/frank - charlieville, on 12/03/2008, -0/+32No body puts swayze in a corner especially not the tabloids
- Aleksland, on 12/03/2008, -0/+27Tabloids will never change!
- louiebaur, on 12/03/2008, -0/+21Entertainers have their publicists plant these remarks with the various types of media. Hard to believe anything that is said nowadays!
- dha07030, on 12/03/2008, -0/+17The guy has Pancreatic Cancer (a death sentence). I am sure he stopped caring about acting.
- casbboy, on 12/03/2008, -0/+15This is a lowpoint for tabloids for sure. Morbid lies?
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -1/+15I don't care who he is, pancreatic cancer in anyone means they're extremely sick.
The average one-year survival rate is ~20%, and the average 5 year survival rate is 4%.
If his cancer has metastasized, the prognosis is pretty bleak. - trendygamer, on 12/03/2008, -0/+10"The 56-year-old star of "The Outsiders," "Dirty Dancing," "Ghost" and "Point Break," AND ROADHOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How do you forget Roadhouse? - captainbethany, on 12/03/2008, -0/+9His best work: http://video.google.com/videosearch?hl=en&q=patric ...
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -0/+9I've seen people go thru cancer, and it's no ***** joke. I wouldn't even wish this ***** on my most hated enemy. I can honestly say I've never watched a Swayze movie, but I hope that the poor bastard doesn't suffer any more than he already is. It doesn't matter that he's a celebrity, I couldn't give a damn, cancer sucks.
***** the tabloids and to hell with ***** who have no compassion. - Kallahan, on 12/03/2008, -0/+9ROADHOUSE!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZyJCV_dyug - inactive, on 12/03/2008, -0/+7SWAYZE SMASH!
- bytor4232, on 12/03/2008, -0/+7Very bleak. We just buried my father in law who was diagnosed on Halloween. He lasted about 3 weeks.
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -2/+9If he can't stand the heat, he should get out of the kitchen.
- jfoobar, on 12/03/2008, -0/+7Swayze's cancer diagnosis, battle and ultimate death is worth millions in revenue for the tabloids and other celebrity-centric publications and TV shows. Fact. Can't be helped so long as millions of nitwits read/tune in.
Sadly, my wife is one of them. - funkyloki, on 12/03/2008, -0/+7I don't know if you were being sarcastic, comedic or dumb. Swayze was not in Big Trouble, I think you are thinking of Kurt Russell.
- krahzee, on 12/03/2008, -0/+7The man who did Road House can never be washed up, just "between projects"
- plainOldFool, on 12/03/2008, -0/+6What are you talking about? That was Kim Cattrall.
- Lucas123, on 12/03/2008, -0/+6Here's a thought: Stop buying trash tabliods.
- hoodoodave, on 12/03/2008, -0/+6Keep up the good work, Pat.
"WOLVERINES!" - JD84, on 12/03/2008, -0/+6Pain don't hurt
- etx313, on 12/03/2008, -1/+7I'm still SWAYZE CRAZY!!!
- plhearn, on 12/03/2008, -0/+5Pancreatic cancer is the worst form of cancer you can get. Theres no way to detect it until its too late. Basically you start peeing blood one day then you go to the doctor and he tells you that you have 6 months to live.
- zephc, on 12/03/2008, -0/+5I wish you all a very Patrick Swayze Christmas http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZyJCV_dyug
- Julie188, on 12/03/2008, -0/+5Hope he pulls through, but you would think cancer of all things would help him ignore and not be bothered by tabloids ... they are tabloids after all.
- zombiecarlin, on 12/03/2008, -0/+5Kurt Russell dumbass.
- etx313, on 12/03/2008, -1/+5"Go suck a *****!"
"Tell me, how exactly does one suck a *****?" - Hetman, on 12/03/2008, -0/+4I knew cancer could not kill Brodi. I thought that as soon as I read he was dying.
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -0/+4Swayze has done terrific work. Red Dawn, Road House, and my favorite Point Break. Get well!
- rz8472, on 12/03/2008, -0/+4Sometimes I question your commitment to Sparkle Motion.
- captainbethany, on 12/03/2008, -0/+4Don't we all? :(
- kismetropolis, on 12/03/2008, -0/+3I don't blame him for being angry.
The man is trying to live as normally as possible despite a debilitating disease. That's courageous.
They're trying to put his one foot in the grave for him. That's despicable even by tabloid standards. - chooter, on 12/03/2008, -0/+3We love you, P-Swayze!
- quomen, on 12/03/2008, -0/+3Can you think of a highpoint for tabloids?
- jba68, on 12/03/2008, -0/+3I miss Farley!
- black27696, on 12/03/2008, -0/+3if she's so stupid post naked pictures of her and link them here. That would show her.
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -0/+3Tabloids lie?
- davidsmero, on 12/03/2008, -0/+3Sawyze express.
- peestandingup, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2That was a pretty obscure quote. Kudos!
- mescon, on 12/03/2008, -1/+3Dugg for Donnie Darko.
28 days... 6 hours... 42 minutes.. meeeh.... to hell with it.
Good movie though. - K0NY, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2Yup, my dad died from it. Brutal disease. I hope his final days are restful and pain-free.
- danibobanny, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2All this week on Town Talk!
- peestandingup, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2Next week's headline: Lesbian Nazi Hookers Abducted by UFOs and Forced Into Weight Loss Programs!
- tommyjwall, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2It doesn't sound like he's having the time of his life.
- kismetropolis, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2Actually, he just finished a season of filming a new show.
He's not letting it make him lie down and give up even though he's terminally ill. - nathanwalker, on 12/03/2008, -1/+3Damn. Thats what I get for typing things out without my coffee.
- every2ndcounts, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
- aakoosh, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2My grandfather passed away this past weekend with the same cancer Swayze has. Pancreatic cancer is a very very mean cancer. And its survival rate is very low. Swayze is very lucky because they found the cancer very early. Usually they don't because its signs show up very late. For my grandfather, they found it a week ago.
**** cancer! - dha07030, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2To everyone pointing out that I am wrong. He will be dead by next year. The fact that he is planning on doing anything or is doing a few projects is no proof. He is dying of course he is try to accomplish more before he dies.
- TjLAXattack, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2Nobody puts tabloids in the corner.
