To think that the most important thing in your life is your own personal comfort is absolutely the most selfish thing a person could think. If you're really ready to give up on life, why not throw it away on something that will help other people? Put all your money into a charity and live on the street, volunteer to do something in some developing nation, just something to put yourself in a different situation than you are.

    But we also have to realize that suicide isn't normally committed through a logical thought process. If you've ever seen anyone with an honest mental illness, you know they don't act normally or logically. I've been around people who stare at the wall literally for hours and then cry when they eat.
