- sully213, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Just wait, Before long you too will have hundreds and hundreds of Starbucks. They're going to take over the world!
- Eskapismus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7they are already closing em down again in europe. The thing is that we allways had good coffe in europe and an american store is not the place we look for it
- Wonkanobi, on 10/10/2007, -22/+52Wait, did the submitter just apologize for NOT posting blogspam?
- carcass350, on 10/10/2007, -1/+57It's not blogspam when you link to the actual website that just happens to be a blog.
- floppyparty, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2haha. god, now we can't see how the 20 google ads respond to the one-half paragraph of text on his blog.
- madtaco, on 10/10/2007, -1/+30The originating site can't be considered blogspam.
- cramd, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5I did not want to submit to a site that was down, and finding something that was not blog-spam was a tough task.
- cbdgr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1"TOTAL STORES REPEAED BY MISTAKE: 6 (Above in bold)"
from the time line doc, I guess after 100 or so starbucks they all start to look the same, oh wait they already to.
- Wonkanobi, on 10/10/2007, -3/+90I went from thinking this was stupid to thinking it was a really well made video to really rooting for the guy. Calling out the employee who took the bribe was icing on the cake.
- sintaxi, on 10/10/2007, -9/+4I do not condone calling out the employee. Without her, he would have faild and he seamed happy to pay it,
- Diorhomme, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I agree completely, she did him a HUGE favor and he just spit on her.

- betobeto, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8After 171 Frappaccinos? Not unlikely.
- kaph, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3There must have been a wait at the optometrist to hit all of them before he could get in :)
- cramd, on 10/10/2007, -0/+20from what I understand you need to have at least one typo, or grammatical error, in the description. My bad
- Mizzike, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Oh, how our grammar escapes us. The first sentence starts without a capital letter and the closing sentence ends without a period. For shame.
- themastersb, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1Shouldn't he be dead?
- Mikecol, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Why?
- Regulator980, on 10/10/2007, -4/+39After that story on Man vs. Wild, I can't trust anything anymore. High marks for editing, but I have my doubts about authenticity. He had time to set up certain shots of him running back and forth from various angles. His speech also felt somewhat scripted. This isn't to say that it didn't really happen, but you just never know anymore.

- klovisskudgens, on 10/10/2007, -18/+3Wow.... thats almost $900 worth of Coffee. I haven't spent that much on Coffee throughout my entire life
- kalleanka, on 10/10/2007, -2/+16Next time, watch the video before you comment! He said it was $360-something in total, including the $80 bribe.
- spect3r, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Well, after 171 Starbucks your "sight" would be down!

- russvan, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9How would transportation be a problem? Just consume the "entire" product instead of only part and sprint from starbucks to starbucks!
- EnP24, on 10/10/2007, -6/+45"how long?"
"6 mins"
"that SUCKS!"- bluechips23, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3That's what she said!
- TygerrTygerr, on 10/10/2007, -7/+2Ouch, dude can't act at all. Good for him though, he didn't look like a mysterious orange blur to me but maybe I just wasn't paying attention.
- cafman, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1I watched a documentary about a guy who has been doing this for years. It's called Starbucking or something like that.
- gr3yn3t, on 10/10/2007, -6/+11from the recent msnbc.com caffeine story:
"In a spoof on this caffeine arms race, the site Energyfiend.com launched a "death by caffeine calculator" that shows a 180-pound adult would have to down 44 tall cups of Starbucks coffee before checking in to the big java house in the sky."
171 would put him in the hospital, no question.- SmashA444, on 10/10/2007, -2/+35He definitely didn't get a coffee at each place, most were just a little piece of cake or bread.
- BlackCow, on 10/10/2007, -1/+22Do people even bother to WTFV?
- thenome, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1But he did it all day, not one after another
- dwoo12, on 10/10/2007, -2/+57Reminds me of the Futurama episode where Fry spent his $300 on 100 cups of coffee. By the 100th cup, he should have been moving as if he was an orange blur... what happened?
- barbobot, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12He was moving as an orange blur.
- JohnnyRad, on 10/10/2007, -16/+3he didn't do what he said. He claimed he could do it in 1 day, when in fact it took 2. Wah-wahhhhh
- Camote, on 10/10/2007, -2/+19~22 hours < 24 hours == did it within 1 day.
- JohnnyRad, on 10/10/2007, -15/+2doing it entirely on a friday is 1 day.
doing it from a friday to a saturday is 2 days.
there is a difference between saying 24 hours and a day.- MasterChi, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7But how many hours are in a day? 24 hours as Camote said.
- JohnnyRad, on 10/10/2007, -15/+2doing it entirely on a friday is 1 day.
- BlackCow, on 10/10/2007, -3/+3Oh shut up, he did it in 22 hrs, thats enough.
- JohnnyRad, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1raaaaawrrrr!! at any rate, its still a guy blowing over $300 on coffee products.
- Camote, on 10/10/2007, -2/+19~22 hours < 24 hours == did it within 1 day.
- leezy, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0Anyone see that documentary called Starbucking? I wonder which came first because someone is obviously copying or spoofing the other...
- mseneschal, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6His shaking will blend in with crack heads in NY.
- gpdrummr, on 10/10/2007, -5/+0holy crappp

