- whatthefu, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8No Madonna? Where she cusses on-air a bunch of times and refuses to leave?
- themurph2099, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Poor, poor Crispin Glover....
- luket13, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5NO Richard Simmons and the fire hydrant
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-739552012 ... - astrofrank128, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Do you watch television? Every "late night" show makes fun of itself; it's funny because how long do you think they can really spend writing each show? They relate to the public, they laugh and everyone and everything, including themselves, and you can call it cheap, but I call it being a good sport. Besides, Letterman's interview prowess, lightning wit, and just plain funny jokes are what really make the show entertaining. Did you see the Paris Hilton interview? I'm with Letterman.
- davidcubed, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I wish there were cameras for the other side of the Drew Barrymore one...
- sockpuppets, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5PeeWee Herman was hilarious. I miss that guy.
- Eslamicolt3, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4No Richard Simmons? Come on, seeing Letterman go for the fire hydrant every time is classic
- drachemorder, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Shouldn't this be top *ten*?
- JoshuaGross, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Wow. The Crispin Glover clip is freakin' bizarre.
- fredrihl, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Should have been a Top 10 list, though. Late Show style!
- yojiffyskippy, on 10/10/2007, -3/+6That may be the worst Top "anything" list that I've ever seen. Are you sure you didn't just post the first 12 clips that you could find?
- mashlin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2dugg for being all on one page
- Matsky, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2http://youtube.com/watch?v=YOvt6eozFiE
Is that the one? - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I am not going to click only because of the three listed in the description, only ONE was from The Late Show With David Letterman.
Anyone who ws a fan of Late Night WWith DAvid Letterman puts The LAte Show in about hte same light as Caddyshack fans put Caddyshack 2. Trying to lump events on Late Night with Late Show is an insult to humor. - Dumbledorito, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I thought it was funny when he called "Olaf" at the Russian embassy to spread a rumor ("A recent shipment of US wheat to Russia was tainted with a 'hahmless' chemical, but it turns your urine blue.") and then followed up the next day by sending him a bunch of NBC swag. Olaf's reply over the phone: "Kill self."
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I didnt understand the Harvey Pekar incident, until I found this:

The guy is a freak. - ehmjay, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2No kidding, that interview was PRETTY intense!
- dramatools, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Decaffeinated coffee... it's useless warm brown water.
- AROZ, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2This is list is tragically inadequate.
- FredSanford, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2That was one of the few times it really felt like Dave had totally lost control of his own show.
- ogden, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Not even close. Donutapult? 1000 tacos in the back seat of his convertible? Anything with Richard Simons?
- AROZ, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2That interview was classic.
- Fragalishus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2http://mysite.verizon.net/res71imq/Nudes/drew.jpg - nsfw
- astrofrank128, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I repeat: Did you see the Paris Hilton interview? It was rather... no, extremely witty. Not only that, but it was ballsy. "Someone you met in prison?" Letterman has serious interview skills time after time.
And why are you so stuck on "Will It Float?" Ok, you're allowed to not find that segment funny. You don't even have to find the majority of the show funny, but really, I have to disagree with even an expert such as yourself that the show is crap and doesn't deserve to be on TV. Letterman relates to his viewers and he's not afraid of them or his guests. - sparf, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1That's the most interesting thing I've read all day.
Really... thanks. - radzack, on 12/02/2008, -0/+1Where was all the crazy jack hannah moments?!
- EntropyGun, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I'd say just about any episode with Brother Theodore would qualify for a list like this.
- driftin079, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1How far our standards have fallen...
- tical2756, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Harmony Korine was pretty crazy both times he was on

- nape, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1how come all of a sudden letterman is all over digg?
- astrofrank128, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I just realized the ambiguity of what I said... I meant every Letterman episode, not every show out there. oops.
- dnic24, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1no beavis and butthead??
- getatmedigg, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1How about the Penn & Teller desk full of cockroaches prank/trick. That was awesome. This happened when Dave was on NBC.
- OwlFlavored, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Dugg for Andy Kaufman being #1. He was one of the most brilliant celebrities in that he really knew how to get a reaction out of people, be it love or hate. RIP Andy.
- threemagic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Farah Fawcett's interview is the craziest and most classic moment on Letterman. BAR NONE.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0if only that actually happened.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0he never asked her to leave.
- Narph, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Lucky for you they are making another movie!!!
- sockpuppets, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I'm sure that issue of playboy can be had for a dollar on eBay.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I don't like David Letterman that much. He tends to overreact at times unlike Conan O'Brien..
- feedzh, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2Z8UvXjgG8
And Gillian Anderson kissing Letterman :D - DirkAlmighty, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0What about Courtney Love?
- shiningfor, on 10/16/2007, -0/+0Seems saw him before on a celebrity and millionaire dating site called millionairefriends.com
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0So, I did end up clicking, and just as I thought...TWO of 12 were actually from The Late Show.
- Matt174e, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1What is it?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFc-U0Am_rU
o_0 (NSFW) - headlites, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0That list was full of suck. And Cher was right. Letterman is an ***** to his guests.
- astrofrank128, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1Every show has at least one really crazy moment. We'd have to make a list of the craziest moments from each show to do justice.
