- Solacer, on 12/18/2008, -24/+215"The Mask: Low Point"?
The Mask is *****' awesome. - inactive, on 12/18/2008, -1/+130buried for labeling Ace Ventura as "midpoint"
- thelastknowngod, on 12/17/2008, -11/+136i think he is a much better serious actor (with The Number 23 being the exception). Eternal Sunshine, Truman Show, The Majestic, Man on the Moon...
his days of cartoon comedy are over in my eyes. its time for him to evolve as an actor and leave his past behind him. - Velocity14, on 12/18/2008, -3/+123Does anyone else think that new "Yes" movie is "Liar, Liar 2"?
- hokeywebb22, on 12/18/2008, -16/+136I got to them calling cable guy a low point and this was buried.
Cable Guy is a hilarious movie.
"It's just skin steven" - palagrim, on 12/17/2008, -5/+122I have to disagree... The lowest point in all of cinema was Batman and Robin...
Loved Man on The Moon though... - u8eR, on 12/18/2008, -3/+111Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind is a great movie.
- Hetman, on 12/17/2008, -13/+104I have to disagree. Bat man and Robin as a movie did blow. But the riddler was the best part of the movie. Jim Carrey played the riddler exactly like I would imagine the riddler to be. The movie just blew.
- 42Vindictive, on 12/18/2008, -4/+87Calling the Cable Guy a low point? That was a genuinely funny film.
- Mizzark, on 12/18/2008, -2/+79The best being him coming out of the rhinos ass
- J3553, on 12/18/2008, -3/+60cable guy is a ***** great movie and carrey is brilliant in it.
sure he's had some piss poor movies, but i think he's a decent actor and a hell of a comedic talent. i watched his movies dozens of times growing up and he's a legend in my eyes.
also, dumb and dumber.... 'nuff said. - Nathrat, on 12/17/2008, -1/+54The Riddler was in "Batman Forever", not "Batman and Robin".
- existentialduck, on 12/17/2008, -2/+54i couldn't stop thinking of this jim carrey moment when i saw this post
check it out at 1:24...lol
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCy4yhiJw4g - GenghisRon, on 12/18/2008, -2/+51Please, Batman Forever is not worse than Batman and Robin
- bdubatdi, on 12/18/2008, -2/+51cable guy was awesome -- article is trash
- inactive, on 12/18/2008, -6/+50Not just no Fire Marshall Bill, and calling "The Cable Guy" a low point? Buried.
- lololol1, on 12/18/2008, -2/+43Yes
- DirtPile, on 12/18/2008, -3/+42Alllllllllllllllllrighty, then.
- jc7012, on 12/18/2008, -4/+40I have to agree that Eternal Sunshine was definitely his best performance.
- RedStormRising, on 12/18/2008, -4/+37Why isn't Liar Liar a high point? Why? WHYYYYYYYYYYYY?
- 1807, on 12/18/2008, -3/+35Dude, Did you ever SEE Cable guy? I know you saw it when it first came out, but watch it again, See how many FUTURE stars it had in it..and by the way, it was a LOT funnier now, probably because it is more along the lines of today's Wedding singer, Meet the parents, Old School, Zoolander-type comedy. It really is worth another watch. I promise you'll enjoy it. Actors in the movie Include: Jim Carrey, Matthew Broderick, Leslie Mann, Jack Black, Owen Wilson, Ben Stiller, Janeane Garofalo, Andy Dick, Kathy Griffin, Paul Greco, David Bowie, Bill Clinton, I mean how could you go wrong?
- wondertwins, on 12/18/2008, -2/+31i believe it was one of his most funniest and best films.
- cerealjynx, on 12/18/2008, -6/+33Ace Ventura 3, please.
- maxer64, on 12/18/2008, -1/+27One of the best films of all time. Science fiction-romance-comedy? How many of those are there? ESOTSM is the best of them all.
- elpresidente408, on 12/18/2008, -3/+28Did anyone else like The Majestic? Didn't see it on that list
- christopheles, on 12/18/2008, -1/+24Quentin Tarantino said that "Batman & Robin" wasn't just the worst movie ever, it was the worst thing ever.
- DangerCollie, on 12/18/2008, -1/+24Wrong movie, but I agree with the gist of the comment. Jim Carrey was the stand out performance as the Riddler. My sense is they gave him the motivation of the character and let him put his own spin on the lines. Especially in those days he was at the top of his game. The first Ace Ventura movie....classic.
His material seems flat these days. Maybe that's married life...even though one might suggest being married to Jenny McCarthy should be straight up high five territory. - carpeclunes, on 12/18/2008, -0/+23It is a fact that most holocaust victims rate Batman & Robin as the number one worst thing in history.
- Luciapalooza, on 12/18/2008, -1/+23It's my favorite Jim Carrey movie...so misunderstood and underrated though
- Hardrockshero, on 12/18/2008, -2/+23You dare question the greatness of Dumb and Dumber??
- thelastknowngod, on 12/17/2008, -2/+23they mentioned Batman Forever, not Batman and Robin.
- specialK16, on 12/18/2008, -1/+22Great movie, or greatest movie?
- Enderplayer1, on 12/18/2008, -3/+23I wish they would have included "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" while it wasn't a masterpiece I got a good deal of laughs out of it.
- ricker2005, on 12/18/2008, -4/+24This is retarded. Batman Forever wasn't even the worst Batman movie, let alone the low point in cinema history. Plus the author's only comments about Carrey's Riddler are talking about his haircut and outfit. Neither of those points covers the acting itself, which was fine and easily the best thing about the movie.
- rothman857, on 12/18/2008, -1/+19whoever wrote this is a ***** idiot...i dont consider cable guy and especially the mask to be low points. and ace ventura a mid point? this is bogus, do not digg
- inactive, on 12/17/2008, -15/+32It's a shame he's just not funny anymore. I can't believe how amazing he was on In Living Color. Let me show ya something!
- inactive, on 12/18/2008, -1/+18i enjoyed the cable guy at least a midpoint...
- wpc33, on 12/18/2008, -0/+16It is, but I don't think it ages well...just my 2pennies...the article sucks.
- shenanigoats, on 12/18/2008, -0/+16Down, down down! Red knight's goin' down!
