- vault, on 07/01/2009, -1/+73A movie about an infomercial salesman?
- The3rdjj, on 07/01/2009, -1/+66I'm not sure if anyone can play Billy Mays. We'll see
- Xihix, on 07/01/2009, -8/+63They say deaths come in threes. Leave it to Billy Mays to throw in another for free.
- bmcnally, on 07/01/2009, -0/+44Richard Karn (aka Al Borland) should play Billy Mays in any movie/biopic.
- doc101, on 07/01/2009, -1/+42BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE
- CoreyHalliwell, on 07/01/2009, -0/+34he better fatten up. I mean that in a GOOD way, Billy could punch steve's head off, he was a big guy.
- sh1tman, on 07/01/2009, -2/+31Ben Stiller
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -2/+30Honestly, I was pretty upset when he died. When my roommate told me I flipped out and ran to my computer. Then I read his son's tweet about him not waking up before any news network aired anything. He may be an infomercial salesman but he was cool as hell.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cze51WpybDU - IIECONII, on 07/01/2009, -1/+27THAT'S UNFORTUNATE; BILLY MAYS *ALWAYS* KNEW WHAT HE WAS YELLING ABOUT!
- slimthps, on 07/01/2009, -4/+29No, they don't.
- O8SERVER, on 07/01/2009, -1/+21BILLY MAYS HERE FOR BILLY MAYS HERE, THE MOVIE!
- RatatRatR, on 07/01/2009, -2/+21awful comparison
- the8thbit, on 07/01/2009, -0/+17Honestly, I didn't care about Fawcett, or MJ, or McMan, or anyone else who died- but Billy Mays I had really felt like I had 'gotten' to know through Pitchmen. Yeah, he just seems like a loud guy trying to make a buck in his commercials, but his show portrayed him as a really good person, funny, and he seriously cared that the product he promoted helped people and worked well. Sure, he may have been a little misguided, but he had really good intentions.
I was honestly a little depressed when I heard he died. Like a little part of me had died with him, as crazy as it sounds. This is especially strange, considering he's a salesman, and I'm a communist. - EGOvoruhk, on 07/01/2009, -1/+16Death of a Salesman?
You might have heard of it. It was a small play about a salesman - controversial, on 07/01/2009, -0/+15if you go by how he looked in little miss sunshine and add a little weight he'll be perfect:

- EggAndMuffin, on 07/01/2009, -2/+16LOUD NOISES
- Kolumbic, on 07/01/2009, -0/+13BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
- vault, on 07/01/2009, -8/+21...which was about a comedian and actor with an interesting career. Billy Mays, on the other hand...
- spookyttws, on 07/01/2009, -0/+13What an Original comment....Well, it was, when it was said it on several other Billy Mays stories by other people.
- surfacewound, on 07/01/2009, -0/+12STAY THROUGH TO THE END OF THE CREDITS AND GET NOT ONE BUT TWO MINUTES OF OUTTAKES!
- InfinitySnatch, on 07/01/2009, -0/+9Somebody was sitting on this idea for years, just waiting for him to die.
- jonesyno, on 07/01/2009, -0/+7I DON'T THINK SO, TIM
- Krekko, on 07/01/2009, -0/+7I have never been as depressed over the death of a celebrity as I was with Billy Mays.
For many Years he has been my idol... my Hero, and to see such a great man ( And like you said Pitchmen can help you get to know him a bit better), you can see that he was not just the guy trying to make a quick buck, and to go through a bit of his thought process and every day life.
He chooses products he not only believes in, but listens and makes decisions based on how much this going big can help someone.
Loud guy with a heart just as big as his voice.
RIP Billy. - Sil369, on 07/01/2009, -0/+7who will play tom cruise in the Tom Cruise epic biopic trilogy when he dies?
- codyman, on 07/01/2009, -2/+9Billy Mays... in 5.1 surround sound
CRANK IT TO ELEVEN - Rain12913, on 07/01/2009, -0/+7I used to think they were the same person back in the early OxyClean infomercial days.
- FreddieD, on 07/01/2009, -0/+7Yeah, I took his death harder than MJ's. I almost feel bad for doing that, since Jacko was one of the most talented entertainers ever and obviously a much bigger icon than Billy, but Mays did a great job of making people see how comfortable he was in his own skin. Things like parodying himself in that ESPN 360 commercial, the youtube of him ordering in the drive thru, etc. He honestly seemed like the kind of guy you could have just had a beer with.
- primatage, on 07/01/2009, -0/+6fantastic.
- hpodity, on 07/01/2009, -3/+9In answer to your question: "Steve Carell to play Pitchman Billy Mays in Movie?"
No, no he will not. I thought rumours were supposed to be believable? - Krekko, on 07/01/2009, -0/+6One of the best shows I have seen in a long while has been Pitchmen. It is funny, and shows the great life and Direct Response TV (Infomercial) Market.
- sameer768, on 07/01/2009, -0/+6BUY THE TICKET NOW AND GET THIS STRAIGHT TO DVD EPIC, BILLY MAYS: THE SEQUAL, FOR HALF PRICE!

- diggcommentguy, on 07/01/2009, -2/+7I'M LIKING THE THOUGHT OF THIS.
- GraphiteBlimp, on 07/01/2009, -0/+5Yeah, you definitely can't have a beer with Michael Jackson. He doesn't drink anything that doesn't look like a Shirley Temple.
- diggcommentguy, on 07/01/2009, -0/+5LOUD NOISES!
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -0/+4Richard Karn aka Al Boreland from Home Improvement would make a better Billy Mays.
- the8thbit, on 07/01/2009, -1/+5Mmmm copypasta!
- Atario, on 07/01/2009, -0/+4Wow, that was quick.
- btschul, on 07/01/2009, -2/+5And Billy never stuck his ***** into young boys.... so....there's that, too.
- FreddieD, on 07/01/2009, -0/+3Vince Offer can be played by Willem Dafoe.
- gridbread, on 07/01/2009, -1/+4I don't think I can sit through movie-length yelling.
- GeekNurse, on 07/01/2009, -0/+3I did, and no.
- Rain12913, on 07/01/2009, -0/+3Good god, give that man some shoe polish for his hair and tell him to yell and he'd be perfect.
- copypastry, on 07/01/2009, -1/+4Needs more ROBIN WILLIAMS. Homeboy needs to make a comeback.