"Not within a lifetime."
Somebody shoot that man.. please?- Cloud7654, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3"Nine hundred and ninety nine octillion, nine hundred and ninety nine septillion, nine hundred..."

- Johnnell, on 10/10/2007, -4/+26Personally, i would have found a better use of $369.14
- parkermauney, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Half of photoshop!
(yeah right)
- parkermauney, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Half of photoshop!
- hausome, on 10/10/2007, -14/+2Supposedly this took two days not one, according to a YouTube comment...
- Gatesophile, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5But YouTube comments bring out the lowlife of the internet. And that is DEFINITELY saying something.
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 10/10/2007, -8/+1Fake!
- tazz93, on 10/10/2007, -4/+4Wait. Why would he want starbucks at all? Choose a better shop.
- InitialDMP5, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5maybe because there is 171 one of them in a relatively small area. I live in San Francisco, and there as got to be pretty close to the many here as well. On my walk to school I pass at least 10, and that is less than 2 miles.
- Pureeviljester, on 10/10/2007, -6/+7Fake. and let me tell you why.
369.14 divided by 171 = $2.15 that's not including the 80 dollar biscotti. i detect some bs. what is 2 dollars in starbucks?- NeoCortex, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10He did get a biscotti for a dollar. The only $80 item was the one pound cake.
- Pureeviljester, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1that's what i meant.. 80 dollar pound cake.
well if he got a discount in every store he went for no apparent reason other than he had a camera behind him. Ima go to best buy and try the same thing.
- Pureeviljester, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1that's what i meant.. 80 dollar pound cake.
- Bklynadam, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10a grande coffee is $2.05 with tax. however I think some stores do "refills" if you bring in a cup then the coffe is only 50cents or so. I could be wrong.
- sickswaystop, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4so to do your math for you:
$369.14 (total said spend) - 81.00 ($1 biscotti + $80 pound cake) = $288.14 (represents how much he spent in total at the 169 starbucks)
soooo $288.14 divided by 169 is $1.70
whats $1.70?? perhaps his shots of expresso were exactly that.. nothing more nothing less, 50 cents if im not mistaken, no wonder he got so many hah- Pureeviljester, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1" That's a good question. A tall coffee is a little more than 2 dollars. An espresso shot the same.
Best Regards,
Mark "
I messaged him on myspace and this is what he sent back. both a little over 2 dollars.
I don't know why prices in NY is less than VA but we definitely don't have 2 dollar talls in my area
- Pureeviljester, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1" That's a good question. A tall coffee is a little more than 2 dollars. An espresso shot the same.
- NeoCortex, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10He did get a biscotti for a dollar. The only $80 item was the one pound cake.

- boredaghast, on 10/10/2007, -5/+2Before I could see the whole title in Firefox's live book marks I thought it said shakes more than Michael J Fox.
- Bklynadam, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8The Starbucks where he ends at is my favorite 24 hour hang out. Perfect for writing law school papers the night before they are due. That is, if you can ignore all the crazy people talking to themselves at the table next to you.
- dmonnin, on 10/10/2007, -5/+0WTF he went on Iphone day!
- OpCzar, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Would make for a nice ad for Starbucks if he only removed the last commentary.
