- donkz, on 12/15/2007, -7/+123Your grandchildren will definitely get a blast scrolling through picture section
- ChromaVita, on 12/15/2007, -9/+99Poor Edgar Jones...
- stickmen, on 12/15/2007, -3/+82All the comments buried already, must be all the 13 year olds :D
- AlexPod, on 12/15/2007, -9/+78Werthers FTW!?
- goingtoalpha, on 12/15/2007, -1/+66If kids are having kids at 15, then by 60 they could be great-great-grandparents!
- OutAndAbout, on 12/15/2007, -2/+65Well don't get me started. I remember when Facebook was a little tiny startup and we had to walk 10 miles uphill through the driving snow to get on the interweb....
- inactive, on 12/15/2007, -3/+5630 years more like 60 but whatever. unless all the 20 somethings are going to be like that in their late 40's early 50's
- latrosicarius, on 12/15/2007, -2/+45Because you said this, I'm guessing you're about 15? Sometimes you change your interests when you get older. Sometimes you don't. This generation is the internet generation. Why the hell would you think we'd all just *stop* going online as soon as we get old? Do you think that as soon as you turn 80 you start to like bingo and knitting for no reason?
- rabidmonkey1, on 12/15/2007, -2/+44Old people deserve facebooks, too! This world isn't just for young people, what with your fancy, new-fangled euthanasia systems and all your young-bodied energy! Old people have every right to sit back and complain online and you have to sit there and listen to it ss..sss...sonny......
*dies and crumbles like an indiana jones type corpse* - Mikey9oo, on 12/15/2007, -1/+3630 years? Most people on Facebook are in their 20's or younger....
- freakk123, on 12/15/2007, -0/+32If I still have a facebook and it looks like that when I'm 49 (30 years from now) I'll be very unhappy.
- cran, on 12/15/2007, -0/+32Are you kids planning on changing your names to "Vera", "Gerald", "Edna" and so on? Or does that just happen one day when you hit 50?
- inactive, on 12/15/2007, -4/+35yes?
- theferno, on 12/15/2007, -3/+33"Vera is complaining about modern music...where's the melody?"
are you saying popular music now like good charlotte and t-pain has melody? lmao. - kpaphysicist, on 12/15/2007, -0/+21Wrong. Our kids won't let us use the internet.
- Lanage, on 12/15/2007, -3/+23Coral Cache FTW: http://www.johncow.us.nyud.net:8090/misc/30yearsfa ...
- HanSolo69, on 12/15/2007, -0/+16I don't plan to look that old when i'm 50.
- haasim, on 12/15/2007, -6/+17I just looked at the pic and I didn't find it particularly funny. Especially since most Facebook users are teenagers, so I don't see how they will age 60 years within three decades. Also, those stupid tombstone icons and frequent references to funerals were distasteful. I don't understand why it's so fashionable to make fun of the elderly.
Seriously, I'm so sick of it. Just a while ago there was some video of an old man walking slowly down on a sidewalk. Naturally, the YouTube comments consisted of taunts and heckles directed at the old man. Really, what the ***** is that? Is it so hard to have some god damn respect towards seniors? We're all going to get old and die (or we might not make it to old age and die anyway). And as I approach the end, the last thing I would want to see is some dumb ass kid's idea of a joke--mocking my frailty and mortality.
And don't tell me that old people can't be offended because they don't use the Internet--that's only a ***** mentality that allows for jokes like this to be made in the first place. - HomieG6189, on 12/15/2007, -0/+10http://i11.tinypic.com/85wkd9e.gif MIRROR
- nlke182, on 12/15/2007, -0/+1030 years from now and we are still stuck in web 2.0 that is depressing.
- Ecco2, on 12/15/2007, -0/+10For once in my life, Facebook ads were actually funny :-)
- weaselfingers, on 12/15/2007, -0/+10Just like poor Edgar Jones. D:
- celkin, on 12/16/2007, -0/+9Only 30 years? I sure hope I don't look like THAT when I'm 48.
- theferno, on 12/15/2007, -0/+9what's with the sudden splurge of deaths from people in their 50s?
- euro22, on 12/17/2008, -0/+9Wow, I didn't even notice the ad. I guess my mind just naturally blocks them out.
- AmICoolNow, on 12/16/2007, -0/+8...I don't think you understand what that phrase means.
- topace3000, on 12/15/2007, -0/+8I remember when it used to be, before all the idiotic "apps" started popping up.
- crossmr, on 12/15/2007, -4/+12are you saying good charlotte is currently popular?
- palta38, on 12/15/2007, -1/+8http://i11.tinypic.com/85wkd9e.gif
- Me1000, on 12/15/2007, -1/+8IDK about you, but a lot of my friends (and myself) still use "is" in our status!
- OutAndAbout, on 12/15/2007, -1/+8The internet will use them.
- theferno, on 12/15/2007, -1/+7seeing how there newest garbage song has been on the billboard charts for 14 weeks now.. yes
http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/retrieve_chart_hist ... - Karmavs, on 12/15/2007, -0/+6While it's nowhere near the monstrosity that is myspace - Facebook could hardly be called 'clean & uncluttered'.
- amawg9, on 12/15/2007, -1/+6the best part is the werthers ad bottom left.
- juliolarri, on 12/15/2007, -0/+5in 30 years we wont be able to get outside. *sigh*...
- macewan, on 12/16/2007, -1/+5By then it'll be FaceLiftBook.
- BruceBogtrotter, on 12/16/2007, -0/+4"Because you said this, I'm guessing you're about 15?"
Yes. Look at his picture. - Bamborzled, on 12/15/2007, -0/+4Really? I thought you could measure the average Digger's age by reading one article in the politics section.
- inactive, on 12/15/2007, -7/+11And down (or too slow for my tastes) at 67 diggs. Who's got a mirror?
- Hello1024, on 12/15/2007, -1/+5getting pensioners on the net is a fairly huge potential market - I wouldn't be surprised to see something like pensionbook in a few years, to be purchased complete with a super-easy use set-top computer with big buttons and large fonts.
After all, most old people must get a bit bored doing the crossword and knitting all day every day... - Archon810, on 12/15/2007, -0/+4very clever ad placement.
- atonement, on 12/16/2007, -0/+4"i know that i want have kids for at least 15 years" so, you'll be bearing children for quite some time then, no?
- inactive, on 12/15/2007, -0/+4you dont need to see any, if you dont want to see it dont click on the link.
- inactive, on 12/15/2007, -3/+7I guess "Is" will be back sometime in the future...?
inaccurate. - Mearn, on 12/15/2007, -0/+4Fast food and video games
- juliolarri, on 12/15/2007, -1/+5it´s global warming!!!!
- riggs32, on 12/15/2007, -1/+4i was thinking the exact same thing. facebook is used mostly in college, 30 years from now the average user would be around 50 not 70 lol
- inactive, on 12/15/2007, -0/+330 years? so youre like 50?
- chatzimcfee, on 12/16/2007, -0/+3"so i don't know how you get grandparents are age 50-60"
You're an idiot. He is saying that there AREN'T grandparents at age 50-60. In the pic, people are all grandparents, 30 years into the future. Considering the average Facebooker is 20-30, in 30 years they WON'T be grandparents like in this image. -
