Tom Cruise Not a Total Douche at Matt Lauer's Roast

blogs.villagevoice.com — Tom Cruise was not only a good sport for showing up to roast Lauer, he really killed. Guy was hilarious and self-deprecating. He joked about how he and Lauer were actually best buddies and went everywhere together, how they pranked Willard Scott, and how they talked on the phone four times a day (and he had slides to go with it).

    edit: Gonna digg this article anyway but would have been nice if the title/description was more focused on the roasting by several very notable celebrities (Cruise, Couric, Stewart, Viera, Saget, Gottfreid, etc.) rather than yet another attack on a single celebrity who is "cool" to hate on.

Just like a lot of people out there he's just goofy with religion. I personally think ALL religions are cults but whatever. I worked with Travolta on Swordfish and he was cool as ***** too. Again, ***** insane religion but I choose to judge the individual.

People can believe whatever they want. I agree that the Church of Scientology itself is VERY unethical and underhanded, and I would like to see it outed for what it really is, as much as the next person. However, I'm not going to hold anything against it's members, especially if I don't know them personally.
