She has money, sponsors, connections, could of generated lots of help for them yet she walked away leaving those people worse off closing down tent city just for ratings can you believe it ratings she could have improved tent city and helped those people. Many of them were people who had had their homes foreclosed on or lost their jobs due to the economy. Thumbs down all the way to Oprah I won't even watch her show she is on my to be boycotted list.

He was speaking out against censorship, and she did a good job of censoring him.

I was hired by a consulting company about 11 years ago and as part of the package they gave me, I received a sign on bonus. This was given to a number of people. For the first few that were hired, they gave them the bonus they said they would, but taxes at it up almost in half. For guys that were hired a few weeks later, like myself, they made the correction and gave us enough money so that when taxes were taken out, we received the bonus they had promised.
In the case of giving everyone a car, she would have also have to give a check for $7K to each person to pay their taxes...and that $7K would be taxable income as well! I know when someone goes to a game show, there are always tax implications afterward. When someone wins a million dollars on a game show, no one ever talks about the fact that a good 40% of that is eaten up in taxes.

Not saying that I am an Oprah fan but you could remove her name from the list and replace it with the ladies from "The View", Ellen DeGeneres, Dr Phil, Tyra Banks, etc if they are on air for amount of time Oprah has been around.
