- inactive, on 12/07/2007, -8/+70Low amounts of food + Drugs = death.
I wish societies could move away from the destructive art of modeling. - Waskonator, on 12/07/2007, -3/+61What I am going to say is pretty ***** but, When i read the caption under the photo in the article I read "The Police Will Probe the Model's Corpse" and I thought.... wow. Why did they have to say that?
Obviously, thats not what it actually says. - 66o66o, on 12/07/2007, -2/+47What caused it, i think everybody is thinking the same thing. speed balls. the Colombian flu took another life.
very sad though. Rip - Vanan, on 12/07/2007, -6/+46Pretty white girl, that's all we need to know.
- Antitheft, on 12/07/2007, -5/+40Your parents failed you, and society.
- greevar, on 12/07/2007, -4/+30My cousins died in a house fire when they were just under the age of 5. Why wasn't that national news? Oh, that's right, they're not celebrities. A death is tragic, especially a young person, but publicizing it like this is disgraceful to the others that die every day.
- bonkeykong, on 12/07/2007, -2/+25You bury "Wow...", but you digg "Sorry to hear this"?
- redmaxx, on 12/07/2007, -5/+28*shakes head*
Should have gone to see House. - drgooch, on 01/25/2008, -4/+27I blame the Bush Administration.
- effedup, on 12/07/2007, -6/+27who cares? seriously, wtf do i care? i'v never heard of this person. maybe i should start a blog and write about my dead gramma, submit it to digg, and then hope people give a *****. god, this is all you have to be conerned about.. i mean really.
- Boshow, on 12/07/2007, -2/+23cheeseballs...that cocaine and cheese.
- wendelgee2, on 12/07/2007, -3/+22have.
not of. - robdiggity, on 12/07/2007, -4/+21No, never heard of her. You are just a retard.
But keep at it. I am sure you can get buried faster if you really want it. - DraconWolf, on 12/07/2007, -7/+24It's wrong to say "I'd hit it" in this situation, isn't it?
- Twoodge, on 12/07/2007, -4/+17What about the families of the 150,000 other people who died that day?
- hello2usir, on 12/07/2007, -0/+12I think all of you carebears should open the obituary section in today's newspaper and individually weep for every other person who died recently. And then do it every single day.
- GodIsntReal, on 12/07/2007, -10/+22I care.
Oh wait no i don't. - dotlizard, on 12/07/2007, -1/+12alright now folks, i understand the tendency is to automatically assume model = druggie/anorexic, but what if she had an aneurism or something? i mean really, there's a strong possibility this is drug related but why jump to that conclusion before there's some proof? it's really disrespectful to the family and to her memory, not to wait until there's more than just a vague news story stating the cause is under investigation.
- MDKAOD, on 12/07/2007, -0/+10Now would be, "I'd probe it"
- Rahodeb, on 12/07/2007, -3/+13America should be as indifferent as they are about all the other deaths, or equally as sad.
Meanwhile, suicide bombers killed over 20 in Iraq, but that's just a number, it's not a pretty white girl. - diidiiidiid, on 12/07/2007, -5/+15Or, we're just human beings who don't like *****. How about that!
- Matteos, on 12/07/2007, -1/+11Yeah, 21 grams.
- wafflesomd, on 12/07/2007, -14/+24Who?
- amphoterous, on 12/07/2007, -0/+9I shouldn't have dugg you up for that... but I did.
- stonerose, on 12/07/2007, -17/+26Tragic. My heart goes out to her family.
- inactive, on 12/07/2007, -4/+12No, no, all thin and healthy looking women are entirely made out of photoshop pixels and have a mental illness that makes them starve themselves. In fact, no woman under 150 lbs has ever existed.
And all the women you see running marathons, with 5% body fat: all anorexic. Because the healthiest women in the world all have a mental illness that makes them starve themselves. And having a non-obese body is impossible. - BoneheadFarker, on 12/07/2007, -2/+10Cocaine's a helluva drug...
- StephenCIreland, on 12/07/2007, -0/+8theres been 3 people sent to hospital after taking cocain in ireland in the last month, theres some stuff that was cut back bad or something floating about
- Rahodeb, on 12/07/2007, -2/+9I was thinking bulemia
- WillLynch, on 12/07/2007, -4/+11Katy was a highly popular celebrity in Ireland. Over here, this is big news.
You do know how to use Google right?
She was hauntingly beautiful and her death is a complete and needless tragedy. My thoughts are with her family and friends.
The rumour on the grapevine is that she came across a particularly strong batch of coke as she confessed to having used it before. It was probably the same nasty batch that put another kid in a coma in Ireland last week.
Another victory for the farce that is the "war on drugs". Prohibition clearly does not work and once we allow drugs to be administered by criminals instead of the state, well, quality control goes out the window and such tragic deaths will sadly occour.
The autopsy will reveal all - until then, it is only speculation.
May she rest in peace. - DangerStepp, on 12/07/2007, -2/+9How cheesy can you get? You know you don't care. You just wanted diggs, you shill.
- greengiant2684, on 12/07/2007, -0/+7hopped up on goof balls? smoking the extamacy?
- wayne247, on 12/07/2007, -0/+7You missed a period, an exclamation mark and a comma.
--Signed, the chief of punctuations.
Seriously, "must have/must of" and "they're/their/there" are probably the most frequent horrible errors people tend to make. It's painful to read. We tell you so you can learn. - MDKAOD, on 12/07/2007, -1/+8"My holy god"
Who? - alkajazz, on 12/07/2007, -2/+9I want a celebrity idolization section of digg.
- revyn, on 12/07/2007, -2/+8Dugg for the article using 'probe' and 'model' next to each other in the same sentence.
Still, 24 years is far too few. :( - mediatedthought, on 12/08/2007, -1/+7Duh, when pretty people die, the media actually cares.
- Rahodeb, on 12/07/2007, -2/+8You're biting sarcasm has made me see the error of my ways. How could I have possibly thought that a model would have an eating disorder. What would possibly posess me to think that the world of high fashion is created through starvation and drugs. Oh, that's right, it would be the news, biographies, television shows, expose's and dead models that did it.
- milliamp, on 12/07/2007, -5/+11I'd still hit it
- JonyMill, on 12/07/2007, -2/+8What loot did she drop?
- citekare, on 12/07/2007, -1/+7Their not worthless. They inspire millions of women to starve themselves to become living skeletons eating and barfing their meals so they never gain weight. They make millions wearing some in-breeder coke head's idea of clothing, and appear in scores of magazines for us to ogle at. They are misunderstood and should be loved by all! Leave KATY ALONE!!!
/sarcasm - salinemist, on 12/07/2007, -1/+6I think it's safe to say we didn't lose a cure for cancer.
- fak3r, on 12/07/2007, -1/+6Dugg for Modest Mouse ref.
- norashers, on 12/07/2007, -0/+5She wasn't as popular as the parent claims. A minor celebrity at best who appeared on the latest of our national broadcasters z-list celebrity shows.
For TV dinner familes this is probably big news, for the rest of us there are more important things to worry about.
(BTW She went to school with one of my friends so I do know what she was really like, and yes it is terrible for her family and friends, but that's not what I'm commenting about). - nullx42, on 12/07/2007, -0/+4when?
- Rahodeb, on 12/07/2007, -2/+6Please, it wasn't even original. If you're going to troll, at least try to add some good comedic value.

What is Digg?
