http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETc7g96ZHZk&NR - SugeKnight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I loved how he read a "letter from a fan" on Mind on Mencia, that was hilarious! Young Frankenstein is still one of my favorite movies to date! God rest his soul!
- airencracken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Great movie, great actor. Great post.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Mel Brooks' best movie.
I thought that George Carlin hosted the first episode of SNL. - BluKnight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7It was a comment on the Digg story of Peter Boyle's death. I found the video extremely funny. I'm glad it was posted as its own digg.
- furdine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Don't miss the fantastic mashup of this clip:

I won't give away the surprise, but it's one of my all-time favorites. - ironbear, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Wonderful scene. RIP Mr. Boyle.
- isemism, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Monolith2, I'm not old, I just have good taste. Unfortunately, elementary school obviously is failing you in the culture department.
- Skidlz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5We all miss you.
R.I.P. - yllabianbitpipe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5That movie is a perfect example of classic Mel Brooks humor where things aren't super funny, but they're just enough stupid funny that it ends up being really funny. Almost as if the actors know it's all ridiculous and know just how straight to play everything to make it funnier. Sorry if that made no sense, but everything about that film is awesome. As soon as I read the headline, I could hear Peter Boyle's hollering. It's ingrained in my subconcious...

Get lost, *****. - kd1s, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I absolutely love collaborations and Young Frankenstein is a classic from all time, and one of my absolute favorites. Boyle was brilliant as the monster.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Also, can anyone believe they almost cut the Puttin' on the Ritz sequence from the movie (according to the DVD commentary)!!
Stupid studio execs!! - bagism347, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This is so sad, he was such a funny man.

Uh, not to speak ill of the deceased, but I always thought that Peter Boyle's Young Frankenstein (or +"stien") kinda looks like Steve Ballmer. - theehman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2He was great in "Hardcore" w/ George C. Scott.

- PrometheuZ, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Imagine this 'Monolith2'...It's a boil on your peter. Imagine this...Abscesses occur when an area of tissue becomes infected and the body is able to "wall off" the infection to keep it from spreading. White blood cells, the body's defense against some types of infection, migrate through the walls of the blood vessels into the area of the infection and collect within the damaged tissue. During this process "pus" forms, which is an accumulation of fluid, living and dead white blood cells, dead tissue, and bacteria or other foreign invaders or materials.
