumatizing enough for me.
- Testies, on 10/01/2009, -1/+31"Beloved" is a bit of a overstatement.
.. - joenuck89, on 10/01/2009, -0/+27"The price is wrong, bitch."
- Marcinn, on 10/02/2009, -0/+20Bart, Remember ALF?
Well, He's back! In Pog Form! - acroyear2, on 10/01/2009, -1/+21"Nothing offends the Lord more than a nice pair of pert yams."
- NoticeDesign, on 10/02/2009, -0/+20I was an atheist until I saw Cameron's banana video on youtube.
- OptykUnreal, on 10/01/2009, -0/+15If they offend God so much, why did he make them so nice? That was my thought when I read Kirk Cameron's douche reaction.
- rushiku, on 10/02/2009, -0/+13Ah, a fellow Bananologist.
I gotta say though, given that all other food is not made perfect by god for human consumption and is, therefore, not to be eaten, I'm not feeling well. - InternetJordo, on 10/02/2009, -0/+11Can you imagine the shenanigans that would have occurred if Kirk Cameron was on Alf instead of Growing Pains?
- TalahRama, on 10/02/2009, -0/+10I'm 20 and how the ***** do you not know The Price is Right?
- poprocksandsoda, on 10/02/2009, -3/+9Forget about the cast, I'm still getting over the Different Strokes where Dudley gets molested by the Maytag Repairman.

This episode mortified me as a kid. - stuartjmoore, on 10/02/2009, -0/+5I was straight until I saw Cameron's banana video on youtube.
- hoodedrobin, on 10/02/2009, -0/+5Back then when she was only a slightly ***** up alcoholic I wouldn't have minded seeing Brett Butler *****... Now though probably not a good idea.

....what?....? - NoticeDesign, on 10/02/2009, -0/+4If the banana was designed specifically for us by God, then conversely the coconut was designed specifically by Satan. The great tropical tree fruit battle was staged at the dawn of time itself. Those that drink pina coladas or eat mounds candy bars bare the mark of the beast.
- NoticeDesign, on 10/02/2009, -1/+5You didn't know The Price Is Right existed? *****.
- stuffradio, on 10/02/2009, -0/+4I think this 22 year old lived in the closet... I know about all these shows!
- theDashRendar, on 10/02/2009, -1/+5How about "Six shows you might have been vaguely aware of..."
- ParticleMan420, on 10/02/2009, -0/+3yea, but think about the people that believe him.
'nuff said - TheMachine1, on 10/02/2009, -2/+4I would like to see ALF resume his acting career. Sad to hear he worked with a bunch of unprofessional hacks.
- Remelox, on 10/02/2009, -0/+2From what I understand, MASH should have been on the list.
- MrZaiko, on 10/02/2009, -0/+2Do you buy Maytag appliance with extended warranty?
- TomGfromCanada, on 10/03/2009, -0/+1read this backward, start with #1
- DWatch, on 10/02/2009, -0/+1I can totally see how this could be... 10 year-olds often have no memory of shows that went off the air 10 years ago.... lol.
- samanathon, on 10/05/2009, -0/+1Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2z-OLG0KyR4
- secrity, on 10/12/2009, -0/+1TPiR is a classic, and is still on. People used to talk about Alf, but the rest were just shows listed in TV Guide that I never watched or cared about.
- palehorse864, on 10/02/2009, -5/+5Or, don't read a satire article writer's jokes as direct quotes? Never assume jokes are dead on what happened. If a joke is too true, it typically isn't funny. It seems odd to quote the simpsons on this (or paraphrase based upon poor memory.)
Krusty: "I looked in a phonebook, and it had white pages AND yellow pages... What's next BLUE PAGES!?"
Lisa: "They have blue pages, they're government listings."
Krusty's joke wasn't that funny in the first place, but it would have been funnier to somebody who didn't know about pages. It's the "this is getting ridiculous" style of joke. When you inject 100% accuracy into it, it's about as funny as a textbook. Jokes often work off of extreme exaggeration or missing bits of information.
Or if you want to take a Mitch Hedberg joke and ruin it (RIP you funny funny man)
Mitch: "On a traffic light yellow means yield, and green means go. On a banana, it's just the opposite, yellow means go ahead, green means stop, and red means, where'd you get that banana?"
Voice of Joke Ruining Pedantry and Accuracy: "Umm, Red bananas come from Costa Rica, and they sell them at grocery stores like Morrisons."
Mitch: "Dude, you ruined that joke. That was... All-encompassingly not cool!"
I think he later said himself he wasn't proud of some of his actions, but I do think if you're viewing it solely from this article, you have a screwed up picture. - lolerskate, on 10/02/2009, -2/+1Oh price is right sure, the rest never saw it nor heard of it not that i care really.
- NYConcepts, on 10/02/2009, -5/+1Martin was the BEST show on that list.
- lolerskate, on 10/02/2009, -6/+1Aside ALF i never watched any of those...or even knew they existed.
- S7aind, on 10/02/2009, -6/+1Bob is even more of a badass in my book now.
- TonyTheTerrible, on 10/02/2009, -11/+3im 22 years old, and i have no idea what any of those shows are
i heard something abou an alf pog on the simpsons like, 10 years ago or something.
