That's why God (or whatever invisible giant you believe in) smote Tibet with an earthquake. Beijing, on the other hand, was untouched. In August, every sporting even will feature a moment of silence commemorating the tragedy of the "recent" earthquake. Any protests will be seen as disrespectful to the dead.
